Summary
Wayne hands the phone over to Eddie, and with a questioning eyebrow raised, he brings the phone to his ear.
“Hey, it’s Eddie.”
“Hey!” Steve sounds almost surprised, but the nervousness is hanging latent in the crackle of his voice across the phone. “Hi, Eddie, how’re you?”
“I’m good, just messing around with some music again. What’s up?” He’ll be the normal one, in this conversation, since Steve is being weird again.
“Yeah, I was actually gonna ask if you’d mind helping me out with something today?”
“Yeah, I’ll bring the van and be over in ten?”
“Great!” The sigh of relief is audible from the other end of the phone. “It’s a date.”
