Chapter Text
You left the team behind and went to the door, making sure to cover your face with a mask and a cap. Outside reporters and fans were everywhere, making it hard to make your way outside the stadium without bringing attention to yourself, you honestly just wanted to get to your room and rest for the matches scheduled for tomorrow.
You were able to zig zag through the crowd to the section of the Olympic village reserved for the players.
“Thank goodness” you sighed to yourself and started looking in your bag for your access card.
“Fuck, where is it?” the searching became more frantic the longest you couldn’t find it. You really didn’t want to deal with reporters now.
“Hey miss, that is restricted access” A voice made you freeze, you knew that voice.
You hadn’t seen him in years, and apart from the cordial texts from time-to-time congratulating holidays and birthdays you hadn’t really spoken to him either. Ushijima had told you police reinforcements around the stadium were common during the season, you just didn’t expect it to be him.
You could hear his steps getting closer, so with all your courage you turned around.
There, standing tall and imposing was Daichi, dressed in a police officer uniform and resting his hands on his hips, obviously ready to scold whoever he thought was entering unauthorized to the building.
That uniform made wonders on him, if it were any other person, you would be flirting with all you had.
“Sorry Sir, I just can’t find my access card” you said while taking down your face mask, a smirk decorating your face.
His face fell from stern to surprised in a second, you didn’t mean to sound so flirty, it just happened. When he realized who he was talking to he gave you a shy smile, you could tell he was blushing.
“Y/N… It’s being a while” his tone made it clear that he was unsure on what to say.
“Yeah, it has”
