Work Text:
It was the beginning of summer and Sigma had just moved in with Fyodor. Fyodor’s house was a lot bigger than his own, but also cozy at the same time. But, after a week, problems had already come up between the two and Sigma wasn’t taking any of it. As for right now, Fyodor was at work and it was around 9pm. Sigma had already eaten dinner, he was just waiting for Fyodor inside their bedroom, and calling Nikolai.
“I genuinely don’t know what to do Nikolai, he’s just been…ignoring and avoiding communication! I’m not sure how to make him listen.”
Sigma’s tone indicated that he was obviously very annoyed and frustrated as he spoke to Nikolai, which wasn’t the first he had heard.
“Well..I don’t know any other way of making him listen to you other than one thing. But, you might not like the idea of it.”
Nikolai knew very well that Sigma wasn’t the type to get all demanding and stuff when it came to his loved ones, and his idea was very much related to being demanding, but it might be worth a try if Sigma really is desperate. Plus, it wouldn’t hurt to try something new. Sigma was as bland as rice honestly.
Sigma on the other hand was considering Nikolai’s option. He’s hesitant of course, but if doing what Nikolai suggests will make Fyodor listen to him for once, then it could be worth a shot. Finally, after a few moments of silence, Sigma sighed before speaking up.
“..Fine. What is your idea? I’ll try it.” Sigma said with a hint of hesitation in his voice.
Excited, Nikolai grinned after hearing Sigma’s response.
“Yes! Okay, how about when Fyodor comes home, you talk to him like you plan to, but if he doesn’t listen, you grab him by the collar and demand him to get on his knees yeah?”
Sigma instantly went to protest or at least counter this crazy suggestion of Nikolai’s. No way Fyodor would get on his knees!
“What- Nikolai you know he won’t do that! He’s going to kill me if I even attempt that.”
“You never know! Fyodor used to talk to me all about you before you guys got together anyways. Fyodor is quite literally heads over heels with you, I promise you it’ll go fine!!”
In annoyance, Sigma sighed and dropped his voice to a lower tone.
“Right, but like...would that really be okay to do?”
Nikolai could already feel Sigma’s insecurity through the screen now. God he was a hard cracker to break.
“Sigma. Listen to me closely. He would BURN the entire world for you. You think he would give up on you over some arguments? If you don’t get your man I SWEAR I will haunt your dreams.”
Slightly convinced, Sigma sighed again before he answered.
“Fuck, okay, fine. I’ll do it. Fyodor is about to come home anyways..you want me to let you know how it goes?”
“Hell yeah! Let me know! You got this girl, don’t even worry honestly. Bye noww!~ good luck!”
Before Sigma could say another word, Nikolai already ended the phone call. In the silence, Sigma sat up from his bed and groaned.
“Okay Sigma, you got this. You got this…”
As soon as Sigma finished preparing himself, the front door opened, indicating that Fyodor had arrived home. Sigma stood up and went near the door, leaning against a desk they had inside the room.
After a few minutes, Fyodor finally came upstairs to the bedroom. Confused by Sigma standing in front of the door, Fyodor raised an eyebrow.
“What are you doing?” Fyodor questioned. He shortly stepped into the room after asking the question, wondering what his lover could be up to.
Sigma clenched his jaw for a second, hesitating on whether or not he should do this or not.
“Fyodor…we need to talk. Seriously.”
“You say? How about later, I’m pretty tired right now.”
Sigma continued to stare at Fyodor as he took off his jacket, his eyebrows furrowing slightly in annoyance.
“No, we need to talk now. I’m not waiting for later, you always say that and we never end up talking.”
Fyodor sighed as he turned to face Sigma, his expression unreadable.
“Sigma, I’m not going to-”
Not waiting any longer, Sigma went up to Fyodor and grabbed him by the collar, closing the distance between them which made Fyodor shut up.
“I said now. Either you get down on your knees or I won’t hesitate to leave you right here, right now.”
Surprised, Fyodor stared down at Sigma, taking in the information. After about a second, Fyodor went on his knees and looked up at Sigma without a thought.
“Of course dear. We can talk.”
Holy shit…it actually worked.
Sigma had a shocked look on his face but quickly masked it with his anger and got his thoughts together to finally have this conversation. He has been DYING to get Fyodor to listen and Nikolai’s ideas had actually worked for the first time.
“You…I know you’re busy with work and all, but I feel like you don’t love me.” Sigma stated.
Continuing on, Sigma made sure to keep eye contact with Fyodor no matter how uncomfortable he was right now.
“I know very well that you love me, but you aren’t showing me it and I want your attention. Every day you come back home and I only get a few kisses before bed, that’s all. Am I not worth more? Do you not have energy or the motive to love me anymore because of work? Tell me.”
Fyodor took in the words, listening to Sigma, but also the tone and the hurt he has caused to the other. For a moment, silence filled the room after Sigma spoke.
“You’re right. I have been neglecting you and my work doesn’t excuse it. I’m sorry darling, I’ll make it up to you. I’ll pamper you every day to the best I can, you don’t have to worry anymore.”
Afterwards, Fyodor stood up on his knees and leaned into Sigma, hugging him from below while keeping eye contact with him.
“I promise.” Fyodor whispered.
Relieved on hearing this, Sigma smiled and held Fyodor’s head, enjoying the sight. Maybe being demanding wasn’t too bad…and seeing Fyodor desperate wasn’t something Sigma thought he would see, but he liked this side of him. It was oddly attractive.
“I love you.” Sigma said affectionately.
Sigma leaned down and kissed Fyodor, pulling away after a minute or two.
“I love you too.”
