Nadezhda and her mom live in a small town just outside of Moscow, Russia, called Fyodorograd. Life is pretty normal there, despite the revolution knocking on their door. But, one day, tragedy no one saw coming hits the small village. The girl and her mother get separated from each other. Just when the little girl thought she was going to be left alone to rot, a man and his men come and rescue her. Little does she know that the man that just rescued her is a member of the Revolutionary Army named Vladimir Makarov.
