The seconds sludged by, each 'tick' of the timer feeling like an eternity lived in for a thousand lifetimes.
Guest stood ready, glancing anxiously at his watch display, half of the survivors were dead, with chance being at a dangerously low percentage of health as per usual. On the bright side there were only thirty seconds remaining, but a lot could happen in that timeframe.

Guest immediately jumped into action, sprinting towards the commotion while checking his watch to gauge who had been attacked.
Taph now sat and a risky 30 percent, and was seen sprinting past guest clutching his shoulder like it was about to fall off.

Guest jumped to the left to slow the killers pursuit of the masked demolitionist, raising his hands to block an incoming machete slash.

To his horror, nothing came into contact with guest's raised forarms, as Jason had simply ran around him to continue his chase.

He tried to run towards taph, hoping to block him from the next possible fatal blow, but his legs refused to co operate with his intentions. No matter how hard he tried to run, he was stuck walking until his stamina began to regen.
There was nothing he could do now but watch and hope taph wasn't finished off before the timer hit zero.

Taph opened his eyes and brought his hands to the table beneath him, gasping for air.
He had survived, and barely at that, with Jason being mid-slash when the round had ended.
He looked up from where he was sat on the wooden chair, slowly moving his hand away from the formerly wounded shoulder as the pain began to subside.
They noticed guest staring directly at him, a look of relief on his scarred face, his posture relaxing as he calmed down.
Taph glanced away quickly, before signing a quick,
' (that was close) '
His right arm seemed to move sluggishly but the words were understood regardless.
"Yeah, i wasnt sure you were gonna make it kid!" Guest answered as he walked to Taph's side, attempting to help him off the chair he was slumped on.
"That was an eventful round!", exclaimed Chance, leaning back on his chair with a huge grin.
Guest nodded before adding
"Too many people were lost during that, a change of strategy may be in order", a thoughtful expression on his face.
Taph looked up at him as if to agree, before breaking free from his grasp with a quick signed 'thank you'.
The three of them walked out to the main cabin area, Shedletsky was lying on the couch, Elliot was stood at the kitchen, seemingly cooking something.
Two time walked over to greet them, a wide smile worn on their pale face.
"Ah my friends! You have made it out alive, thank the spawn!", they commented with a nod, extending a hand to congratulate them on their success.
"Yup! No killer can stop the great Guest, Chance and Taph!", Chance joked with that same annoying smirk they always had.
"Fairly cocky for someone who finished the round with 12% hp left", Guest gave him a light punch to their back while he was reminding them of their shortcomings.
"ah well, nearly never won the race!" Chance replied, their eye twitching, but yet still grinning.
Taph let out a soundless giggle at the pair while walking towards Dusekkar, who was stood at the cabin door, to greet him after the round.
Builderman approached the group, waving a quick hello before asking, "Ay chance, is the game still on later?"
The man adjusted their fedora, before replying "Why, are you having second thoughts builder?"
in a mocking tone.
"Ah no, I'm grand with the whole thing, just wonderin' ".
"Great! Tell everyone to meet me in the cabin in about an hour or so, I'll bring the bottle".
Some time had passed since the rounds of the day had ended, they suspected it to be an hour, maybe more, but there was no way to truly tell.
Chance strutted into the main cabin, with noob and elliot walking behind.
Noob appeared to look slightly nervous, but otherwise excited. Elliot looked weary, but smiling nevertheless.
The other survivors were already gathered in the main cabin, and had been waiting for chance to return with the three survivors who had yet to arrive.
"I found Noob and Elliot! Couldn't seem to find twotime though, they are probably praying.. or telamon knows what.." Chance mumbled.
Elliot gave them a look while passing by, but nothing was said.
"Alright everyone, gather round, and leave a little bit of space in-between eachother!"
"lets try get a good even circle going."
"I wonder who goes first!"
"I-I hope its not- not me!"
"Aaah thats the luck of the draw now noob, if the bottle says then it must have been decided by lady luck herself!"
"o-oh sor- sorry!"
"Don't worry noob, they're only joking with you"
"Aye shed, are you sure you want to play this? Don't yous have a wife at home?"
"Oh Brighteyes would be finee with me doing this, me and her used to go to parties and play together all the timee while we were seeing eachother"
"Sounds like a healthy relashionship"
"Oh it was.. and still will be if we make it out! but lets not dwell on possibilities at the moment, we have a game to start."
"Come onnn we dont have all eternity... hopefully, spin the bottle so we know who's first!"
'(You guys talk alot yet say so little)'
Noob giggled at taph’s signing, no one else seeming to notice his words.
"Place the bottle down and allow it to make a selection, we do not require the time for reflection."
"Will you guys hurry it up over there? I'm nearly asleep on this scratchy couch." Guest shouted over from where he was sitting.
"Alright alright everyone calm down, im putting the bottle down now, and guest, are you sure you don't want to join in?"
"Ah no, i wouldn't be comfortable with the wife and kids still being at home, I'm still happy to watch though."
"Suit yourself!"
Chance spun the bottle and quickly crawled back to his spot between noob and builderman.
The bottle spun around a good eight times before beginning to slow to a halt, pointing directly at.. Dusekkar.
The mage's pumpkin grew slightly purple as the bottle pointed at him.
Noob, who had been sitting next to dusekkar, stared at the bottle wide wide eyes, clearly relieved that it hadn't landed on themself.
"Alright Matt, you're up first!" Shedletsky nudged builderman with a smile, the other admin giving him a knowing look before continuing to watch their former coworker.
"It seems the bottle has chosen thee first, i shall spin it and find my partner for the duration of the round as i now must"
The pumpkin crawled a couple studs to spin the bottle again, then returned back to his spot.
Dusekkar felt his flame burn brighter as the bottle slowly began to come to a stop, his pumpkin slowly turning from blue to a dark purple.
Shedletsky noticed and chuckled, 'Ya got someone in mind duse?'
The poor mage was much to focused on the bottle to reply, which had now come to a halt, pointing directly at Taph.
Taph looked at the bottle for a solid five seconds, before immidiately looking back up at dusekkar, his head wings fluttering slightly.
Chance got up and grabbed dusekkar by the fur on his collar, and hoisted him up, Taph got up on his own and was now stood, staring.
"Come on, into the closet you two go!" He commented with a wide grin stretching across his stupid grey face, pushing duse in the direction of the wardrobe.
"Yes yes i am aware, no need to push, please play fair"
Taph looked up at him and signed something quick, at a speed that was hard to decipher. Dusekkar's flame practically exploded out of his head, his pumpkin nearly glowing purple, whatever taph said clearly had the intended effect, as the masked demolitionist appeared to be giggling, none of the of the survivors noticed, as they seemed to be too busy laughing at the flustered pumpkin.
They both climbed into the closet, the space cramped but big enough to fit the both of the two men. Taphs headwings were fluttering, and dusekars face remained purple as ever. Chance slammed the door shut, locking it and giving it a knock "Aaaand your time starts.. now! Have fun in there you two!"
He walked back and sat down next to noob, smiling like a mad man. Shedletsky and builderman both looked to be holding back a laugh, the sight of the fellow admin in such a flustered state had shedletsky hitting the floor in tears, builderman had nearly followed him, but didnt want to miss a second of dusekkars panicked rhymes.
Taph adjusted his form, bringing his hands infront of him so he could communicate.
The glow from dusekkar's head was enough to illuminate his hands, so the two had certainly been a lucky pair.
'(would you like to start?)'
Dusekkar opened his mouth to speak, but then closed it, a wicked grin creeping across his face. '(I dont want the others to hear us)' he signed back.
'(is that a yes?)'
... '(yes)' he signed back after a pause.
Taph slowly crawled closer, sliding his legs out from underneath him slowly and carefully, to not make a sound.
The space was too cramped to avoid them touching somewhat, so taph decided to make the most of it by crawling atop the man.
He approached dusekkars face, the pumpkins glasses beginning to slip with no hands to catch them. Dusekkar couldnt move, and he seemed to like that.
Taph pushed the mages glasses back up, and slowly began reaching for his own mask to pull it down. He hadn't shown anyone in this realm his face before, yet he felt no worry as the mask was removed from its normal place.
Dusekkars eyes widened, he weirdly hadnt anticipated taphs cover being removed, despite the fact that it had to be for the mouth to be reached.
Taph leaned back, pulling his hood down in the process. '(do you.. like?)'
The man had long, wavy-curly and slightly frizzy dark brown hair, which was tied into a loose bun at the back of his head. There were feathers on either side of his face around where his head-wings started, a lovely gold and black colour. He had golden eyes, and dark skin, freckles strewn across his nose and cheek. On the left side of his face was a healed bomb wound, revealing teeth and stretching across around a quarter of his face, stopping under their eye.
"Oh my yes, you're.. pulchritudinous"
Taph blinked back, confused, but shook his head with a smile, assuming from the shaky tone that it was a positive word. He leaned in, pressing his face to dusekkars, before tilting his head for the kiss. Dusekkars pumpkin was warm and smooth, with no lips to really reciprocate the kiss, but the fires warmth was enough to satisfy taph. The winged man stuck his tongue out and drew it along the edges of his kissing partner's carved mouth.
Dusekkar inhaled sharply at the new sensation, but didn't protest, as he met Taph's tongue with his own. It was made purely of the flames inside his head, warm, but didn't burn. The feeling made Taph shiver, while his hands explored the man's antlers and back.
Duse brought his hands to the taphs wings, drawing them along the feathers and scratching the base of the feathered appendages.
Taph shuddered at the feeling, a heavy blush creeping to his freckled and scarred cheeks.
He pulled his head away to gasp for air, before diving right back in, the others firey tongue tangling with his own.
Outside the closet, the survivors remained quiet and listening. The could hear the hiss of taphs spit mixing with the flame, and the sound of ruffled feathers smacking again the closet walls.
The occasional short yelp from dusekkar grew rarer as the time progressed.
Five minutes had passed, and there had been a suspiciously low amount of breaths heard from the closet.
"Jeez, poor guys are practically choking on the others tongues, i wonder if they will both remain conscious", Guest commented.
That warranted the man a slap on the back from builderman, who had been seated next to him on the couch, a giggle from noob, and a laugh from 007n7 and shedletsky.
Elliot looked at the closet shaking, silently wondering if he should prepare a pizza incase the thing toppled over.
A loud BANG was then heard from the inside of the closet, knocking everyone out of their thoughts. Builderman hopped up and ran to the closet, knocking on the door. "Are you lot ok in there?"
Complete silence came from the closet, not a sound being made by either the survivors or the two inside, until the sounds of kissing and muffled words continued.
Dusekkar had managed to flip him and taph over to a position where they both sat on their knees, but due to the cramped space, they had slipped and toppled, knocking both him and taph onto the floor. Taph hugged him with his wings, a bit shocked from the fall, before bringing his lips to his mouth and exhaling a shhh sound.
Dusekkar opened his mouth anyways to answer builderman, but taph was faster, giving a quick nip to his mouth and shoving his tongue down the others pumpkin.
He had successfully shut the other up, and they continued to kiss until their time was over, barely even remembering to breathe at times.
Chance stood up, the key in hand, and walked over to the door to unlock it.
"Knock knock, your time is up!"
As the lock clicked, the door swung open, chance jumped to the side to dodge the incoming men.
Out fell an upturned duekkar and an unmasked taph, still kissing and still atop the other.
The survivors watched them in shock, before breaking into a fit of giggles and laughter.
A couple survivors noticed Taph without the mask, and looked away out of respect, for the poor guy's privacy.
Chance was not one of those survivors.
Taph panicked, bringing his face wings up to cover his exposed self while scrambling to grab his hood and mask.
"Face your attention elsewhere, for our Taph doesnt wish to be seen without his facewear".
The survivors who had still been facing them all turned away out of shock at the mage's tone; it was a rare occurrence when Dusekkar raised his voice.
He turned to assist Taph, digging his mask out of the tangled robes and helping him re-tie it, and slipping his facewings back into the holes in the side of his robe.
"there, all has been righted, you may return your attention to us, now that his face cannot be sighted".
The giggles had died down after the shout, leaving Dusekkar and Taph awkwardly shuffling over to the couch in mostly silence. They sat curled up next to each other, with Taph resting on the larger mans shoulder, watching as the the survivors who were willing to play reformed into a circle.
No one had seemed to notice the hand placements as they tumbled out of the closet. No one had seemed to notice Taph’s hand quickly retracting from Dusekkar's upper thigh, and Dusekkar doing the same..
No one but noob. They now sat cross legged and wide eyed, holding back the biggest laugh but not wanting or having any intention to tell anyone about what they had witnessed.
"You two not going to play another round?" Elliot asked, bottle in hand. '(No thank you, i would like a break for at least two rounds after that)' Taph signed back, Dusekkar nodding in agreement.
"Ah thats alright you two, feel free to rejoin if you want to play again!", Builderman chuckled.
"Allllright, Elliot up next, who will the bottle choose this timeee?!"
