Michael was bored out of his ever loving mind. He was sitting at the Apollo table for dinner but he was still bored, not really hungry so Michael just started humming free bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd, a song his mother on his mortal side played a lot.
All of a sudden Wadsworth and Pollux came up to Michael. Michael just stared at them, Wadsworth had short brunette hair, amber eyes, browline glasses, she had on a camp shirt and jean shorts then Pollux had his blonde hair, purple eyes, a camp shirt then black jeans and some boots.
“What the hell do y’all want?” Michael says tapping his finger on the table.
“Impatient much? Well anyways me and Pollux were told to get you, Jake wants you” Wadsworth replies smirking as Michael rolled his eyes at her.
Michael got up to leave the dining pavilion as Pollux and Wadsworth both snickered then started waving bye to him. Michael had always thought Pollux and Wadsworth would be a good couple but he wouldn’t dare tell that to their faces unless he wanted to be slapped.
Michael walked down to the lake where Jake was with Nyssa, Kayla and Drew. Jake was messing with Nyssa’s hair while Kayla and Drew were swimming and almost drowning each other.
“Kayla and Drew! Don’t kill each other! I don’t wanna be the infirmary while Lee bitches at me for not watching y’all” Michael yells to them. Jake laughed a little as Nyssa got into the lake.
“Gods they’re definitely gonna drown each other one day” Jake says while laughing then Michael smiles, Michael liked to deny it to people but he was in love with Jake.
“100% but it’s interesting to watch to say the least but Lee will kill me if Kayla, Drew or Nyssa end up in the infirmary under my watch” Jake nodded as Michael spoke. Jake hugged Michael, gods Michael just wanted to kiss him but he buried his head in Jake’s shoulder to avoid making any decisions so quickly.
Jake just smiled at Michael messing with his hair as Michael stuck his tongue out at him for messing with his hair, Jake flicked his forehead. They both started laughing.
“You’re such a dork, you know?” Michael declared to Jake. Jake sighed and shook his head and flicked Michael’s forehead again.
“Very hypocritical” Jake replied “I wouldn’t be saying that if you are one to” Michael shook his head laughing at Jake.
Michael loved being around Jake. He always remembered when it was a campfire while Wadsworth told a ridiculous story probably about how she fought roosters in Italy even though she had never stepped foot in Italy but while she told the story. Him and Jake would make jokes. Jake would hug Michael etc and Michael loved it, he couldn’t imagine his life without Jake his best friend also crush.
Michael looked over at Jake and Nyssa who were making eye contact. Nyssa was making eye contact that looked like she was telling Jake to do something while Jake looked nervous. Michael started to get nervous to the fact Jake was nervous so he started humming while tapping his knee.
“Uh Mike, I have a question for you” Jake asked while he was very clearly fidgeting which made Michael more nervous.
“Yeah sure what?” Michael replied waiting for Jake’s question.
Jake took a deep breath “Will you go on a date with me. It’s okay if it’s a no I swear!” Jake asked.
Michael froze he could feel his face getting warm. All Michael had wanted for the past year was for Jake to ask him out and it finally happened.
“Absolutely fucking yes, you dumbass” Michael replied grinning widely. Jake started to mess with his hair but Michael and Jake both notice Kayla, Drew and Nyssa looking at them
“FIRST ONE TO TELL LEE GETS MY CANDY STASH FOR THE NEXT MONTH!” Kayla yells as Drew, her and Nyssa got out of the lake and started running towards the infirmary and Michael sprinted up and started running after them while Jake tried to catch up as they ran into the infirmary then tripped over. Lee just stared at them like they all were insane.
“Lee! Michael is going on a date with Jake!” Kayla yells out to Lee while she smirked at Jake and Michael.
“What the flying fuck is happening right now?” Lee yelled ripping a bit of his hair out as he poked Kayla in the ribs with his thumb and she yelps, Michael laughed at her then Lee poked Michael in the ribs to and Michael swatted him away.
Everyone laughed while Lee just shook his head and sighed at them then Lee walked over to the counter and picked up a hunting knife and walked over to Jake then put the hunting knife to his neck.
“Ever hurt Michael and you are a dead man, you hear me?” Lee stated to Jake while Jake just froze.
“Wasn’t part of my intentions but I promise I won’t” Jake promised Lee as he smiles when Lee smiled at him then Michael shoved Lee.
