Steps to our home

Summary:

Sawamura's and Miyuki's daily life as a couple and trying to get accustomed to it.

Notes:

Hello again! :D This fic is basically the continuation of my other fic where they were dealing with their feelings for each other until they finally got together... (it almost took them 20 chapters though)
And I only decided to begin this one because of the superkind lovely reviews that I got because holy shit I certainly don't deserve them. So this is all for you, you wonderful people <3
And this story will start only one week after their confessions... and who knows how many chapters will this go on (I only know how it would end :P). So if you have any ideas or tropes anything that you would love to see here or anything then you can find me on tumblr too or leave them in a comment or anything. :D I might not be able to update this as fast as the last one though, so I'm apologizing for that beforehand. :)

Chapter 1: Step 1: telling him your worries

Chapter Text

“I have a question.”

“Of course you have…”

Eijun scowled and closed his shoujo manga before turning his head to the other side of the room, where Miyuki was currently trying to study behind his desk. They could faintly hear the sounds of the metal bats hitting balls from the field, but besides that it was strangely quiet in Miyuki’s small room. And Eijun wasn’t a big of fan of silence.

“So…” He began saying but when Miyuki turned his head to look at him he quickly bowed his head to avert his gaze. “I’m just…”

“…You’re?”

“I’m… I mean…” He awkwardly brushed his hair and took in a deep breath. How should he phrase it… Words were never in his favor whenever he wanted to say something important. He finally looked up and when he saw that Miyuki was actually smiling at him – probably only because of the clearly visible agony that was showed in his expressions – he shook his head. “I don’t know.”

Miyuki suddenly laughed aloud. Eijun so far had managed to distinguish seven types of Miyuki’s – his boyfriend’s – laughs and even if some of them annoyed him to no end his heart obviously thought otherwise. But then Miyuki stood up and when he began walking to his bed where Eijun was laying on his stomach his heartbeat only got faster and faster.

Damn Miyuki.

He sat down only inches away from Eijun and reached out to gently ruffle his hair with a fond smile on his face. Eijun quickly hid his face – and his red cheeks – by pushing it onto the pillow, which didn’t help his situation at all since it smelled exactly like Miyuki.

Maybe it would be the best if he would just get up and run away…

Then Miyuki changed his position and sat down on Eijun’s waist who muffled out a cry onto the pillow.

“Now now, Sawamura.” Miyuki said with an unmistakably teasing tone and leaned his head closer to Eijun’s nape. He practically whispered his next words in his ear. “Have you lost your ability to speak coherently, too?”

“What do you mean ‘too’?” He tried to mumble out but since his face was pressed onto the pillow it came out more like ‘whaddameto’. He had no idea whether Miyuki understood it or not, but he seemed to completely ignore it. He leaned even closer, and now Eijun could felt his nose touching his nape. He couldn’t help but shivered.

“I’ll let you go only if you tell me what’s bothering your small lovely mind. Grunt once if you’ll do so.”

Eijun rolled his eyes. This wasn’t the side of Miyuki that he liked the most, he was already sure of it. But still, it wasn’t like he could’ve picked the ones that made him fall in love with him in the first place. No. That’s not how it works.

But how does all this work?!

He grunted once after he realized what he wanted to say. The thought that had been bothering him for almost a week now. After Miyuki got off of him he quickly sat up and turned to face him.

“This!” He exclaimed unnecessarily loudly. He couldn’t help it; he finally knew the cause of his troubling thoughts and how to fix it. Miyuki raised his eyebrows questioningly in front of him. “This whole… dating!”

“What–“

“How is this any different then how we were before?!”

Miyuki blinked a couple times seemingly trying to understand what Eijun just said. But that was it! Ever since Eijun realized how he feels about the most annoying person probably in the whole world he had been daydreaming about how they would spend their days if they ever got together. But now that it happened he had to realize that nothing really changed. Well, besides the kissing parts, of course…

Miyuki tilted his head a bit and still kept staring at Eijun.

“You mean… that you don’t like this?”

“No!” Eijun shouted quickly and put up his hands. “I like this! I love it! Really!”

“Then… can you be a bit more specific?”

Eijun sighed and hid his face behind his hands. Words were failing him once again…

“I just… I’ve never been in a relationship before.” He admitted quietly. “I… I don’t know what I should do…”

In front of him Miyuki sighed tiredly, then he reached out to grab Eijun’s hands and freed his face from their cover. He leaned closer and closer to him until their foreheads and noses were touching.

“You don’t have to do anything. Just be yourself.”

“That’s it?!” Eijun asked in disbelief. He thought Miyuki would solve all his problems and free him from all his worries but… That’s really all there is to it?

Miyuki shook his head, which resulted with their noses constantly bumping together.

“You read too much shoujo manga, Sawamura. Maybe you should take a break and read some meaningful stuff.”

“You’re mean. Again.” Eijun scowled.

“And you’re an idiot. Just like always.”

“That was even more mean…”

Miyuki laughed aloud before he planted a small kiss on the left side of Eijun’s mouth, their lips barely touching.

“I’m sorry if the truth hurts.”

Eijun got fed up with Miyuki’s constant teasing and the way he still kept his hands in his hold, like he was somehow having control over him… He had to find a way to show him that he has his own will and intentions, too. So he tilted his head a bit and kissed him before could’ve given him a chance to point out his flaws a little more.

Unfortunately it seemed that Miyuki was waiting exactly for this. He released his hold on Eijun’s hands and put his own on Eijun’s sides and began tickling him without ending the kiss.

And Eijun really, really hated himself for telling Miyuki a couple days ago about the spot where he was the most ticklish.

He tried to free himself all the while laughing uncontrollably and being kissed unceasingly but he could only think of one thing to do. He leaned back and back and back right until the point where he could felt the pillow under his head. Miyuki followed his every movement and he only stopped tickling him when Eijun was completely lying on the bed. His bed, Eijun reminded himself quickly as he realized the position they were in, too.

Miyuki leaned back and smiled down brightly at Eijun.

“Now, will you let me go back to study or do I have to kick you out?”
