Work Text:
I’d be lying if I said my bucket list hasn’t changed much
It used to be filled with fancy dreams and such
Now I think about styling my hair in waves
And maybe I could stop being reclusive and go to raves
I’m terribly near-sighted, so I really need glasses
So that I won’t squint at my students when I start teaching classes
I look forward to finding my other half
Maybe one day I will hug my kids as I laugh
Oh, and I need to learn how to drive
But first, I need to figure out how to thrive.
