    There was one fact all Creatures were aware of.

    Don't interact with Aggressive Fairies.

    They were considered unstable, even over a century after 'The Winter Ball Massacre', after they'd been locked away. No one went near them, and no one heard from them.

    The only person known to have interacted with an Aggressive Fairy was Charles himself. Probably.

    Charles knew the stories, when his mum had been able to tell him the history of Dragons and Creatures, she'd made sure he knew how to stay away if he saw one. Their anger was unruly and chaotic; they could never be trusted.

    Edwin gets cornered and without Charles there he has to protect himself. The aftermath is not pretty.
