It’s Keith and Lance’s last year at college. Keith had a big realization about his feelings towards one of his best friends. But he’s terrified at the thought of telling him. When Keith gets sick he doesn’t think anything of it, until he starts coughing up flowers. When it gets worse he has to come to terms with it, either he tells Lance the truth, or lets everything remain unsaid.
Hanahaki Syndrome: The slow growth of plant life, typically flowers, through the respiratory system of a patient. The growth is typically focused in the lungs and trachea, though it can grow to affect the sinus cavity as well. If untreated Hanahaki syndrome is fatal.
