You were hunched over on the floor witnessing the rather adorable sight unfold, Caine thought it would be really fun to make little minis of the cast and for some odd reason jax's mini was spoiling your own rotten!
and she was just eating it up. She bounced happily
As he ran back and forth bring her flowers, sweets, pillows..you get the jist of it..
Suddenly a voice chimed in behind you
"hey have you seen our minis?"
It was jax, you look up at him briefly
Before returning back to the minis, "um yeah actually..I have been haha. This mini you is inaccurate to how you could ever be"
You smirk teasingly.
Mini Jax is presenting mini you with another flower, while real Jax observes your reaction with amusement
"Looks like someone's having fun watching my mini self make a fool of himself." He says
You smile tenderly
"It's adorable and that mini me is absolutely eating it all up haha"
Jax's ears perk up at your smile, though he tries to play it cool
"Cute? You think watching that little version of me simp is cute?"- he moves closer to you
Jax's eyes narrow playfully as he watches his mini self showering you with affection*
"Well, I guess I should be taking notes then. "
he steps even closer, almost invading your personal space.
Mini Jax is now attempting to make a flower crown for mini you, while real Jax's gaze keeps darting between you and his mini self
"You know... I could spoil you like that too, if you wanted. "
his voice drops lower, you look up facing him again.
"Pfft-
You?? Would that be when theres a real exit out of this hell"- you say with a laugh
Jax dramatically clutches his chest, pretending to be hurt by your words
"Ouch doll, that stings. I can be sweet when I want to be... just ask my mini self."
-"You being sweet...sure"
You reach out with your index finger and gently pet the mini Jax
Mini Jax practically melts at your touch, while real Jax crosses his arms with a slight pout. He now hunches down beside you
"See? Even the mini me agrees I can be sweet. Just not to everyone."
he watches you interact with his mini version
You start neglect the real Jax by spoiling
This mini with affection that should be his and his alone...not this tiny knock off!
Jax suddenly reaches out to grab your hand, pulling you away from the mini Jax and mini you
"Stop petting my mini self and pay attention to me."
he smirks, still holding your hand.
You turn back to face jax with a frown,
"Jealous much?" You reply with a bit of snark and tease
"What? Did you wanna be pet too?"
Jax's grip tightens slightly on your hand, his purple fur bristling at your teasing
"Maybe I do. But only if it's you doing the petting." he tugs you closer
You feel your face heat up slightly at the motion
"Okay peter cottontail"
You release yourself from his grip. Jax lets out an exaggerated sigh, but there's a hint of
disappointment in his eyes as you pull away
"That's not a nice nickname, doll. I'm not a bunny rabbit from some children's story."
His gaze drops slightly but his ears still have that playful perk to them.
"Its fitting with how childishly you Behave"
You laugh softly. He smirks and feels his heart melt at the sound of your laughter.
Jax's ears flatten against his head in mock offense
"Childish? I'll show you childish."
he suddenly pounces on you playfully, knocking you both down
You let out a small yelp as you both thud onto the circus ground
Jax laughs as he pins you down, his weight keeping you from getting up
"Now who's the childish one, dolly?"
he grins mischievously
You take this as an opportunity to reach out with your free hand and pet the top of his head, placing your hand between his ears. you're surprised to find fluff to his fur instead of just a smooth 3D model;
Jax freezes for a moment, clearly not expecting you to actually pet him. His cheeks flush slightly
"Hey... that's not fair. You're supposed to be mad at me for tackling you. "
despite his words, he leans into your touch
"Well I just hadn't expected it to be so soft and fluffy!"
You smile happily causing jax's face to turn an even deeper shade of red
It only gets hotter and more dark as you continue to pet him
"It's... it's real, alright. And you're making me look ridiculous right now."
he tries to maintain his tough demeanor but fails miserably
Jax's tail twitches involuntarily as you find a particularly sensitive spot
" Now stop that... I can't think straight when you do that."
He turns his face
You let out a loud laugh at his reaction, you smile at him again
Jax growls softly, though it comes out more like a purr as he struggles to maintain his composure
"Stop smiling too. You're enjoying this way too much, doll. I'm supposed to be the one in control here."
Your eyes perk..
"Oh you in control huh?"
Jax tries to sound confident, but his voice wavers slightly as you continue to tease him
"Yes, me. The big bad bunny."
he shifts his position slightly, still on top of you but now looking flustered.
Jax groans in frustration, his ears drooping as he realizes he's losing his cool facade
"You're impossible. One minute you're calling me childish, the next you're making me act like a lovestruck fool."
You crane your head to the side and stare at the minis
Oh no he doesn't like that-!
The minis are now cuddling together, completely oblivious to the scene between you and Jax
"Don't look at them! Look at me!"
Jax grabs your chin and turns your face back toward him
You blush-
Jax's eyes narrow as he leans closer, his face inches from yours
Ultimately you cant fight back the urge to laugh, its contagious..he tries to stifle a laugh by asking
"What's so funny about this? You're really testing my patience, you know that?"
his grip on your chin is firm but gentle, he's always been so gentle with you...now that you think of it, he's rather crude and harsh to others and yeah you've been victim to his pranks but never as extreme as the others...
Jax's expression softens at your laughter, a rare genuine smile crossing his face
"You know what? I like seeing you happy like this. Even if it means being your personal pillow."
he reluctantly releases your chin and flops down beside you, You turn over on your side and face him as he stares up at the ceiling.
Jax turns his head to look at you, his purple fur shining in the digital light
"What now? Got more teasing planned?"
he asks with a hint of playfulness in his voice
-"No im just enjoying my best friends company"
You then reach out and take hold of his gloved hand
Jax's heart skips a beat at your touch, his fingers intertwining with yours automatically
"Best friend, huh? Is that all I am to you? "
he asks quietly, his usual cocky tone replaced with something more vulnerable, your eyes falter slightly
"Its all you ever call yourself " you mutter...
Jax turns to face you but immediately
Turns to look away, his grip on your hand tightening slightly. He uses his free hand to bury his face in it
"Yeah, well... maybe I want to be more than that." he mumbles under his breath, barely audible
You look at him in awe and face immediately turns a beet red
The silence stretches between you, heavy with unspoken words. Jax seems to be debating whether to say more, his ears twitching nervously
"Dolly, I..." he starts, then stops himself
You immediately give him all your attention
and remain unnaturally quiet.
jax takes a deep breath and finally meets your eyes again, his expression serious
"I've been meaning to tell you something important. But I'm scared you'll laugh at me or reject me." He forces a laugh
"You? Scared
I didnt think that'd be possible" you try to lift the mood
Jax chuckles dryly, his thumb rubbing circles on the back of your hand
"There's a lot you don't know about me, doll. I'm scared of losing you. Of ruining our friendship."
You want to speak out but you find it best to let him finish, Jax inhales sharply before speaking again
He sits up abruptly, pulling you up with him. The minis are still playing in the background, but Jax only has eyes for you
"I'm in love with you, dolly. I have been for a long time."
his voice is steady despite his obvious anxiety
Jax waits anxiously for your response, his ears drooping again. The usually confident bunny looks incredibly nervous now

"Please say something... anything. Even if it's just to tell me to shut up." He says with his eyes glued to the ground, its only then you realize how quiet you've been.
"Ah-! I like you too! I mean love- I- GAH"
you mentally slap yourself, you've never been good with this stuff
But it was enough for Jax's eyes to go wide and a big smile on his stupid face.
"Do you mean that-?"
He asks anxiously . You immediately nod your head enthusiastically
"Yes I mean it! I really do and I think you're really funny, kind, sweets and hilarious..."
You ramble on nervously fidgeting with your hands, you fail to notice Jax who itched closer and pressed a gentle kiss to your cheek
"Im glad, thank you doll- you don't understand how much you mean to me."
He speaks tenderly, you both smile and giggle happily
You attention is grabbed by the minis That cheer happily
Jax rolls his eyes
"Yeah yeah wrap it up"
You laugh intertwining your hand with his.
You turn to look at him, his eyes never leaving yours once
You both lean in sharing a soft tender kiss, the minis mimick
And the both of you enjoy the shared love you have for one another, Jax has never felt happier and he never thought he would ever feel this happy since entering the circus.
Hopefully if ever possible
Once the two of you leave the can continue
To enjoy this shared love
without the unfortunate case of dealing
With the annoying teeth ai
