In the section 6 office, Soukaku, Tsukishiro Yanagi, Asaba Harumasa, and Hoshimi Miyabi are currently waiting for the newest member to join their section.
“Nagiii? How long are they going to take? It has been two hours-“ Soukaka who’s on the couch complaining a bit.
“Honestly I don’t even know. They were supposed to be here an hour and a half ago” Yanagi is starting at her watch
“Well if they don’t show up can I- we-“
“No one is leaving early Asaba” Yanagi cuts Harumasa off
“Ah-! Sorry I’m late—I overslept.” A person with short black fluffy curly hair, pointy ears like elf ears, purple eyes, and glasses runs.
“Faye, you’re here” Miyabi's head perks up from her paperwork.
“I’m so sorry-“
“You don’t have to apologize. It’s your first day” Yanagi clearly explains
“Ok. As you should already know, this is Soukaku, Asaba Harumasa, Hoshimi Miyabi and I’m Tsukishiro Yanagi”
“Welcome!” Soukaku runs over
“Hey,” Harumasa waves at Faye
(Time skip to 3 weeks later because I don’t know what to do)
“Faye?” Harumasa tips on his shoulders”
“Hm? Yes Harumasa?
“How do you use that scythe? That thing is huge!”
“Huh? On this? I don’t know. I guess it’s just not hard for me” Faye’s ears twitch
“Whoa” Harumasa's eyes widened smiling
Faye nods and smiles, still looking at Harumasa.
“Faye! Harumasa! Nagi and Miyabi are looking for you guys!” Soukaku interrupted them
“Ok, we’re coming. Come on Harumasa”
In the meeting room. “So, they’re a mission that’s in the hollow that we assigned to use. Faye? How good is your Ether Aptitude?” Yanagi starts explaining
“Uhm, it’s pretty good, I should be ok!” Faye smiled at Yanagi.
In the hollow.
“Ughh I’m so tired… we've been in here soooo long” Faye leans on a wall.
Harumasa chuckles and hands Faye a bottle of water “Here, I bought extra”
“Thanks Harumasa!”
“!!! Soukaku watch out!” Faye runs over and shoves her out of the way because there is an ethereal.
“Soukaku? Are you ok?”
“Yeah, am I!”
Faye gets up picking up Soukaku “That’s good.”
Faye takes out his scythe. “You sure you’re not hard?”
“Mhm!” Faye smiles at Soukaku's answer.
Section 6 defends the ethereals in the hollow and completes the mission.
“Woo that took forever-“ Harumasa is leaning on a wall looking at the others.
Soukaku is now leaning on Yanagi tired “Yeah! Longer than normal” she yawns
Yanagi lets out a little chuckle putting up Soukaku as she dozes off. “Miyabi. Do you think it's good to call it a day?”
“Yeah. We should, especially because Soukaku is sleepy”
“Ok. Faye, Harumasa. Miyabi and I are leaving with Soukaku, make sure you two make it home safe”
“Ok, we will!” Harumasa says while the 3 leave
“Wait- Harumasa. There’s someone in your hair” Faye is saying while gently brushing their hair
“Got it”
“I- Faye”
“Oh- sorry I’m too close”
“No no, you don’t have to apologize Faye”
“Oh ok-“
There’s an awkward silence between them.
“Uh. Do you want to walk together??”
“Sure, Harumasa. I live near __”
“Oh! That’s near my apartment. What a coincidence”
“Oh? We do? Funny”
They continue talking while walking to their apartment complex.
“Faye? Are you ok? You started slowing down,” Harumasa walks toward Faye worried
“Mhm. I’m just tired”
“Do you need help?”
“No no, I’m ok..” Faye leans over
Harumasa sighs and picks Faye up and puts her on his back
“Ahh-”
“You look like you are going to collapse”
“Harumasa I’m ok-“
“We have like 20-25 minutes later. You look exhausted, Faye”
“Uh- are you sure this is ok, Harumasa?”
“Mhm”
Like 25 minutes later, Faye and Harumasa make it to the apartment complex. Faye seems to be asleep. Harumasa finds her apartment and gets his keys from their pocket and opens the door walking into Faye’s apartment. Harumasa puts Faye on the couch and finds a blanket covering them with it. “Aw they’re very adorable when she’s asleep” Harumasa chuckles softly. They leave the apartment closing the door. Going the his apartment.
In the morning. Faye’s eyes fluttered up. “Ugh…what time is it.….” Faye grabs their phone looking at the time.
“Shit! I have 30 minutes to get ready!” Faye runs into her room grabs a suit from his closet because their other uniform is dirty.
“Ugh, I don't know how to tie this! Whatever” he grabs her bag running out. Fays still make it on time.
“Yanagi, do you know how to tie this?”
“Mhm. Let me help you, Faye” as Yanagi grabs the tie and helps Faye tie it.
“Where's Harumasa?” Miyabi pops her head from the door
“I don't know, I was rushing this morning. But we do live next to each other. I can go back to check on him”
“Uh… that'll be great. He's not normally late like this, he was supposed to be here an hour ago. He would have tried calling in. I’ll give you his number, all of ours in general.” as Yanagi adds Faye to the section 6 group chat.
“Ok, thanks! I’ll get going now. I’ll call if anything,”
Faye leaves running back to the apartment complex. “Hm…Harumasa should be next or near my apartment” Faye ends up finding it.
“Harumasa?” Knocks on the door
“Huh..? It’s not locked..? Harumasa” as Faye opens the door. There’s Harumasa passed out on the floor.
“HARUMASA?!” Faye kneels and shakes Harumasa.
“Ugh…ow my head…”
“Harumasa are you ok? What happened?!”
“Huh-?”
“Hey, it’s me, Faye.”
“Oh”
“What do you mean by ‘ok’! You’re on the floor! I’m calling Yanagi.” Faye grabs his phone calling Yanagi”
“Shit voice mail…It’s me, Faye. I was calling because I found Harumasa passed out on the floor in his apartment. Bye”
“You don’t need to-“
“No. You passed out.”
“I’m fine-“Harumasa winces as he tries to sit up.
“Hey-“ Faye quickly grabs and holds him. Faye decides to pick him up and puts him in bed”
Faye's phone rings. It’s Yanagi. “Hello? Ok. He’s on their bed right now, ok. See you soon. Bye”
“Harumasa, Yanagi said she was coming over to check on you”
