As Ajax headed to change, Scaramouche sat down on one of the benches, arms still crossed, tapping his foot impatiently. He didn't care much for Ajax’s teasing—if anything, it was just part of their usual routine—but the thought of spending an entire weekend surrounded by his friend’s (crush? boyfriend? look, he didn't know. it was complicated. they weren't together, but.. they were together. you know? shit- whatever!) doting family was a bit daunting. They were always so cheerful, so… wholesome. He wasn’t sure if he could keep up the facade of being a decent person for that long without cracking.
