“Well it looks pretty easy,” Sass said, watching the TV.
“Well yeah but it’s harder than it looks.” Trevor countered
Sass and Trevor had been watching one of Trevor’s romcoms, and at the end the main guy dip kissed the girl right before the credits started rolling. To which Sass mentioned how he’d like to dip kiss Joan. Then Trevor (who has dip kissed a girl before) mentioned how you had to have the strength, and know where to hold the girl. Which is how they got in an argument, per usual.
“Well then can you show me how to do it?” Sass asked.
“I could but I don’t know if I could look at you the same after.” Trevor said dramatically and solemnly before that signature grin of his appeared.
“DUDE, Not kissing me!” Sass said quickly. As Trevor started laughing. “Get someone else to help you, I just wanna know what I’m doing.”
“Oh yea, and who am I gonna kiss?” Trevor asked, looking around.
“You don’t have to kiss them! Just show me how to hold her and that kinda thing.” Sass explained.
“Ok alright I will, but still who’s around?” Trevor said looking from side to side
Then like out of a movie Hetty had the unfortunate timing of walking into the room at that exact moment.
“And what are you too up to?” She asked looking between the two of them standing looking at each other.
Sass turned and looked at Trevor with a smirk.
To which Trevor responded with a wide eyed stare and a small shake of his head begging sass not to do it.
“Hey Hetty, do you mind helping us with something?” Sass asked, ignoring Trevor’s face.
She responded by raising an eyebrow. “Well I suppose I could, what do you need me to do?” She asked.
To which Sass stupidly responded with “I need Trevor to dip kiss you." Clearly Sass realized what he just said and froze
That was followed by complete silence
“It’s not like that! I just need to show sass how to dip someone, we don’t need to kiss.” Trevor said, trying to explain to a very wide eyed Hetty.
“Yea no kissing!” Sass said, backing Trevor up.
“Well” her voice had gone up a whole pitch “even with no kissing I don’t think it would be appropriate for me and Trevor to engage in such an act.” She said as she turned and started to leave.
“Wait Hetty!” This made her turn around “Please, I really want to impress Joan, surely you can understand that.” Sass begged
She paused and thought about it.
“Well alright.” She said,
“Thank you Hetty.”
Suddenly Trevor’s mouth felt very dry, he now had to dip Hetty, his “power friend” and ex. And act like that it didn’t matter; he just had to push this to the side and not think about it. He was just showing sass how to dip a girl, that's it, nothing more. So he just had to be confident.
“Ok now what do you need me to do?” She asked
“Here give me your hand.” When she placed her hand in his it was like an electric shock, how could just a tiny touch feel so powerful? When she looked at him she looked just as shocked,eyes wide and lips slightly parted, before she quickly looked away.
He guided her over to him and had her stop right in front of him.
“Ok now put this hand around my neck.”he said
“Ok” she said wrapping her arm around his neck
“Now sass” sass was now sitting on the couch watching, clearly taking mental notes. “You either put your arm around her upper back or put your arm a little above her hips.”
“Ok”
Trevor turned to Hetty “which do you prefer.” It was a serious question but he couldn’t help but smirk at his words.
She rolled her eyes at him “I suppose whatever works best” she said plainly.
“Well if I hold her by the waist I’d cradle her head when I kiss her.” He heard what he said, but he just decided to not pay attention to that.
He looked over at Sass nodding along.
“And if I were to hold her by her upper back I’d grab her thigh.” He saw out of the corner of his eye Hetty's eyes go wide.
“It’s really up to you.” He said looking at Sass to distract himself from the redhead in his arms.
“Alright” Sass said still very interested
“Ok then you just tilt her.” He said as he grabbed her upper back and leg and dipped her without warning, while her other hand shot up to his chest as he dipped her.
“Just like that.” He said looking at Sass who nodded
“Ok I think I got it.” Looking suspiciously at the two
Then he turned to look at Hetty, their faces not that far apart. “You good?” He asked looking in her eyes.
She just nodded, clearly at a loss for words
And they just stayed like that looking into each other's eyes, it had been so long since he was this close to her. And he could have sworn he saw her lean in a little.
But then.
“Wait, so how would I kiss her? Does it matter?” Sass asked, ruining the moment
“Well I would-“ as he leaned over back to her he stopped quickly when he remembered that it was Hetty in his arms. “It’s really up to you man.” Trevor said.
“No like is it a light kiss or….Can you guys just show me please? I swear I won’t tell anyone!”
“I mean-…. Are you ok with that?” Trevor asked Hetty.”
“Well Sasappis…. If it would truly help you I am fine with it.” She said as she looked at Trevor.
“Like with the dip?” Trevor asked Sass
“Yea”
“Alright” Trevor helped Hetty up.
“Ready?” He asked her
“Ready” she confirmed
Then he dipped her again and this time she brought her other hand up to his face as he kissed her she quickly melted into it. As she moaned into the kiss he slowly brought his head up. He really didn’t want to end it but he knew if he also gave in this would turn into an even messier situation. And by the disappointed noise she made he’s pretty sure she didn’t want him to end it either.
Both of them were breathing heavily he turned to look at sass who was there staring at them with an unreadable expression.
“..thanks guys, and I swear I won’t say anything to anyone else.”
“Yeah no problem man .” Trevor said still catching his breath
“You're welcome, Sasappis.” Hetty said her voice was slightly higher than usual but still out of breath.
A minute passed of awkward silence
Just then Issac’s voice came through the door
“Sass! Joan is downstairs waiting for you if I were you I’d-“ Issac stopped dead in his path, eyes landed directly on Hetty and Trevor who were still in the “dip position.”
Followed by a GASP he asked “I say what is going on here!?”
“Oh, they were showing me how to dip and kiss Joan.” Sass said, but after looking at Issac’s face he added “without the kissing part.” He sent a wink over his shoulder to them
“I see, though ... .why are they still in that….*ahem* position?” He asked, eyeing them.
“I…. Don’t know,…why are you guys still like that?” Sass asked.
Hetty and Trevor quickly looked at each other before scrambling apart.
“Uhh I guess we kinda just forgot.” Trevor said with a shrug.
“Yes I do believe that was the reason.” Hetty said quickly.
“Ok..well I’m going to go see Joan.” Sass said as he left the room still smirking.
“And wha-“
“wanna go watch them?” Trevor interrupting Issac quickly asked Hetty, wanting to escape his questions.
“I don’t see why not.” Hetty said quickly, taking his arm and walking around Isaac.
As they walked down the stairs they heard multiple “awws” when they came into view they saw sass dip kissing Joan while the others watched from the landing of the stairs.
“I guess we’re good teachers.” Trevor said, looking over to Hetty.
“I guess so.” She said, smiling at him. He didn't know if it was him or her or maybe both who started to lean Their lips were an inch apart before they heard Sass
“Yea Trevor and Hetty showed me how.”
They turned their heads right in time to see everyone turning to look at them
“Minus the kissing part!” Sass added quickly with a little smirk
Multiple “ohhs” rang out and a “good lord you scared me.” And someone (probably Flower) sounding disappointed.
He looked over, to her already looking at him, and blushing a little.
Then they shared a knowing smile before joining their friends.
