Great Fox 2
Fox paced nervously around in the hallway, waiting for Krystal to get out of the shower. He had something on his mind, something he did not want to do, but felt he needed to.
For her own good, of course.
“I really hope this doesn’t destroy our relationship and lead to the shittiest plot in our franchise,” he mumbled.
After a few minutes, Krystal was out of the shower and walked out to him.
“Hey, Fox, something wrong?” She inquired, raising a brow.
“Well, you see…” he stopped. He was about to derail his whole life. But it was for her own good….
“You want me to leave the team for my own safety because I nearly got shot down recently.” She flatly stated.
“How did you know?” Fox asked.
“Because I can read minds. Look, Fox, I understand where you are coming from. That was a close call, but kicking me off the team is a bit of a slap in the face. You trained me to be a pilot, knowing what it was like. And I survived the Aparoid wars, right? And I am a warrior, it's what we do.” Krystal reasoned.
Fox thought for a moment before face-palming. “Oh, gosh, I am so stupid. What was I thinking? I was about to destroy our relationship over that,” he realized.
“Well, I actually have a proposition myself. Why don’t we just think about leaving this life and do something else? I mean, everyone else has already left for greener pastures, and work is hard to come by.”
Fox seemed to realize something. “Wow, you’re right. I nearly did something stupid. But what if something happens?”
She smirked. “We kick ass as usual, then we drop this life.”
Then they hugged and kissed and maybe went into bed together.
