Work Text:
The moon shone brightly over Hogwarts Castle, illuminating the empty corridors and the shadows that danced on the walls.
Harry Potter stood in the Astronomy Tower, a place that had witnessed many significant moments in his life.
However, tonight, the air was charged with a different tension, a mixture of longing and fear that seemed to envelop him like a thick fog.
Since the war, Harry had felt a void in his heart, a sense that something was missing. He had rebuilt his life, but there was a name that always returned to his mind: Draco Malfoy.
His former rival, now a partner in the reconstruction of the wizarding world, had changed in ways that Harry never would have imagined.
The rivalry had given way to an unexpected friendship, but there was something deeper that both refused to acknowledge, a feeling that had been brewing in the silence of their glances and in the complicity of their conversations.
As he gazed at the stars, the lyrics of a song he had recently heard resonated in his mind: "I will love you until infinity." It was a feeling that had begun to blossom inside him, but that he had been afraid to accept, fearing that vulnerability could break the fragile connection they had built.
The idea of loving Draco, of surrendering to that love, was terrifying and liberating at the same time.
Suddenly, the door to the tower opened, and Draco appeared, his blond hair disheveled and an expression of determination on his face.
There was something in his gait, a confidence that contrasted with the insecurity Harry felt inside.
"Harry," Draco said, his voice firm and clear. "We need to talk."
Harry felt his heart beat faster, as if each of Draco's words was a spell that trapped him in a whirlwind of emotions.
The tension in the air was palpable, as if the entire universe were holding its breath.
"About what?" Harry asked, trying to remain calm, even though his voice betrayed his nervousness.
Draco took a step forward, his gaze intense and determined.
"I've been thinking about us. About what we've been through together."
His eyes met Harry's those precious emerald eyes, and for a moment, the outside world disappeared.
It was as if time stood still, and only the two of them existed, in that suspended instant.
"I've been thinking about that too," Harry admitted, his voice trembling slightly, as if each word were a step into the unknown.
Draco took a deep breath, as if gathering courage.
"I feel like there's something between us that we can't ignore. It's as if... we're meant to be together, no matter what anyone else says."
Harry felt his heart race, each beat resonating with the truth of Draco's words.
The doubts that had tormented him began to fade, and the lyrics of the song flowed back into his memory. "I will love you until infinity."
"What if the world doesn't accept it?" Harry asked, his voice full of doubt, fearing the judgment of those who had always been in his life.
"I don't care what others think, because you are the reason I believe in destiny, you are my paradise," Draco replied, his gaze firm and determined.
Harry felt a surge of emotion. He approached Draco, feeling the warmth of his body, as if that closeness could dispel all his insecurities.
"What if this doesn't work?" he asked, his voice barely a whisper, as if he feared that simply uttering it could break the spell that bound them.
"There will always be challenges," Draco said, his voice full of conviction.
"But what I feel for you is stronger than any obstacle, I would do anything to be your love."
At that moment, Harry knew he could no longer deny what was in his heart.
He leaned forward, and their lips met in a soft but passionate kiss.
It was a kiss that spoke of everything they had been through, of their fears and their hopes, a kiss that sealed a silent pact between them.
When they parted, both were breathing heavily, their foreheads still touching, as if physical contact could anchor their souls in that moment.
"I will love you until infinity," Harry whispered, feeling that those words were more than a promise; they were a commitment, a bond that united them beyond words.
Draco smiled, his eyes shining with a mixture of joy and relief.
"And I you, Harry, always. I will love you infinitely."
From that moment on, they knew that their love was infinite, a bond that could not be broken, no matter the challenges they faced. In the immensity of the universe, they had found their place, side by side, ready to face anything life had in store.
And so, under the starry cloak of Hogwarts, Harry and Draco began their journey together, a journey that promised to be eternal.
In every star that shone in the sky, in every whisper of the wind, they knew that their love was a bond that transcended time and space, a love that no matter what, would last forever.
In that instant, they understood that infinity was not just an abstract concept, but a tangible feeling that united them, a love that defied expectations and that would flourish in every corner of their existence.
