    This was written many years ago, under the Ruth ID when I hadn’t read or reread many of the later books so my own view of these characters would often be different now. Joey actually is a lot more balanced in the books than in drabbles and the way she was discussed at the time on CBB.

    However I would be sad if they were lost if LGM went so am backing up here. Depression/Mental Illness depicted and maybe not in a way I would now - this was written many many years ago.
