“Officer Nakatsukasa, you’re assigned to interview the suspect since Chief Kanna is currently on a meeting with the GSC President.” A fellow officer of mine said as she opened the hallway towards the interrogation room.
“Ah! R- Right.” I replied as I walked towards the interrogation room where the so-called mastermind was. As I finally entered the interrogation room, I saw her smug face just looking straight at me. The room is equip with a one-way mirror… and a door that lets you enter the room itself…
“Osaki Yone. A dropout who last studied at Gehenna Academy before being expelled by the Head Prefect herself, is suspected to be behind the bombing of SCHALE tower.” I saw from the records written on the tablet in front of me…
“Osaki Yone, do you admit that-”
“Ugh! How many times do I have to tell you cops? I did do it.” She interrupted me. If this is so, then why hasn’t she been transported to actual prison yet and get the harshest punishment permitted by the law?
“Then why did you do it?” I asked. “And why did you do it to someone so nice ?”
“Ehh… I was bored.”
…what?
“You were… bored?” I asked once again, maybe my ears were playing tricks on me.
“Yes I was.” She answered, her tone sounded like she was bored. “I needed some explosions… some drama… and maybe I would’ve been entertained enough for about a week or so.”
“You were just bored?” I asked again. Even though I know that she would agree once again, I just wanted to be sure before…
“YES! And to do it to someone so beloved? Ah… even more so! I’m excit-”
“IS THAT IT?!” I yelled as I opened the door and pinned her to the wall. “Why?! Why?! Why did you do that to someone who wants nothing but happiness to his students?! To his friends?!”
Her face still had that smirk on it. “Aww… do you care about that useless guy so much-”
I dropped her from the wall and into the floor before bringing out my gun and immediatelly fired it towards her.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
…I would’ve fired more if I had more bullets inside.
“Ow… that hurt officer.” She said, but her face didn’t show a hint of being hurt or even a slight sense of remorse. “Was that the best you could do?”
I decided to not entertain her question and just left the room.
How could someone, especially a (former) student, be so violent? So cruel? So heartless? And have the guts to hurt Sensei?

I’ll make sure that this will never happen again, an officer’s main mission is to protect and serve as many people as possible… but they should serve justice as well, in any way necessary…
