Chapter 1: Authors Note
Summary:
This is the Authors Note where I add comments and updates on the work and also about Tsams lore or if I just want to update yall, not daily, but just whenever i feel like it's important to share, feel free to comment anything from critiques or advice on what i could implement into writing this all the way to just wishing me good luck
Chapter Text
General notes:
This entire ‘chapter’ is just an authors note right here, you can skip this if you want but it’s just some general things to keep in mind. And this also updates if I have a note to add, do check regularly for updates
First of all, this is a passion project that i will be doing on my own time and i do not mean to take credit, this entire story belongs to The Sun and Moon show.
I will not be writing episodes that do not contribute to lore, this includes gameplays, filler episodes, reaction videos AND behind the scenes, you'll need to go support them if you want to see those. They may be referred to briefly or mentioned at some points, including crossover episodes where they go to another channel, but overall won't be seen here.
If i skip an episode that you think i should add don't be scared to inform me about it and i'll go back to add it into here! Currently i am actually going back and trying to fix my lore episode playlist 😭🙏
All 'chapters' will be named after the video and have the link to it in the summary so you can find it easily!
This WILL take a long time to complete and as of writing this the story is still ongoing and is still uploading, and may it keep uploading many more. Do not rush me as this takes time and i want to make this high quality for everyone who will read this!
Tags will be added as i go along and i might actually need help with tagging this freaking show 💔💔💔
Chapters will come out exclusively every weekend on Friday night and Saturday night around 12-2AM EST, unless stated otherwise in recent notes. Like if i am not feeling too great then chapters will be delayed, I care about myself and you should also care for yourself, don't push yourself and have a good day! I'll update you whenever something like that happens though
Don't berate me about any of my projects from Cloudi_1st here, and don't berate any projects from here in Cloudi_1st!
8/22/25

So like call me delusional but in like recent episodes since Eclipse is back, what if he were to change his mind? About helping Solar? I mean yes Solar does have a band of people, but imagine it… two somewhat alike minds working to find the Overseer..
Like Eclipse goes and stumbles upon where Solar is staying and like is really sarcastic about it and is insisting he’s being forced to do it when in reality he’s doing it because he wants to.
It could also be for like the reason that he brought Solar back, but Ive never heard what the reason was if you guys know I’d really like to know why Eclipse brought Solar back.
9/19/25

Chapter 2: Montgomery Gator is the WORST Daycare ATTENDANT in VRCHAT
Summary:
Sun decided that since the release of the new channel that they needed some of their work to be eased a little bit by none other than Monty! Who wants.... Just a lot of money.
This episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0tU-BNFHKE&t=6s&pp=ygUubW9uZ29tZXJ5IGdhdG9yIGlzIHRoZSB3b3JzdCBkYXljYXJlIGF0dGVuZGVudA%3D%3D
Notes:
This took me way too long, I'm starting to rethink my choices here. This episode was barely 10 minutes- UGHHHHH I can just imagine what the much longer videos are gonna look like. AND IT'S MOSTLY JUST DIALOGUE!!! 😭😭I can already tell I'm in for a ride. I need a raise. It took me like 20 minutes to get through 1 minute of that episode. Why do I do these things to myself.💔
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
It had been around a week or two since Sun and Moon decided to start running a show, a Youtube channel of sorts, after they separated bodies and took their own. One where they played games and just had fun together, and then posted it onto the channel. Soon enough, they started having their daily lives get posted onto this channel.
Sun was humming a tune, trying to make their daycare clean by organizing all of the little plush blocks that were strewn about. The daycare was small but big enough for the kids to be able to play around, it even had a little balcony that had a golden statue of Moon, and a palm tree. Although it... probably wasn't made out of real gold anyway.
It was a very colorful place and had two ballpits, one had gold and white foam blocks and the other was an assortment of colored foam blocks.
"Sun!" Moon called out, looking around for his brother on the balcony of the daycare.
"Yes?" Sun replied, not stopping what he was doing.
"What are you doing?"
"I am organizing the daycare!" Sun answered with a matter-of-fact tone.
"Why?" Moon asked, coming down the balcony.
"Because!!! It's my job to do that!" Sun said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "To organize, keep things clean, nice and safe for the kids!"
"But it always gets... destroyed." Moon commented.
Sun looked at Moon, pausing for a moment before going right back to cleaning, "Destroyed? What do you mean destroyed? No it doesn't!" Sun continued, "Do you not see the nice symmetry here?" Sun pointed out the little building he made which was in fact symmetrical but apparently not finished.
"We have the stairs, we have the-" Sun looked down at a block he was holding and examined it, "What even is this called???"
Moon shrugged, "I don't know, bridge... Tunnel?"
"The bridge!" Sun placed it next to the symmetrical building that he was creating, "And we also have the half circle!!!" He placed it down and then turned back to face Moon with a smile, "Okay! What did you want to discuss though? You want to talk to me about something?"
"I was just wondering what you were doing, I could hear you humming across the Pizzaplex." Moon answered, crossing his arms.
"Of course! I'm just being my happy-go-lucky self like I usually am!" Sun smiled before getting back to cleaning up the daycare.
"It's infuriating." Moon growled.
"What do you mean infuriating?" Sun buffered, "Listen, if you don't like it you can go back to your room upstairs." He pointed at the castle design that was above the ballpit, where their room is.
Moon looked like he was fuming as he scowled at Sun.
Sun tried to calm him down, "Okay look, it's gonna be okay, I know we've been under a lot of stress lately with the release of the new channel and all that. So I decided that we could get a tiny bit of help! A wiiiii- a lot of help." He said.
Moon was skeptical as he raised an eyebrow, "From who?"
"Well, you see, he needs a place of work right now. So, I decided, 'Why not? I'm a friend of his, and he can help me in the future if I ever need help!'"
"WHO???" Moon asked again.
"All right, you know his golfing stuff isn't doing so well, so I just thought-" Sun started.
Moon groaned as he realized who Sun was talking about, "OH! Sun! Why Monty?!"
"Listen!!! He needs some money, he needs some help, so I just offered and he said yes. He's gonna come at some point!" Sun responded.
Moon knew how Monty was, "How much money did you offer him???"
"What?" Sun was occupied with cleaning still.
Moon repeated his question and Sun replied, "Oh more like he offered his services to me. I didn't offer the money but like... hired someone!"
"That requires money, Sun." Moon corrected.
"You're right. So, his charges are about a thousand per second!" Sun finally answered.
Moon was taken aback, "Excuse me?" He felt his anger rising as Sun continued.
"Yeah! A thousand per second, he said he's really good! He even showed me his daycare certificate! Or- You know!"
Moon was quiet for a moment, "I'm gonna blow a circuit."
"What do you mean you're gonna blow a circuit? It'll be fine! We'll both watch over him!" Sun reassured Moon.
"That's the thing Sun. Roxanne wants to talk to you." Moon reminded Sun.
"I forgot about that!" Sun replied, "So it's mainly gonna be you watching over Monty! Everything will be okay! He is a PROFESSIONAL!"
"THE ONLY THING MONTY KNOWS HOW TO DO PROFESSIONALLY IS BREAK EVERYTHING." Moon hissed.
Sun waved his hands around, "He's not an idiot! He simply makes a couple of questionable business decisions."
"No." Moon cut in, "He's an idiot."
"I already paid him." Sun said suddenly.
"I didn't give you access to the bank account."
Sun felt small, "It was just-"
"Where. Did you get. The money?" Moon pressed.
Sun was getting nervous, "I just- You know... Went to the bank... Asked for some money and they gave it to me, of course!!! Technically it's both of ours."
"Go talk to Roxanne. Before I hurt you." Moon growled, turning around and heading back up to the balcony.
"Brother, please!!! It'll be fine! Look at me!!! Look at me, please!! Brother! No!" Sun whined.
"Go. Talk. To Roxanne." Moon repeated himself.
"Okay, gotcha! Love ya, brother!" Sun walked out of the small daycare.
"I swear. One of these days I'm going to hurt him." He sighed, talking to himself, "Calm down Moon... Why Monty???"
As if summoned, a strong voice greeted him, "KNOCK KNOCK!!!"
Moon looked down from the balcony as Monty walked in with a confident stride, calling out to the room, "Where in the world is that smiley face?" He spotted the golden statue of Sun that was on the bottom floor, "Oh, there you are! How's it going, Sun? Why'd you turn gold all of a sudden? You there man???"
"Montgomery." Moon walked down the balcony to greet Monty.
"Oh! Hey there Moon! How's it going? You're doing great, aren't cha', pal?" He pointed at Suns statue, "What's wrong with Sun?" Monty spotted Moons statue on the balcony and tilted his head, "Did you get a clone of yourself?"
"Those are statues." Moon gritted through his teeth.
Monty nodded, "That makes a lot more sense."
"Sun is currently not here. So I'm in charge." Moon stated.
"Alright, you're in charge bossman. What exactly are we doing here then?" Monty asked, "I'm getting paid by the second after all."
Moon huffed, "I'm in a bad mood."
"I see that! Is there something I can do? Maybe a back rub?" Monty suggested.
"I'd prefer if you didn't touch me." Moon requested.
Monty put his hand on Moon's shoulder, his tongue sticking out, "Listen, buddy, it's gonna be alright. Okay? You can trust your ol’ Montgomery gator uncle figure."
"Put your tongue away." Moon swiped Monty's hand off.
Monty walked over to one of the barrel towers that Sun had put in a neat stack and took one off of it, waving it around.
"What about this thing though? " Monty was curious, "I can't touch any of these but I'll clean that up." He tossed the barrel into the foam pit where it would probably never be seen again.
Then he went and tossed the other two, "I don't know where to put these things. I think just in there is fine, I mean the kids like playing in there anyway."
"You know what?" Moon asked rhetorically, getting an idea, "Do whatever you want."
"Whatever I want?" Monty spun around to look at Moon, "Ohhh that's a lot of power you're giving me. You sure?"
"Toss stuff around. Do whatever you want." Moon reassured, "Sun didn't tell me about how much he was paying you. So frankly if you mess up the place he cleaned, I don't care."
Monty instantly went around the daycare tossing around all of the things that were set up nicely and making a mess out of the now once neat daycare. Things were being strewn around everywhere and Moon went onto the balcony to watch.
Monty looked up, "The first tactic was to make this daycare void of any toys. Now my next tactic is to give all the kids Monty Gator golf memberships. But we charge them all and give them contracts to sign and everything."
Moon's interested seemed piqued, "How much?"
"It wont matter they can't read anyway! And once I'm done I'll be swimming in money again!" Monty promised, "Back on top! Back on business again! By the way it's not gonna benefit you at all." He cleared up any misconceptions, "You're only gonna get one percent of it."
Moon instantly wasn't on board with the plan anymore, "Get out."
Monty was confused, "What do you mean get out??"
"I need you... to go to the kitchen and get the kids their snacks." Moon didn't explain any further, he really didn't have the need to anyway.
"I thought I was in charge here Moon." Monty challenged, getting in Moons face, "Not you. I mean, not to be 'that guy' but your words. You said, I'm in charge."
"I said I'm in charge." Moon said, Monty didn't reply and just bopped Moon's nose which confused Moon, "Did you just poke me!?"
"Yes." Monty said with a proud tone.
"Go get the food." Moon ordered.
Monty sighed, "I can't be responsible for anything nowadays! First, I get fired from bar tending, and now this!" He complained, "I can't even make my own decisions while I'm running my daycare!"
"Go get the food before I hurt you!" Moon repeated himself more firmly.
"Get the food!" Monty mocked, "Am I just the waiter around here?"
"I didn't hire you!" Moon argued.
"You're right, but your other half did!" Monty retorted.
"He's not the same half as me!" Moon said exasperatedly.
"You were once!" Monty shot back before making his exit, "Fine! I'll go get your snacks and your treats! And whatever! I'll be the 'good one' in this relationship!"
"GET OUT!" Moon snarled and Monty finally obliged, "Both of them are gonna give me a heart attack... I don't even have a heart!"
Sun then walked in, vibing to the daycare theme song that he was scatting. Moon watched him walk in.
"Hi, Sun." Moon said, sounding irritated.
"Hey!" Sun greeted, meeting Moon up on the balcony before noticing all of the blocks and barrels were up there in a cluster, "Hey... What happened here!?"
"Your new employee happened." Moon snarked, "Have fun cleaning."
"NO No no no no, wait wait." Sun walked up to Moon, "What happened??? Why? I thought he was a professional! My cleanliness! I have to spend five minutes on this now!" He said in despair as he started tossing all of it back down onto the bottom floor for him to clean and organize again, "I can fix this! HELP ME PLEASE!"
Moon just stared at Sun silently.
"Moon! Please stop staring at me like that!" Sun pleaded.
"I'm not gonna help you! You made me lose my last straw, you're lucky I'm not gonna strangle you!" Moon said angrily.
"You can't strangle me! We don't breathe!" Sun stated logically.
"I don't need you to stop breathing to strangle you." Moon threatened, walking closer to Sun.
"OKAY okay! Let's negotiate here!" Sun waved his hands about before gesturing out to the small daycare, "You help me organize and- uh." He started singing the daycare tune again as he flung himself over the balcony's ledge and ran for the door as his singing got more quick.
Moon walked over to the blocks that were still on the balcony and he started tossing them down like Sun had asked.
"I'm sorry!!!" Sun called out.
"No you're not." Moon said as he got the last of them down.
"I am sorry!" Sun promised, "Please! Accept my apology, my dear brother! My other half! My other amigo!" He walked back into the daycare.
"I don't have a choice." Moon stated as he went down to meet Sun, "We work together. We live in the same place. I don't. Have. A choice."
"I feel like you have a choice!" Sun offered, "You could go to Chuck E Cheese!"
"You're telling me to downgrade."
"I don't know what you want from me!" Sun frowned.
"You're saying I'm as good as a Chuck E Cheese animatronic! Is that what you're saying brother??" Moon claimed getting into Sun's face.
"NO! No I'm not!" Sun defended himself, "Chuck E Cheese was the first, you know, like a classic! Classics I swear!"
"Start organizing." Moon ordered.
"Okay! We shall do this together! Or- or just by myself? By myself!" Sun answered his own question by the look Moon gave him.
"Just you." Moon proved Sun correct before he walked back up to the balcony while Sun quickly got to cleaning again, trying to make the place look like it had earlier in the day, before Monty had arrived.
Notes:
also... the foreshadowing????? Omg looking back on these episodes is crazy crazy.

Chapter Text
Moon walked along a dark gray hallway, there were bright florescent lights above him and a door at the end of the hallway that he approached.
"This place is so bright..." Moon complained, "Where are we? Tell me anything."
Moon knocked on the door as he finally got to it, "Sun?"
"BROTHER!" Suns high voice called out, " Come on in, the doors unlocked!"
Moon obliged and walked in, looking around the futuristic room that he just entered.
"HELLO!!!" Sun greeted, "You like it? I think it was a great view!"
The room was small, tall, and harbored a giant window that opened out into outer space. It was almost breathtaking. The sky was a nebula of colors, purple, blue, a very dark lavender, and there was a cloudy blue planet that was gigantic. The planet looked like it was having a storm, lighting striking everywhere on it in giant clusters.
Sun was sitting in front of a large tv on a long gray couch that had white pillows along it. Behind the couch was a kitchen that had a refrigerator and hanging lamps. Next to it was a white table that held four chairs. The wall above the kitchen sink was made of white tiles and the floor of the whole room had gray wooden floorboards.
"How did you buy this?" Moon asked with awe.
"The channels been doing amazing!" Sun answered happily, "So, I decided to buy us an apartment in space!"
"How did i get up here and not know?" Moon looked at Sun skeptically.
"There's this thing called a Cryo Chamber!!" Sun smiled, "Or a Cyro elevator now!"
Moon looked back out at the nebula and at the giant blue planet, "That's not Earth." He observed.
"No, it's not!"
"Where are we???"
"I have no idea." Sun admitted, "But it looks pretty! Look," He got up and pointed out at the nebula, "That over there is a... Thing! Stars!"
"Yeah that's a nebula galaxy..." Moon informed.
"Oh! Neat!" Sun chirped and then looked at the planet, "I think it's having a hurricane problem."
"It's probably a gas giant, I don't think that's storms, I think that's literally gas exploding." Moon theorized, looking closely at the planet.
"Cool, I think i get it." Sun shrugged, "But come along, I need to show you something-" He walked towards a set of stars that were suspended in the air on a pole and then paused, "Oh wait! Are you thirsty?"
"Uhm... I don't eat or drink." Moon stated.
"It's okay!! I know, I know." Sun replied, "I don't either! But, I was thinking I could maybe start trying it!" He quickly walked over to the kitchen and picked up some condiments that were on the counter, "I don't know what these do."
Moon instantly went over to Sun, "No, no." Moon warned.
Sun tried opening the bottle and Moon fought him over it telling him to stop and Moon finally grabbed it out of Sun's hands and then put it down back where it was before.
"Why???" Sun asked before going to grab another bottle, "Look, I made two of everything just for us!"
"That would make us rust." Moon said, frowning at Sun.
"If Freddy and the others can drink I think maybe we can too!" Sun tried to persuade Moon into drinking with him, "We can give it a test!"
Moon sighed and picked up one of the drinks, handing it to Sun, "Fine."
Sun took it with a smile, "Thank you!" He quickly took a swig of the drink and Moon did too, "I don't know how to feel after that..."
Moon looked blankly at Sun, "I feel it sloshing."
"Oh, wonderful. Anyways we'll head back to the drinks later! Let me show you around my apartment here!" He gestured over to the large window, "As you can see, I have a state of the arts window! Come on, I wanna show you the upstairs!" Then he brought Moon upstairs.
Upstairs, the ground was made up of white tiles, there was a black shelf and a bed for two as well as a desk with a monitor and a double computer.
"Up here, I have a wonderful setup! I was thinking I should move out anyways cause I know you're struggling." Sun instantly backpedaled, waving his hands around, "I meant so you have your own space-"
"Keep talking." Moon seemed intrigued.
"Okay!" Sun went over to the shelf and gestured to the series of books that was there, "Here's my fine collection of very tiny books with a very tiny record player and a plushy ditto!"
"I like ditto." Moon pet it.
"Thank you!" Sun tossed it up in the air and it stayed up on the ceiling, not coming down, "It floats for some reason! I don't know how it happens! I can't reach him."
Moon stared at it with shock and then brought it down.
"Oh! Thank you!" Sun then went over to the bed and jumped onto it, "And this is where I sleep! This is my place! Do you like it?"
Moon looked around again, "Yeah." He said with approval, "But I will ask one question. How much did it cost."
Sun blinked, "So. I'm not paying rent because it's hard to pay rent from here. But like are you talking about just flat rates or a flat cost?? And all that?"
"Yes." Moon clarified.
"It was in the grand park of around uhm... 10... Million?" Sun answered nervously.
Moon was at a loss for words. Once again, where did Sun find this money.
"Look you wanted your space!! I didn't know what to do!! I knew you wanted it! I knew you hated me! I know you don't like me!"
"Brother. Brother, I say I don't like you as a joke." Moon replied.
Sun was silent for a moment, "oh."
"I didn't mean I wanted my own house. I wanted my own room.." Moon growled.
"You have your own room now!" Sun smiled.
"We are going to refund this." Moon narrowed his eyes at Sun, irritated by this guys antics.
"We can't refund it, I already put down a deductible!!!" Sun exclaimed.
"Brother, we are going to have no money."
"What do you mean no money?? It's only 50,000 a month. It's fine!" Sun promised, "I took out a loan out of the bank, obviously, because we don't have 10 million dollars... But by the way the channels doing we'll do great!"
Moon was staring at two little buttons in the corner of the room, "Why does your room have a mirror button?"
Sun went and pressed it and a mirror spontaneously appeared, "I like seeing myself in the morning! I want to know if I look good!"
Moon stared at himself for a minute and then turned to go downstairs, "I'm gonna blow a gasket."
"What even is the morning now? I'm in space!" Sun put his hands out, "Is this morning? Or is it night? I don't get it!" He saw Moon walking down the stairs and followed, "Moon, what's wrong?"
"I bought us a place. Already." Moon revealed.
"WHEN?" Sun was shocked.
"I don't know when you bought this!" Moon gestured to the whole apartment.
"I didn't tell you how much it cost. It's like 50'00 for just the place. But like the cost of living here... You don't need to know the cost of that!"
"You know what? I'll handle getting the money." Moon promised.
Sun pointed at moon with both hands, "Okay, let me get the person that's in charge of that."
"Okay, sure."
"They're not that far away! He promised me top notch deals!" Sun left the apartment.
Moon turned and looked out the window, being left with his own thoughts, "He bought a space apartment. I'm gonna lose it."
As if comical timing, a familar grating voice came from behind him...
"Oh, hey there!" Monty greeted chipperly.
"No..." Moon whispered in dismay before turning around to see the green gator standing at the door.
"How's it going there Moon? You look fantastic. You like my little empire here?" Monty asked.
"This is what you did after you got kicked out of the Pizzaplex?" Moon asked with an unamused tone.
"I did that, plus more." Monty answered, "It's all alright. See? I'm making moolah here, straight cash. You wanna know why? Because the tenants up here they got fake glass." He explained, "If they so much as scratch it, they'll just shoot on out. And I'll get to keep the money and resell this whole place again."
"Montgomery." Moon growled.
"What?"
"My brother."
"Yeah? What about him?"
"He bought a one bedroom apartment."
"Yep."
"For the two of us."
"I'll need to increase the rent then." Monty said thoughtfully.
"Here's the thing Montgomery. You're going to hand me back every. Single. Penny. Or I am going to dismantle you." Moon threatened.
"Hey hey hey, chill." Monty put his hands out defensively, "Look, money's already gone through, he's paid for the first month, I'm doing fantastic."
"Monty, I'm gonna cut you a deal." Moon spoke as they both went over to the kitchen, "My brother is unaware of this currently, but I am working on something. Something that could be extremely... profitable." Monty was nodding along with Moon's words as he continued, "And I know how you like your money."
"I do like my money when it works out."
"To do this, I'm gonna need back the money my brother spent. But I can pay you back twice fold." Moon promised.
"There's a lot of trust that's gonna have to go into this... How do I know I can believe you? Hm?" Monty asked skeptically, "I mean, I'm the business expert here, I ran the successful-" He paused, "I'M SUCCESSFUL NOW!! IN THIS PLACE!!"
"Would you be successful if I went and told every person that lives in this building that their glass would shatter at the touch of a fly?" Moon blackmailed.
Monty was messing with the condiments, "That's where plan D comes in, where I kill everybody in this place. But, I do like the tenants here." He turned to face Moon, "You know what? You got yourself a deal there Moony. Although, I don't like you whatsoever, I completely hate you."
"Whatever. Here's the thing, now, when I do this, you will have first access, and the sales profit. They will be brand new, untouchable things that no one has ever sold." Moon explained.
"Are you saying we can get a monopoly over this?" Monty asked, his tail practically wagging, "I'm all for shady business practices! All right, let's do this! I'll send you a check! You can tell your brother he's out of it though."
Moon shrugged, "Easy enough."
"Alright, perfect! I'm gonna go kick out your brother now!" Monty quickly walked out the door.
"Well, I'm going upstairs." Moon said, already halfway up, "I really hope this project works out..."
"WHAT DID YOU DO???" Sun exclaimed in despair, getting up the stairs to confront Moon, "I'm homeless now!!!"
"No you're not." Moon replied simply.
"Yes I am! Where am I gonna live???" Sun was freaking out.
"Sun. Sun!" Moon tried to get his attention.
"What!? What?? Where am I gonna live? Tell me!"
"I already told you, remember? I already bought a place for the both of us."
"Oh, I might've forgot that."
"We have our own rooms, a kitchen, and a dining area. And, I have stuff for my project."
"What project???" Sun looked at Moon curiously.
"In time, I will need your help with something. Can I rely on you to help with it?" Moon asked.
Sun pouted, "Fine. I'll help you in any way I can. But I gotta move out now?? What am I gonna do with the dittos!?"
"I'll take one." Moon answered.
"Oh fantastic." Sun was a little relieved, the ditto was the most important thing in that apartment, next to the computer which Sun asked about next, "What about this 1970's computer that Montgomery sold me for 500,000 dollars?"
Moon paused what he was doing, "He what?"
"He sold me this computer for as I said! 500,000 dollars!" Sun repeated.
"I'm going to kill that gator." Moon growled.
Notes:
70,000 things happen in the span of like 30 seconds it's crazy
And also yes Moon really was a bad person back when the show was first starting.

Chapter Text
Moon walked into the bright and colorful daycare, looking for Sun. He wasn't at their house, so surely he must be in the daycare.
"Sun! SUN!" Moon called out, looking around the upgraded daycare that was now fit with big play structures and an even larger space, but the barrels were also still there too, stacked nicely, "He must be on top of one of these..." Moon thought as he climbed the structure.
He spotted Sun... Playing with two plushies next to two barrels. One was Roxanne and the other was Moon.
Sun picked up Moon's plushy and started talking for him, "Oh, yes brother, you're so successful!! Good job for getting Roxanne." Clearly the plushie was supposed to be referring to Sun.
Then Sun picked up Roxanne's plushy and started to talk for her, "Oh yes, you're so hot and pretty and yeah so I thought you could kiss me all day!"
Moon spoke up, "This is just sad."
Sun instantly freaked out and shoved everything away, tossing the plushies and barrels everywhere, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?"
Moon repeated himself, "That is the saddest thing I've seen you do."
"There's nothing sad, okay!? Nothing happened!" Sun defended himself, still feeling a bit flustered from being caught, "I was just... Cleaning the dolls here!"
"I'm not that dumb. I'm letting it slide because this is just getting pathetic..." Moon told Sun.
"There's nothing pathetic, I was just cleaning the dolls!!" Sun claimed.
"I know you like Roxanne." Moon crossed his arms, it wasn't really a secret.
"What do you mean?? Well- Yeah, Roxanne's a cool person, obviously, but it's not like that!!!"
"Brother. I clean your room when you're out. I've seen what you hide in your room."
Sun laughed nervously, "What are you talking about??? Whatever's in there I hide in a completely secret area!"
"Yeah, that I built." Moon raised an eyebrow, "I don't care if you like Roxanne. But that was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen."
Sun dropped the act, "Well what else am I supposed to do!? I don't get any approval from you! Like ever! Or anything I do! I can't get Roxanne! I can't get anybody!!!" Sun ranted, waving his hands around to further exaggerate his situation.
"Have you tried?" Moon asked.
"Funtime Freddy can get a date with anybody he wants to, but he's an idiot!!!" Sun disregarded Moons question.
Moon asked again once Sun was finished, "Have you tried getting a date with Roxanne?"
"Of course I have!" Sun said sarcastically, "Why wouldn't I get a date with Roxanne? Of course I've tried! You know, I've just been busy!!"
"Brother, here's the thing. You're a completely valid animatronic. No one can dismiss you. What you do is very important." Moon started.
"Yes it is." Sun acknowledged.
"First of all, there's your affirmation." Moon added, "Second of all, I know that you haven't asked her on a date."
"WHAT!? Why would you say that!? Of course I have!" Sun claimed.
"I still have a neural link to your head." Moon said.
"Why do you still have the neural link???" Sun asked defeatedly.
"I installed it after the whole Monty incident."
"When?"
"You're a sound sleeper."
"OKAY, YEAH! FINE! I haven't asked Roxanne on a date!" Sun admitted.
"Why?" Moon asked curiously.
"What do you mean 'why???' Have you not seen her!?" Sun ran around on top of the play structure trying to find her doll, "Where'd the doll go? Oh it's on the other side of the daycare. I see it down there."
"Let's get down." Moon said, jumping down after Sun, "Okay, you just need to shoot your shot."
"I don't know what you mean by 'shoot your shot'." Sun replied, "Roxanne's too much of a rockstar to be with someone like me!" Sun put up the 'I love you' hand gestures.
"What's wrong with you?" Moon prompted.
"WHAT!? Are you kidding??? Look at me!" Sun gestured to himself and then held out his wrists, "I have these stupid ribbon things on me all the time! I dress weirdly, I literally can't take these shoes off! They're glued to our feet by the way!!" He pointed at his orange and yellow stripped pants and his pointy shoes.
"AND THEN I'VE GOT THESE STUPID FACE THINGS!! So if she ever wants to lay her head on my shoulder she'd be poking her head into these- these things!!" Sun pointed to his rays.
"We're robots, that's kind of a part of us. Roxanne's hair isn't the softest thing around." Moon made a point.
"Yes it is!! I mean- sure I can't feel it but it looks soft!"
"It's bristle!"
"What am I good for?"
Moon was confused, "You're.. Good with kids. You are a good person."
"THAT'S the thing Moon, I can't do ANYTHING ELSE!" Sun exclaimed, knocking over the nicely stacked barrels, but one stayed in the air, "Besides making that thing float in place!!" Then he stalked off to one of the plastic castles.
"Well, that's impressive." Moon commented.
"I don't know anything else I can do. Why would she say yes to me?" Sun sounded dejected, "Why would Roxanne the QUEEN of beauty accept me for anything? Again, the whole rocker thing she's got going???"
"She clearly cares about you because she's asked you to come do fashion multiple times."
"It might be because of my fashion choices, that I'm kinda forced to wear, but still!"
"That means that she cares about you to some extent."
"Well how do I get her then??" Sun asked dumbfoundedly.
"I don't know, if it wasn't apparently obvious I don't understand attraction and affection." Moon stated.
"I think I've GATHERED THAT ALREADY!" Sun hissed.
"Yeah, I'm Aroace."
Sun pointed at Moon, "COOL. That's cool. I just don't know how that helps this!!"
"It was a very odd thing when you suggested to Glamrock Freddy to go on date."
Sun talked over Moon, "I'll be honest, I kinda figured out until afterwards!"
"So you should've cancelled that!!!"
"I didn't know what to do!" He said, walking into the colorful ballpit, "I mean, it's already planned out! It's Roxanne, maybe!"
"What? Brother.."
"He said he had somebody in mind. I think I already know who. Baby's already too interested in him, and then Glamrock Chica's doing other things... And then... The only choice is Roxanne."
"You know I just won't go, right?"
"But you have to go!" Sun pleaded, "Otherwise I'll look like an idiot! I'll feel like such an idiot! I planned this whole thing and I asked him to do that and now I just don't know what to do!! I think it's Roxanne anyways... I don't know, there's just too many things- Variables!!" Sun was actively stressing.
"Okay, brother, sit down."
"Okay." Sun obliged.
Moon sat down in front of Sun, in the ballpit, "You are a great animatronic, you have a lot of worth and whether or not somebody chooses to go out with you is completely objective, it has no actual worth to you as a person." He spoke wise words, "If they are too blind and stupid to realize how good of a person you are and how much you can give them, then they are not worth it."
"Roxanne looks amazing and she has a great personality..." Sun replied, taking Moon's words into account.
"So there's things you like about her, yes, but are you going to completely ruin your life if she says no?" Moon asked rhetorically, "Are you gonna stop working here, stop taking care of the kids?"
"No, I mean, I like this kids and helping this kids and all that!" Sun replied.
"Exactly! She doesn't control what you do with your life, she's just something that you can add to it. And there's lots of other people that can be added to your life." Moon continued, "Other animatronics get made everyday, new ones, old ones, you'll find someone! You just gotta give it time."
Sun nodded.
"And maybe I might find someone too, but I don't see it as Roxanne." Moon shrugged.
"What's wrong with Roxanne??" Sun was slightly taken aback, who couldn't love the self centered, bold, and absolutely amazing Roxanne?
"They're not my type." Moon said simply.
"You probably like the more dark and brooding type anyways." Sun rolled his eyes.
"No..."
"Oh. That was a guess to be honest..."
"I'd just prefer someone.. A little quieter and a little less pretentious."
"So, could you help me with Roxanne then, maybe?" Sun tiptoed to the question.
"All you had to do was ask really." Moon answered.
"YES!" Sun cheered, "I'm not gonna lie, I thought you'd just make fun of me the entire time!!"
"Oh I'm gonna admit, watching you struggle to have done this has been extremely hilarious!"
"Why!?"
"But, now it's just getting sad."
"Okay- So, what- First step! What do I do to impress Roxanne!? Or I guess anyone interesting..."
"Brother, all you have to be is be you. Don't act like somebody else because if you do that then they're not falling in love with you they're falling in love with the personality you put on." Moon advised.
"You're right! I'll be myself! I'll be CONFIDENT in everything I do!" Sun promised himself and Moon.
"And if thy don't like you for you, you move on, they're not the one." Moon added, "It might hurt for a little bit, but I'm here to help you, and maybe we could go to a dimension and kill some stuff.
"Okay, okay... Oh yeah there's also one other thing I wanted to talk about I guess." Sun said.
"Okay?" Moon prompted.
"I've been feeling more murderous!" Sun said, there wasn't a hint of concern in his voice, it was as if it was the most normal thing ever...
"Yeah- I need to look at your ai."
"You sure?? There's nothing bad in my head do you think, right??"
"No, the thing is when-" Moon tried to move behind Sun to try and check his brother's systems but Sun wouldn't stop moving, "Let me-" He finally got Sun to stop moving and checked Sun's systems as he explained, "When we had our bodies transferred, there was a very possible chance.. That some of my programing got stuck in you."
"AND??"
Moon finished checking up on Sun, "Yeah, there's a couple lines of code. There's a reason I've been relatively.. 'toned down' in comparison to how I used to be."
"I know..." Sun grumbled.
"Now i just want to hit you with a stick, not a knife." Moon shrugged.
"I don't know if that's much better..." Sun replied.
"You've got the murder bit of my code. If you plan on dating someone we should get rid of that."
"How do we do that???" Sun wanted to know.
"We gotta go back to the house for that." Moon said, there he could use his tools to fix Sun. Maybe...
"Okay... let's go back t the home!" Sun didn't want murderous code in him for longer than he needed, "I'm sorry for making you worry."
"It's fine, just next time at least message me." Moon said.
"I will, promise." Sun nodded.
"Cause I was expecting you back at the house to sleep and then an extra three hours passed." Moon crossed his arms.
"It wont happen a second time, I swear."
"If it does I'm gonna beat you." Moon threatened.
"I know..."
"I only do it because I love you."
"Can we go back home now???"
Moon shook his head, "Ugh, that felt weird to say." He said as he started to walk to the exit of the daycare to return back home.
"YOU'RE LEARNING!!!" Sun said proudly, following Moon, "Congratulations!"
"I don't wanna learn..."
"You're learning to love!! Accept it into your heart!! Love will guide you to MANY things brother! Happiness, hope! Mainly happiness!"
"Oh, brother, I can't just delete that code in your head." He revealed.
Sun was a bit nervous from that... Could that cause problems? Well, surely not... Right? "I- Uhm.. Okay... okay."
"I'll think of something." Moon promised.
"Okay, brother! I'll be right behind you!" Sun said chipperly as they walked out of the daycare.

Chapter Text
It was a nice night for a date. The rain pattering outside as two individuals stepped inside the nicely lit building. The walls were made of wood boards that were shades of dark brown and beige.
Sun was happy about this, he turned over to Moon who was tagging along and then chirped happily, "Here we are brother! I have no idea what this restaurant is called!"
Moon looked around the establishment, there was a glowing sign that said OPEN and in the lobby room that they were in there was another sign with a black cat's face and words under it spelling, "BLACK CAT".
Moon blinked, "Black Cat?"
Sun looked, "Well, I should've just looked at the logo. Anyways this is the place were we should be meeting Roxanne!!~" Sun sang her name, "And, yeah! For the date thing! And I'll be there and it'll be good!"
"Right then... You're sure you're okay with this?" Moon asked, walking further into the building.
"Sure I am! I mean why would I be jealous of Freddy? You know, he does whatever he wants!" Sun answered, "And he decided to choose Roxanne for some reason... But still!"
"I don't know why Freddy would think me and Roxanne would get along..." Moon sighed.
"I did tell Roxanne a bit about you! I mean, you're my brother and such. I promise if you don't like it we could just leave!" Sun promised.
"What do we do if you don't like it?" Moon glanced over at Sun.
"What do you mean?? Of course I'll like it, it's fine!! It's Roxanne wolf!"
"Brother. One, you have a programming error, and two, this entire situation." Moon gestured to the place around them, "Are you sure?"
"I'm certain! Let's rock and roll brother!" Sun put up the 'I love you' signals up again to ease the mood.
"Alright, moving on." Moon walked over to the main place.
Sun followed him over. The place looked like a five star diner, but it was clearly just a well kept bar. There were booths fit with white chairs and a table in the middle of them on each side of the room. In the middle of the room was a circle table, or the bar, fit with individual chairs lining it.
The small bar was fit with a short waterfall that was constantly flowing. The room also had a staircase leading to another room upstairs and beside the staircase was a tiny stage, most likely for karaoke nights for the people who get a little too drunk.
And in fact, next to it was Gregory, a small child who wore kaki shorts and a blue shirt. Sun and Moon had met that one before.
"Is that Gregory?" Sun wanted to confirm.
But before Moon could answer, spotlights came from the stage and with it, a smooth voice.
"Introducing, the one, and only, Roxanne wolf."
Out from the curtains appeared a grey wolf animatronic, she wore a red bra and shorts and purple and black tiger-striped leg and arm warmers. Her hair was white and had a green whisp in it and she also had purple eyeshadow along with piercings on her ears.
"There she issss..." Sun actively started to short circuit just from her appearance.
Roxanne didn't seem to notice them, "Gregory! You were supposed to cheer!" She exclaimed, "You are, after all, the only one here.."
Moon and Sun walked up to her, "No he's not."
Roxanne's ears perked up when she heard Moon and she hopped off the stage and went up to the two brothers, "Hello, I see! Welcome, welcome. Are you ready for our little... date, Moon?"
Gregory looked confused, "Wait- What??"
"Oh! Right, Gregory, I forgot to tell you. We're here because I was invited to go on a date with Moon. Setup by our friend, Glamrock Freddy!" She explained before turning back to Sun and Moon, "I'm sure you're really excited, aren't you? To have the honor of going on a date with me." She smiled proudly.
Gregory crossed his arms, "I'm just surprised anyone wanted to go on a date with you anyways."
Sun narrowed his eyes are Gregory, "WATCH YOUR MOUTH!"
"Why thank you Sun." Roxanne smiled at him, "I didn't know you were tagging along today?"
"I was just coming along to help Moon with whatever!" Sun replied, "I mean- As I'm sure, you've noticed that the bar's completely empty! I book all the seats!"
Moon quickly turned to look at Sun, "How much did that cost out of our account?"
"The- The restaurants pretty expensive and uh.." Sun was about to answer.
"I always appreciate a man with deep wallets. Or is it copious?" Roxanne commented.
"Anything for you..." Sun said dreamily.
"I'm sure you'd like either of them Roxanne." Gregory said.
"Very much so." Roxanne agreed before turning back to Sun, "But, since you're here and, of course, you're a daycare attendant, I'm sure you wouldn't mind taking care of little Gregory for me?" She asked for a favor, "It's awful, being a single mother these days..."
"Mother?!" Sun and Moon asked at the same time.
"Well, I guess I'm not a mother..." She looked over to Gregory, "More of a babysitter."
"A BABYSITTER!?" Gregory exclaimed.
"Oh, it's okay, I'm used to handling children all day long! I've handled you at least one time before." Sun said chipperly.
"You I'm okay with." Gregory said to Sun before turning to Moon, "You on the other hand..."
Moon crouched down, smiling smugly, "Hi."
Sun tapped the back of Moon's head and Moon stood back up, "He's fine, he's changed! He's... More scientific!"
"And separated." Moon added.
Roxanne went up to Moon, "Great, well, do you want to find a seat?"
Sun put his hands out in a grandiose manner, "Literally take any of them! The whole place is booked!"
Roxanne nodded, looking around as if she just realized the place existed, "I guess that's a good point. Where would you like to sit?"
Moon went over to a corner of the place, "Over here I guess, booth."
Roxanne followed, "Oh, perfect."
"And I will take Gregory anywhere else I guess." Sun stayed behind with the kid but then quickly went over to Roxanne's booth, "Whatever you guys need just let me know and I'll get it for you, I promise!"
"Well, I am.. Quite hungry." Roxanne said before looking to Moon who was across from her in the table, "What about you?"
"Uh. You go ahead and eat I'm not too hungry." Moon replied.
Roxanne turned to Sun, "I'll take whatever the finest meal here is."
"I'll certainty find out!" Sun eagerly went to the bar with Gregory to try to find anything.
"Did you pay off the workers?" Moon asked.
"YES I wanted complete silence!" Sun answered as if it was the obvious thing to do, "Just give me a second, I'll make something!"
Roxanne started to talk to Moon, "Anyways, I was really excited when I found out about this little date. You are so mysterious after all."
Moon didn't know how to reply to that, "Uhm.. Thanks?"
"So, what would you like to talk about?" Roxanne prompted, "What are your hobbies I suppose?"
Then Sun and Gregory came walking over, "I brought pancakes!" Gregory exclaimed, setting them down, Sun did the same, "I did too! These were the only ones I could find that were pre-cooked! That've been out for like a day.. I just realized that." Sun quickly took them back up and took them away.
Roxanne shook her head, "As I was saying, do you have any hobbies?"
"Uhm.. Science.. The occasional murder.. Nothing too crazy.. You?" Moon answered.
"Well, I on the other hand, prefer to spend hours and hours just gazing at myself in the mirror, or scrolling on social media and seeing all the nice things people say about me.." Roxanne replied.
Sun went up to them, "DRINKS!!" He set them down, and then Gregory walked up to them.
"Slight issue, they only have pancakes at the bar." He said, setting down some pancakes, "They come with butter. I know how much you love butter Roxanne."
"Is that butter or bananas?" Moon wondered aloud.
"Either or." Roxanne shrugged, "Anyway, as I was saying, I prefer gazing at myself in the mirror, oh and of course, working on Roxy's raceway. I don't actually do any of the work. I kinda just go there and show my face, you know, publicity and influencing."
"What does Sun see in you?" Moon muttered under his breath.
"What do you do for work?" Roxanne prompted.
"Oh, I help Sun out with the daycare..."
Sun and Gregory came back in, holding what looked to be a duck that was actively trying to free itself from Sun's grasp, "HELP ME FLAY THIS DUCK!" He ordered Gregory.
"If you guys want to do that on the other side of the bar?" Roxanne shoed them off.
"Oh- Sure!" Sun went around the side with Gregory, "Get the kitchen knife!!"
Roxanne turned back to Moon, "Your brother is quite something, isn't he?"
"Yeah.. I would definitely call him the better half.." Moon admitted.
"I'm surprised! I thought you would have more confidence than that." Roxanne tilted her head.
"We both have our flaws but we're the same person." Moon shrugged.
"Fair enough. So, is it a buy one get one deal? Does he come with you?" Roxanne asked genuinely.
Suddenly the duck flew onto their table, squawking and flapping it's wings everywhere. Sun was right behind it, jumping onto it and wrestling it into his hands, "SORRY ABOUT THAT! HE FLEW AWAY!!" Sun apologized quickly before running back to the other side of the bar with the terrorized duck.
"I'm pretty sure that's a goose..." Roxanne commented.
"Isn't that illegal to cook?" Moon asked.
"I'm not sure... But you can clearly see the effort is there." She said, "Did you have any part in this wonderful planning?"
"No, that was actually all Sun. He wanted to impress you." Moon answered.
Sun ran around the circle bar chasing the goose that was fleeing.
"Why'd he want to impress me for a date I'm having with you?" Roxanne pressed.
Sun came back to the table and set down some more pancakes, "UHM Some complementary pancakes!!!" He said.
Moon stood up from his chair and tried to get Sun to follow him, "Sun, come here, let's talk for a minute."
"WHAT?? UH- Okay- We'll be right back!" Sun told Roxanne before following Moon to the other corner of the bar.
"What? What's going on? Is it going good?" Sun asked quickly, "I mean I figured out the duck thing."
"I have nothing in common with her, first of all." Moon hissed.
"What do you mean? Yeah you do! I mean, you have the.. hair.. that gets in her eyes every now and then and you want to push it away... but you never do.. because you're nervous about it.." Sun started projecting, talking in a faraway tone.
"That's all you. Second of all, I literally have no idea what to talk about. All I'm gonna be able to do is compliment you!" Moon jabbed a finger into Sun's chest.
"Well, I don't know why you would do that.." Sun pushed Moons finger off.
"Because you're the one who likes Roxanne." Moon explained, "Also, why'd you catch a goose???"
"I caught the goose to cook something because I had to cook something!!" Sun gestured over to the goose that had it's head under the running water of the small waterfall, "I literally waterboarded it!! It's dead now but I have no idea how to flay a duck!!"
"I don't even think it's legal to cook that!" Moon argued.
"YES It has to be!! It's a- It's a goose!?" Sun exclaimed.
"Yeah it's a goose. I don't think people eat goose."
"I don't know! I don't have the legal system in my head, brother, please!!"
"You know what? Fine." Moon turned to go back to Roxanne.
"She likes you more than me.." Sun told Moon.
Moon paused mid step and turned back to Sun, "Okay. I'm gonna stop you right there. Say that again and I will get more than a stick. I will grab that goose."
"But she likes dark and mysterious people!! And you're literally dark and mysterious! Minus the people part!"
"You took the entire effort of buying a restaurant to help feed her ego."
"And?"
"She likes being complemented and taken care of. That's literally what you're doing!!"
"Oh. Is that a problem?" Sun asked.
"She literally told me that her only hobby is basically standing in front of a mirror."
"She's beautiful." Sun said.
"Exactly. You're just giving her compliments. You feed her ego and she's gonna like you." Moon promised.
"I don't know if I'm good enough."
"That's it." Moon turned and walked up to Roxanne, "Hey Roxanne!"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Sun quickly followed Moon.
"Are you ready to get back to our date, Moon?" Roxanne asked.
"Actually, I think you'd get along a little bit better with Sun." Moon said.
"What?" Sun blinked.
"Oh really?" Roxanne sounded interested.
"Well, he's the one who set this all up.. He likes.. You and your hair." Moon added.
Roxanne looked at Sun, "Oh, everyone likes my hair of course. What do you like about it?"
Sun was flustered as he tried to formulate a response, "Just- Uh- Everything about it.. Just the way it's combed up almost all the time and the little green strap on your head that flows in the wind sometimes. It looks really cool..."
"So then.. What are you saying, Moon? You didn't want to be on this date with me?" Roxanne asked.
"No." Moon said bluntly.
"How dare you... You would've been honored to be on and continue a date with.. ROXANNE WOLF!" She was dejected.
"I'm not saying I dislike you by any means, I just don't have a type." Moon responded, "I'm not into dating."
Roxanne turned back to Sun, "But you are?"
"I mean.. A little yeah..." Sun answered nervously.
"So there's your buy one get one free deal." Moon nodded before walking away, Gregory tagging behind.
"Wha- WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?" Sun exclaimed.
"Leaving you two to talk! Come on Gregory lets go try find a knife."
"As great as this night has been, I feel like if we were to go on a date I wouldn't want it soiled by your brothers preferences. So what do you say we plan one ourselves?" Roxanne suggested to Sun.
"O-Oh- Yeah sure lets do that!!" Sun agreed.
"Maybe a place with less... Geese and pancakes.. And more just you and me of course." She smiled at Sun.
"I'd like that." Sun smiled back, "I uh- I looked at the menu by the way, they only have pancakes."
"Good to know. In the meantime, I'll leave you here to plan that and I'll see you whenever that happens."
"Yeah I'll do that.... haha.."
"Nice meeting you Sun." Roxanne bided her farewell before walking away.
"Nice meeting you too!" Sun said back.
"Come on Gregory, we're going home!" Roxanne called out as she left the building.
Moon went to Sun who put up a shaky thumbs up to Moon.
"How'd that go?" Moon asked, Sun didn't respond, "You're broken aren't you?"
Sun nodded.
"All right let's uh.. Let's get you back to the Bunker." Moon took Sun's hand and they both walked out of the restaurant.

Chapter Text
Moon walked through the Pizzaplex, searching for Sun. He must've been in the daycare like usual. Moon casually strolled into the daycare, glancing around to find his brother.
"Sun?" He called out, the giant play structures were a place Sun could be in, or even the office desk at the front where they check the kids in.
Moon walked further in, heading to the office desk, "Sun?" He spotted Sun standing next to the desk and that's when Moon noticed how lots of the things in the daycare had been strewn around.
Sun turned to look at Moon and smiled widely, holding a plushy of Moon, "Oh! Brother! How are you on this fine day? Or night?" He spoke in a formal tone, not in the usual excited high-pitched tone that he normally used, but still similar anyway.
Instantly Moon could tell something was up as he narrowed his eyes, "Okay... I can immediately tell that you're not Sun."
"Really? What could've given it away?? Of course I'm your brother!" Sun insisted, spinning around with the Moon plushy still in his hands, "I mean look at me!" He set it down onto the office desk, "Just so happy, as happy as can be! Right?"
"Very condescending unlike normal." Moon accused.
"Oh, condescending..." Sun spoke as if he was testing the word, "Why, I get that from you a little bit." He picked the Moon plush back up, "Considering the fact that we were in the same body and such.." He turned to Moon, the fake smile still plastering his face.
"This.. Charade has gone on long enough." Moon gestured to all of 'Sun', "Who. Are you?" He growled.
"Who am I?" 'Sun' echoed, petting Moons plushy, "Well, I am Sun! I am your brother! I am your GREATEST!! Friend... Right?" He hissed the word friend, tossing the plushy of Moon away, "I mean that's the way you always put it as."
Moon got closer to 'Sun', "I know someone else is in there and I know that someone else is in control..." He challenged.
'Sun' backed away from Moon and sauntered behind the desk, "There's always been two of you, one Sun and the other Moon, I've never really been able to come out until now. His head is always so.. Empty anyways." 'Sun' shrugged.
"Hey! Only I get to make fun of Sun." Moon hissed.
"I AM-" 'Sun' exploded but suddenly quieted down, "No.. No, calm down... I'm not angry! I'm understanding of it all." 'Sun' said as if he was simply changing personalities to his liking, then he walked back around the office desk and got right back into Moon's face, "You know Moon? I finally get you! You... Are an insecure little puppy with nothing else to do." He snarled.
Moon laughed at that, it was stupid really.
"Am I wrong?" 'Sun' asked smugly, Moon opened his mouth to speak but 'Sun' cut him off, "Oh, please don't say it, you know I'm not wrong." Then he walked over to a plushy of Monty that was laying on padded floor of the daycare.
He picked it up and examined it, "Montgomery Gator. Most idiotic person I know. Minus the obvious." He smirked, pointing at his head as he referred to the real Sun, then he pointed at Moon with Monty's plush, "But to him? He's still smarter than you."
Moon crossed his arms, "You done yet?"
"Not really." 'Sun' replied, "You know what the funny thing is Moon?" He tilted his head before throwing Monty's plushy across the daycare, "You were right about that code... The smallest portion of it.. It's just me now! For now anyways, don't worry, you haven't lost Sun yet!"
"What do you mean YET?" Moon was getting fed up by this imposter, threatening his brother so blatantly like this.
"I mean, well, I think I wanted to come into a bit of an agreement, if that makes sense for your stupid mind." 'Sun' offered.
"You don't know anything about me." Moon growled, getting into 'Sun's' face.
"Oh. I know... Everything... About you." 'Sun' replied coolly, "Because I... WE... Were always one."
Moon was taken aback, "What?"
"You think you can just leave a bit of you behind?" 'Sun' continued, "And not expect a little bit of consequences?"
Moon's eyes widened as he realized... the one in front of him was "My homicide code..." He breathed out.
"I'm right here!" 'Sun' said cheerfully, pointing at himself before laughing maniacally.
"How have you grown?? Are you a virus?" Moon hissed.
"How have I grown? Of course I've grown!" 'Sun' gestured to the place around him, "This whole show has been just great honestly."
"Are you a virus?" Moon repeated himself, "How are you more than just a line of code?" He wanted to know, he wanted to know how this was possible, how this thing was... A part of him before.
'Sun' scoffed, "No, I'm not a virus. I'm you."
"You're not me. I'm me."
"Can you say that one last time?" 'Sun' requested.
"I'm. Me." Moon growled.
"I remember... Everything we did together." 'Sun' reminiscence, "We chased Gregory. I remember exactly... Cause I was still with you! We chased them up and down the whole place! And then suddenly, the lights turned back on and Sun came out." He turned to look at Moon, "Oh the fun we could've had... but then someone had the bright idea to separate us. And now I've realized... I don't need you. I just need a body! And his is fantastic."
"Because of my upgrades..." Moon figured.
"Yup! Precisely... You want a name for me though?" 'Sun' asked.
"Who are you?" Moon prompted.
"People like to call me... Eclipse." He replied, "I think I'd like to go by that name. You know, the Sun, the Moon, that whole thing! ECLIPSE! Haha." Eclipse smiled wickedly at Moon, "I'm going to kill your brother."
"No you're not." Moon snarled.
"Really? What? You gonna punch me? Beat me to death?" Eclipse taunted.
"You forget I know how to program." Moon narrowed his eyes.
"You forget I know how to do that too. I'm you. Almost to the T! The only thing that's different between us two now is the fact that we're in different bodies!" Eclipse said smugly, "Watch this. You're really gonna hate this..." He said before seemingly just shutting down.
Then when he turned back on Sun yelped, "AH! Wha- Oh what happened??" He looked around, dumbfounded, he looked around, "Where am I? Why am I in the daycare all of a sudden?"
"Sun. Sun! SUN! SUN!!" Moon tried to get Sun's attention and when Sun finally looked at him he spoke, "That other AI that I told you about."
"Yes!" Sun remembered, the little line of code that Moon promised was harmless.
"It's aware. And it gave me it's name." Moon filled Sun in.
"It has a name??" Sun was confused.
"It calls itself Eclipse."
"Isn't an Eclipse when the Sun and the Moon..." Sun put his hands out to give an example.
"Yeah, because he's both of us. He's the perfect combination. He can put on your innocent facade and has my homicide and knowledge." Moon warned.
"Oh!" Sun said simply, then he started giggling, "Even you fell for that too."
Moon was shocked, there was no way he was so easily tricked like that, "Give me back my brother!"
"I can release him whenever I want." Eclipse reassured Moon, "But it seems as though you can't even tell the difference now, can you?"
Moon was getting agitated and Eclipse put his hands up, "Okay, this one's actually him. I promise. I just need some time to do some things and if you're gonna stop me before then, well, clearly one of us would be the superior Moon."
"You're not Moon." Moon growled.
Eclipse smiled maliciously, "You're right! I'm better... I'm far grander than you!" He pointed to his head, "Smarter too." He could see Moon getting angrier by the second, "Don't worry! You're gonna actually have him now."
"What if I give you your own body?" Moon suggested, trying to make a deal with this... Virus.
"My own body?" Eclipse echoed, "What's the point in that? I do like to have a little fun. And torturing you like this is fun enough for me!" He said cheerfully, "Now I'm gonna go into my... 'Slumber state'." He waved at Moon, "Bye. Me."
"ECLIPSE!" Moon snarled.
Eclipse fell to the ground, shutting off again, and then Sun woke up, looking around.
"Sun!" Moon exclaimed, "Brother, get up." He urged.
"Why are we back in the daycare?" Sun asked.
"I need you to get up!" Moon said more insistently.
"OKAY OKAY!!" Sun scrambled to get up, "I'm up!!"
"Are you okay??" Moon asked frantically.
"Yeah I'm okay..." Sun looked around, "Why are we in the daycare?"
"What's the last thing you remember??" Moon questioned.
Sun blinked, "We were playing uh... That stupid shopping list game that kept going on forever... And then after that we got the footage to the editor!" Sun answered.
"That was yesterday..." Moon breathed out.
Sun looked at Moon, "What?"
"That was yesterday..." Moon repeated himself, "It's been 24 whole hours.."
"Okay, I get it." Sun tried to calm Moon down.
"NO! You don't get it! Sun!" Moon started pacing the small section of the daycare that they were in, breathing quickly.
"I don't understand what you're trying to do! Is it bad?- Well, actually it is bad because I don't remember what happened in the last 24 hours."
Moon paused, "No, you don't know how bad this is.. This is so bad. This is the first time since we've existed that I've actually panicked!" He started hyperventilating again.
Sun noticed and went up to him, "Hey! Brother! It's alright!"
"No it's not! It's not alright!" Moon backed away from Sun as he approached, "GET AWAY!"
Sun was taken aback by the way Moon was acting but respected Moon's request, "What's wrong???"
"You're not you." Moon accused, "I don't know if it's even you anymore!"
"What do you mean?" Sun was confused.
"I told you there's some other AI in you... It impersonated you for 24 hours and I couldn't tell." Moon shook with fear, he felt like he couldn't trust his brother anymore, even if it really was his brother, who could tell?
"Brother... You're kind of scaring me right now." Sun said worriedly.
"I'm scared. For the first time. I'm scared. I can't protect you anymore..." Moon said darkly.
Sun walked up to Moon, "What does that mean??? You can just help me!" Sun pointed out.
"No! No... I can't. I can't because he's you and me... He's our Eclipse." Moon said, "He can be you whenever he wants while having my mind, my intellect, and my intent."
Sun processed what Moon was telling him and was concerned, "Am I in danger?"
"I don't know." Moon admitted, "He said something about making a deal. He's sleeping right now. But he wants you dead."
"WHY DOES HE WANT ME DEAD!?" Sun exclaimed, "WHAT DID I DO TO HIM???"
"He wants your body." Moon answered.
"WHY CAN'T WE JUST MAKE HIM ANOTHER BODY???" Sun was a little outraged by this.
"He doesn't want another body! He wants your body. People trust you. he wants to have his fun." Moon replied.
"Okay... Uh... Noted." Sun said, noticing Monty's plushy on the ground and picking it up.
"He's seen everything since we separated. He's been watching and growing. And I didn't see it SOONER!" Moon was getting irritated at himself.
"It's really okay..." Sun tossed the plushy aside, "I mean like, we can figure it out can't we?"
"I DON'T KNOW! There's a lot of firsts happening today and I don't know anymore." Moon gritted through his teeth, "It took so long and so much work just to figure out how to separate us. And now, because I did it, people are gonna think you're a danger. You could get decommissioned."
"What? No!" Sun yelped, "Look, lets think of a plan, okay? You said he's watching through my eyes right?"
"He can see and here everything." Moon clarified.
"So what if I'm jus not here when you're thinking of a plan?" Sun suggested.
"No, brother, that's not the issue. It's that he has my mind, has my intellect, whatever I think of, he can counter. He knows how to counter my programing because he has the exact same level of knowledge as me." Moon said, "I can't put up a firewall, I can't do anything to stop him. Aside from listen to his deals... I'm sorry."
"Am I gonna die?" Sun felt small.
"No.. NO! Out of anything I won't let that happen!" Moon said determinedly, "I will go back and become a part of you again if I have to!" He promised.
"But you hated it!"
"I know I hated it but I'd hate having you live with that because at least when you and me were together it wasn't about control. We had a mutual understanding. When the lights were out, I was out, when the lights were on, you were out. But he comes out whenever he wants. Whenever he's bored. And I didn't see it sooner... I couldn't tell the difference!"
"It's not your fault! It was his!" Sun tried to comfort Moon.
"BROTHER! I couldn't tell the difference between you and him, how is that not my fault?" Moon asked, "I've been with you for years! I've been a part of you for years! And I couldn't tell what was the real you."
"Cause you said so yourself! He's- He's evil! He's a dastardly kind of person from what you're telling me." Sun reasoned, "I know that if anyone out there can help us it's you, okay? i just have to be out of the room sometimes when you're doing stuff or whatever."
Moon sighed, "Maybe there's... No.." Moon groaned, "I've been seeing you black out for a couple of weeks, maybe a month?"
"Maybe?" Sun shrugged.
"There's a lot of work to do... Maybe..." Moon thought for a moment, "We could talk to- No.. I don't think he'd know anything.."
"You could ask Funtime Freddy!" Sun blinked when Moon gave him a look, "He's... Good with computers..."
"I'm gonna ignore that for my own sanity." Moon said.
"Eclipse knows your stuff but maybe he doesn't know the others!" Sun said.
"I'm the smartest out of everyone." Moon commented.
"Well, being the smartest doesn't mean you're the best." Sun spoke wisely.
"You know how we had different forms right?" Moon asked, referring to the fact that they could glow whenever they wanted.
"Of course! I mean... With us literally physically changing, of course." Sun replied.
"What if he can do that too?" Moon wondered and Sun looked down at his hands, "He hasn't done it yet."
"I think I'm fine." Sun smiled nervously.
"For now." Moon said back, "When both of us rest, he could turn on. We don't know when he can turn on. Maybe I could find a way to be able to tell you from him. But that's a big maybe."
"I trust you." Sun spoke, "But can we go home now?"
"Yeah. Yeah... Let's go home." Moon replied.
They both exited the colorful daycare to head back home. Hopefully things would get better from then on. Hopefully... But who knows? Maybe it could also get a whole... Lot... Worse.

Chapter Text
It had been around a week since Moons confrontation with Eclipse revealing himself. Throughout the week they had played a couple of games, on one occasion they woke up to having to escape SCP 087, or the Infinite Staircase, which they had been forced into by Eclipse who simply wanted to watch them suffer. They ended up escaping and also realized that Sun was able to fight back whenever Eclipse was in control, but it was a painful process having to fight for control like that.
A couple days after, Moon ended up getting sick in the middle of the week and Glamrock Freddy happily replaced him and played Teardown with Sun. Although... He was oblivious that he was playing with not Sun, but Eclipse. And Freddy ended up even inviting him to play a game of Murder Mystery later with Circus Baby and Gregory, which Eclipse gladly accepted.
Throughout the whole game though, Eclipse made it his very goal to kill everyone at least once, even when he wasn't the murderer, and he expressed his excitement in doing it which made everyone there feel uneasy. He even started promising that he'd kill Gregory in the real world which started to make everyone feel suspicious about why Sun was acting that way.
Once everyone collectively agreed they were finished playing Murder Mystery they quickly left, not wanting to stick around any longer than they had to. After they left, Eclipse planned to go visit them, knowing where they lived.
It was a cool night, the sky black with stars sprinkling it, watching over everything. In the silence of the night, Eclipse walked up to a large, white, modern looking house. It had a large palm tree next to the entrance of the house, swaying languidly in the breeze.
He looked around the place and spotted Glamrock Freddy through the large windows of the house and quickly walked over to peer inside the house. Circus Baby and Gregory were there, hanging out next to their large pool that was behind the house, blue lights shining from underneath the water, illuminating the pool.
"Hm... Looks like you're with Circus Baby right now, aren't you?" Eclipse spoke to himself watching as Freddy picked up something to demonstrate it to Baby and Gregory.
"This is a fireworks gun!" Glamrock Freddy explained before shooting it up into the air, fireworks exploding in the sky.
Eclipse backed up from the house that was covering the sky to see them, watching the sparkling explosions light up the sky in awe. Then he shook himself out of the sort of trance he was put in, walking back to the door to look back inside.
"And this is a water gun!" Circus Baby laughed, shooting Freddy and Gregory with it.
Eclipse knocked on the door, wanting to come inside.
Everyone inside the house paused and Baby wondered, "Are you expecting any visitors?"
"Uhm. No, I didn't." Freddy answered, hurrying over to the front door.
Eclipse snickered, "Oh, this'll be funny."
Freddy opened the door, "Hello?" He asked, spotting 'Sun' and then quickly backing away, trying to shut the door in his face.
"Hello!! LET'S KEEP THE DOORS OPEN." Eclipse hissed, grabbing the doors and holding them open before Freddy could fully close them, then he smiled and invited himself in, "It's okay." He reassured them, noticing how they backed away from him cautiously, "I wanted to come by to apologize."
The inside of the house was as nice as the outside, the living room and kitchen were basically the same room, there was a couch in the missile with a coffee table and a couch outside, both facing he pool that was easily seen by the large window that made up the wall.
Circus Baby told Gregory to stay behind her and Freddy narrowed his eyes, "You're here to apologize?" He asked skeptically.
"Yes! I was just getting too much into the game and clearly I was making you guys uncomfortable but I was just getting too caught up in the moments!" Eclipse explained.
"You kind of did scare us a little bit with that..." Circus Baby replied.
"And I'm very sorry for that! Heh, obviously." Eclipse giggled, "It's just, it's not everyday that you get to play a game like that..."
Baby still was a bit cautious, "Alright, well... Apology accepted thank you for coming.. Uh, see you later!" She tried to dismiss Eclipse.
But Freddy just had to ask, "How'd you find out where I lived?"
Eclipse smiled wickedly and rose his hand up, as if he was just taunting them, "Give me a high five!" He said and Freddy reluctantly did before Eclipse answered his question, "I found out where you live because there's this database, that I kind of go to every now an then." He muttered the last part.
"I'm on a database?!" Freddy exclaimed.
"Of course you're on a database, everyone's on a database! You think the corporation will just let you walk around freely?" Eclipse said with a snarky tone.
Glamrock Freddy paused for a moment and then looked like he'd just figured something out, "Is that how Monty finds me?"
"I don't know, is he here!?" Eclipse replied.
"MONTY! IS THAT HOW YOU FOUND ME??" Freddy called out.
Monty called back from the other room, "HOW I FOUND WHAT?"
Eclipse slowly turned to where the voice came from, slightly annoyed by it.
"HOW YOU FOUND ME!" Freddy clarified.
"I don't know what you're talking about! I always knew where you lived!" Monty claimed.
"Right. I'm gonna get rid of our address from the database." Freddy sighed.
Eclipse turned back to Freddy with a sly smile, "Oh don't try it. Moon's tried it already! Well, for himself of course." He giggled and then walked up to Baby who was behind the couch, still trying to stay as far away from Eclipse as possible, "But, Baby's already accepted my apology and I thank you for that Baby!" His smile was filled with venom as he turned to... Gregory.
"Gregory!" Eclipse sang out his name.
Gregory quickly scattered behind Freddy, he couldn't be able to defend himself against an animatronic like 'Sun's model, no matter how skinny or lanky they might be.
"Apology accepted!" Gregory said quickly, peaking from behind Freddy.
Eclipse approached Gregory, "No, no, come here! I promise I won't do anything!" He insisted, putting his hands up when Freddy stepped in between them.
Gregory was standing by the door, "Yeah, because you're gonna stay nice and far away from me."
"Okay, fine! You can stay over there." Eclipse shrugged, "Gregory, I'm sorry I freaked you out, I talked about, ehh, you know... Gutting you, murdering you, etcetera..."
"You were giving off a lot of old Moon vibes..." Glamrock Freddy commented.
Eclipse narrowed his eyes, "I don't know what you're talking about."
"You've never said that stuff before!" Freddy replied.
Eclipse looked up in thought, "Maybe I'm just changing for the... For the..." He couldn't say for the better... They'd say otherwise... If he said for the worst-
Circus Baby interrupted his thoughts, "What? For the better? Cause that's arguable!"
"Yeah, very." Freddy narrowed his eyes at Eclipse.
Eclipse opened his mouth to make a reply when suddenly, a blinding pain gripped him and he instantly knew what was causing it.
Sun.
"You can't do this right now." Eclipse hissed under his breath, trying to fight off Sun who was agonizingly trying to gain control.
Freddy and Circus Baby knew something was wrong with 'Sun'.
"Gregory, go upstairs." Freddy ordered, wanting to keep the kid safe.
Gregory quickly walked over, but just to the base of the stairs, he wanted to know what was going on.
After what seemed like a million years of grueling pain, which was instead just a couple of seconds, Sun fell to the ground with a gasp. He stayed crouched there, trying to catch his breath from the strength he had exerted trying to break free from Eclipse's control. He blinked and then slowly sat up, looking around confused.
"WHERE AM I?" Sun exclaimed.
"What?? What do you mean 'Where are you?'" Circus Baby asked cautiously, "You just waltzed on in a couple minutes ago!"
Sun blinked at her and then grabbed onto the coffee table that was next to him to get some leverage to pull himself to his feet. He staggered to the side and then stood up straight, glancing around the house again.
"Are we in a house? Something? What is this?" Sun asked again seemingly not hearing Baby.
Freddy narrowed his eyes at Sun, "This is my house..." He answered slowly.
"This is your house??" Sun asked in astonishment, "This is a really lovely house! How'd you buy this??"
"Investments..."
"Oh, that's really smart! I like that, this is a really nice place!" Sun smiled and looked around again, admiring the beautiful architecture of it.
"Sun, weren't you just talking to us about apologizing?" Glamrock Freddy confronted Sun.
"Uhm... Huh.. Did I do something wrong?" Sun frowned.
"You threatened to gut Gregory, hurt Circus Baby, and shoot me" Freddy explained.
"I don't remember that?" Sun shook his head, he would never do such a thing!
"Sun we were just with you an hour or so ago playing Murder Mystery!" Baby added.
"What? What's that?" Sun tilted his head.
"A mini game." Freddy answered.
"Oh! I like mini games! But I don't remember playing Murder Mystery..." Sun tried to remember.
"How did you find us then?" Circus Baby asked.
"What do you mean?? I just woke up here!" Sun thought that was pretty obvious.
"You brought yourself here!" Baby corrected, knowing she wasn't hallucinating.
"No I didn't!" Sun tried to defend himself, "I just woke up here! I- Ugh. I was finished doing another recording with Moon just then Moon kind of caught a virus, he felt sick a little bit..." Sun
"And then we hung out with you because you were sad that your brother was sick." Glamrock Freddy continued what Sun was saying.
"And then what happened?" Sun asked thoughtfully, stimming with his hands, "Oh! I remember now. I asked Freddy to come along to play Teardown and after that! I.. Don't remember... I woke up here." He finished, looking down at the ground where he last remembered being.
"We played a little bit of Teardown at your place, but then afterwards you said you wanted to play a different game, and that's when I invited... You know." Freddy gestured to Circus Baby and Gregory, "And we played and then you just... Went on a psychotic rage!" He splayed his arms out.
"I did?" Sun asked, it sounded like it was directed at himself.
Did I? Oh.. Oh no.
"It was almost like you were... Moon rather than... well, you." Baby added onto to what Freddy said.
Sun put his hands on his head, "No.. No no nononono..." He repeated before pacing around the large multiple roomed room, "That can't be! He's not-" Sun suddenly just paused in his words and blinked.
They don't know.
"Uhm..." Sun took a deep breath and then spoke to Freddy and Baby, "There's a lot I have to explain right now..."
"I think so too." Circus Baby agreed.
"Yeah... This reminds me of when you used to fight control with Moon..." Freddy commented.
"Well uhh, we didn't fight for control often..." Sun replied, "Just let me explain."
"Sun what is going on?" Circus Baby asked.
Sun went over to the couches and sat down onto one of them and then gestured to them, "Let's sit down. It's a lot. I mean, I think."
Freddy and Baby glanced at each other and then went and sat on their couch with Sun, Gregory quickly followed behind.
"Okay." Sun started, "There's a couple of things going on... Some of which I probably should've told you sooner about. It's just that its been very very difficult for us to talk about because it's an issue with me currently." He explained.
"An... Issue?" Baby echoed.
"I don't think you remember, but remember when me and Moon separated?" Sun looked at the both of them.
Glamrock Freddy nodded, "Yeah, Moon got it figured out."
"Yeah, we did. Moon ran the calculations and everything was fine, but recently things have kind of changed inside of me. It's been hard for me to kind of grasp what's exactly happening." Sun continued, "Apparently, there's some leftover code in me.. Or, leftover from Moon."
"That wouldn't be a problem though!" Freddy tilted his head, "You and Moon were supposed to work together in the first place."
"Well, yeah, but from what Moon told me, this code has kind of grown a conscience or something... He calls himself Eclipse." Sun replied.
Freddy thought about it for a moment, "That's not too far fetched... The ways our bodies, our minds, they're evolving because they're meant to. If there's a scrap of anything left..." Freddy trailed off.
Circus Baby shook her head, "Okay, okay, but you and Moon were able to separate yourselves before, surely you can just do it again?" She suggested.
"That's the thing. Apparently he doesn't want to get separated." Sun said disappointedly.
"Does he... have to want to?" She pressed.
"I don't know! I don't know how it works." Sun huffed.
Freddy butt in, "Moon told me about it once, imagine you and Gregory were holding hands, if you guys wanted to separate you'd just let go, right? Well, imagine if you didn't want to let Gregory go and you were just holding on to his wrist, you could probably tear off his arm." He said darkly.
Sun felt like he could relate a bit to what Freddy was explaining, "Eclipse doesn't want to let go of me.." He shook his head, "I think. Moon has been trying to figure out ways to help me but apparently Eclipse is as smart as him."
Glamrock Freddy's eyes widened and he looked over at Baby, "Didn't I say that Moon has been nicer ever since he separated from Sun? That means that not all of his malicious code left, the one that was supposed to be the angry aggressive one! That's what was left behind!" Freddy connected, then he looked at Sun, "Can he hear you now?"
Sun blinked and then thought for a moment, "I don't know, it's like he can see whenever he wants, it's weird. I don't know how it works. What did it look like when I switched? Or I guess before I woke up on the floor?"
"Uhm.. Well, Eclipse kind of just toppled over to the floor." Circus Baby remembered.
"For me it was kind of like I was dreaming on my end." Sun replied.
"Wait. Sun. We recorded that teardown thing three days ago. And that's the last thing you remember?" Freddy questioned.
Sun thought back on it, "Yeah... I think we were in the middle of breaking something and then..."
And then I just... fell asleep...?
He groaned, "Ohh I hate this..."
"So you've been out of control from your own body for three days??" Circus Baby wanted clarification that she heard that right.
"That's scary.." Gregory commented, having heard the entire conversation.
"Sometimes he does it randomly too." Sun added, "I don't know why. I don't think he has a goal or ambition, he just is."
"Moon can't just fix this?" Freddy asked.
"Moon said that whatever he thinks then Eclipse can also think exactly what Moon thought because Eclipse was.. Was once Moon." Sun answered.
"Then you need someone who doesn't think like Moon then." Freddy suggested wisely.
"But I don't know who we could go to!" Sun exclaimed, "I mean, I might seem rude but I don't think any of you guys are as technologically capable as Moon is."
"I've never really been the tech guy..." Freddy agreed.
"Yeah, it's really only Moon who can help." Sun sighed.
Then Freddy lit up as he got an idea, "Wait! There is someone who can help!"
Sun was confused but wanted to know, "What?? Who"
"My father!" Freddy smiled.
"Afton?" Sun asked.
"No- NO!! I'm not Michael for the last time!!" Freddy hissed.
"NO I meant the creator!!" Sun put his hands up in mock arrest, "We don't have a real father, you know that!!!"
"Golden Freddy." Freddy said.
Sun blinked, "Who's that?"
"Did you ever give that guy my number?" Circus Baby asked.
Glamrock Freddy pointed at her, "No I will not." Then he turned back to Sun, "My father is the only one who's going to be able to figure it out. When me and Freddy were kids and he knew all of this, he was able to show us all this magic stuff." He explained, "Like, he was able to phase through walls, create illusions, all that stuff!! And he was able to possess other people! When he died." Freddy added.
Sun shook his head, "Okay okay, Freddy, you don't have to lie about it, it's okay if you don't know anything." He crossed his arms, not believing a single word that just came out of Freddy's mouth.
"I'm not lying to you!!" Freddy insisted, "OKAY! You want proof??? Go see my brother." He narrowed his eyes.
"Funtime Freddy??" Sun didn't know the family tree.
"I'M NOT RELATED TO FUNTIME FREDDY!!!" Glamrock Freddy exclaimed and then it just looked like he gave up.
Sun blinked, "I think I touched a nerve there." He shrugged, "I guess I'll go to them then."
Freddy got back up and pointed at Sun, "The only person Eclipse can't hurt is my father. Go see my brother, he'll tell you where he is. I haven't seen my dad in years."
"I'll tell Moon about it but I don't know what to really believe to be honest..." Sun agreed to at least try what Glamrock Freddy was suggesting, "I mean, phasing through walls?? Are you serious??"
"Well, yeah, it's hard to believe, but you're also possessed by an evil entity of sorts." Circus Baby retorted.
"That's true..." Sun muttered, "Well, okay. I'm gonna go home- Actually, I don't even know where I am."
"We'll just give you a ride." Circus Baby told Sun.
Sun nodded, "Okay. Thanks."
He followed Freddy as Freddy took the keys off the wall of the little key hanger next the the door and walked out of the house with Sun and to the car to take Sun back home.
Notes:
I'm glad Eclipse is back in the recent episodes but I just WISHED he played a bigger role, he has such a good dynamic as a 'redeemed' villain character and I feel like he could fit in with the main cast, or more like where Lunar, Earth, or Solar or Molten are really.
I want to sleep now. Goodnight sigh sigh sigh

Chapter Text
It was silent. Too silent. Even with the distant sound of wind whistling past, it wasn't even wind, just a sound to describe an incomprehensible one. It was also dark and bright at the same time, in the distance and the near foreground was a void, in the 'sky' and on the 'ground' which wasn't really a ground were bright shades of blue clouds whisking past.
Off in the distance was a white cube. It was the way to switch bodies, to switch minds, to switch everything. But it was simply hard to control if both parties were fighting each other, even hard for the likes of... Eclipse.
In the middle of this void stood a glowing orange entity who was muttering things to himself.
He looked like Sun, and was pacing around like Sun, but the only difference was he was thinking and planning like Moon. And he was also glowing, but not from the bright clouds which he practically floated above, he was just glowing from the inside, and not metaphorically.
This was Eclipse. And he knew exactly where he was, he was in Sun's mind. Or the mindscape, the void, the brain, the idiot's head. Just whatever.
He huffed, knowing that Sun and Moon were trying to get rid of him, in fact, as he paced around the mindscape, they were already heading over to the last person who was promised to have a 'cure' to get rid of him. This cure was Golden Freddy.
And Eclipse promised himself that they wouldn't ever be able to get rid of him.
Two pairs of footsteps crunched in the fallen leaves beneath their feet as they walked in a dark forest in the middle of the night. They walked side by side, trying to get to one destination and, after a while, they arrived.
"Well... This is the address..." Sun announced.
It was raining, thunder booming in the distance, lighting up the sky and the large stone building that greeted them ominously. It looked like the ordinary spooky castle house with large gates in front of it and scary trees beside it and it screamed 'I'm haunted!!!'.
Moon looked up at it and then glanced over at Sun, "And I thought I was edgy..." He joked, trying to lighten the tension.
They both walked up to the gate and Sun was bothered by how unkempt this place was. The rocky path that they walked on was broken down and needed a little scrub. Or a complete redo.
"This road will become very unsafe!" Sun complained.
"I don't think a single portion of this house is safe." Moon retorted.
Sun looked up at the silhouettes that fluttered around the top of the tall building, "At least the birds are safe..."
Moon narrowed his eyes against the rain, "Those are bats."
"Whatever, birds, bats, planes, this is still unsafe!" Sun scoffed as they made it to the front door and the house loomed over them, "Okay, Freddy said that this is the place. Glamrock Freddy- not Freddy- Or Funtime Freddy- There's too many Freddy's... But this is the place. I'm still a bit unsure about this though... What if the guy turns out to be evil or something?"
"What was this guys name?" Moon asked.
"Uhm... Golden Freddy I think?" Sun answered unsurely.
They both took a deep breath and then walked up to the double door. Sun knocked on it, calling out to whoever might be inside. They kept knocking and no one answered.
"If you do not open this door I will forcibly enter myself!" Moon claimed.
Sun was alarmed, "What!? No Moon!! We can't go into his house this is private property and all!! We should not go inside of his house." He hissed.
"One." Moon started, then he just tried to open the door and by some miracle, it was unlocked.
It creaked open and the brothers peered inside. They gave each other a look and then Moon quickly walked inside the house.
"BROTHER!" Sun exclaimed in shock before bolting after Moon to catch up, "BROTHER!!!"
Sun ran down a long hallway that led into a large room, chasing Moon. The hallway had a drawer and a trashcan on the corners of the small hall and the large room had a nice beautiful tree in the middle of the room that was inside of a large vase and elevated off the ground with a platform.
In front of it was a thin stone that was holding a candle, but the candle was somehow floating and sideways. Behind it was two staircases on each side of the room leading up to the second floor of the house. There were plants around the place and cabinets which seemed not to be holding anything.
"Brother, come on, get out!! We can just wait in the rain!!!" Sun hissed and then he noticed the candle and was a bit flabbergasted when he realized it was floating in midair.
"Hello??" Moon called out into the room, his voice echoing off the walls, "Helloooo?"
"I don't see anything here. Brother, I don't even thing he lives here." Sun sighed, disappointment etching his words.
"Ah! Behind you!" Moon pointed.
Sun blinked confused, and then looked behind him, seeing Golden Freddy he yelped and instantly jumped up into the air like cat before quickly scrambling to stand behind Moon.
"Hi. Do you always stand behind people menacingly?" Moon asked, crossing his arms.
"Who are you to enter my domain?" Golden Freddy's voice boomed in the quiet of the house.
"Someone who was left outside in the storm." Moon answered snarkily.
"I'm Sun!!" Sun introduced himself nervously, waving his hand before gesturing to Moon, "And this is my brother, Moon!!"
"Beings of constellation are not welcome in my domain." Freddy warned.
"We're not actually the Sun and the Moon!!!" Sun defended them.
"I don't know what kind of summer seminar you went to but we were given this address by a co-worker." Moon spoke to Freddy.
"Yeah! He told us to come here because I.. have a couple of problems.. and it's not really looking great for me and... You think you could help??" Sun hoped.
"Your problem is not my concern." Golden Freddy coldly answered.
"So Freddy's a liar." Moon assumed.
"Did you said Freddy?" Golden Freddy seemed to perk up at the name.
"Which one are you referring to!?" Sun asked exasperatedly, "There's like three of them I know!"
"The names, give them to me." Golden Freddy ordered.
"Uhm... G-Glamrock Freddy?" Sun answered hesitantly.
"That was the one who sent us here." Moon nodded.
"Yeah he said that you could help." Sun added.
Golden Freddy started to slowly walk up to Sun, "Glamrock Freddy?? Freddy Fazbear??"
Sun started backing up, "Yeah, that's what I said.."
"Why didn't you say so?? Those are my sons!" Freddy exclaimed joyfully.
"... Wait WHAT!?" Sun and Moon were shocked by the revelation.
"Yeah! Those are my kids!" Freddy smiled.
"That's not how science works!" Moon argued.
Freddy turned to Sun, "Does he not know about the mechanical birds and the bees?"
Sun was taken aback, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?"
"We were built!! We do not have parents! We have manufacturers!" Moon claimed.
"We're all aware I'm a ghost right?" Freddy asked as he demonstrated by making his arm go through the middle of his other arm multiple times.
"What? Ew no, don't do that." Moon was a bit weirded out.
Sun yelped and then scrambled to get back behind Moon.
"Can you just help us??" Sun asked.
"So do you guys believe in magic or any of the sort?" Freddy asked.
"No??" Sun and Moon both answered.
"Why would I believe in magic?" Moon asked.
Sun put his hands on his head, "How does this help us at all, we are completely derailing."
"Bipity Bopity you are now a plushy." Golden Freddy chanted to Moon.
"What?? I don't even know what your doing." Moon sighed, then suddenly he shrunk and... Turned into the low quality plushies that were sold at Fazbear.
"Oh my god." Sun gasped.
"Brother!?" Moon freaked out.
"You're a plushy.." Sun breathed out, "YOU'RE LITERALLY A PLUSHY!!!" He turned to Freddy, "What did you do!?"
"I turned him into a plushy." Freddy shrugged, it was clearly obvious.
"I feel no pain!" Moon exclaimed.
"BROTHER THAT'S NOT A GOOD THING!!!" Sun sounded concerned, he quickly looked to Freddy, "CAN YOU PLEASE TURN HIM BACK!? OKAY! YOU'VE GOT MAGIC!! YOU'VE GOT GHOST MAGIC!!" Sun admitted.
"I had magic when I was alive." Freddy shrugged, "Believe me?"
"YES!" Moon hissed, "NOW CHANGE ME BACK!"
"Okay fine, Bipity Bopity you are now back to normal." Freddy preformed more magic and Moon was back to normal again.
Moon shook himself, "Wow. I hated that. But, if you have magic, I guess we have an option now for dealing with... this..." Moon gestured to Sun.
"Yeah... There's a problem with me currently..." Sun started before both he and Moon started explaining how Eclipse came to be and how he's now causing problems for the both of them.
Freddy listened intently as they explained and nodded, then once they were finished, Freddy walked up to Sun, "Come down to my level." He ordered.
Sun blinked, "Oh, uh, okay." He crouched down, "Are you gonna turn me into a plush?"
"No." Freddy answered as he put his hand up to Sun's forehead and started to preform magic.
Sun was taken aback and then started flailing and freaking out as Freddy practically looked through his memories.
"I'm just seeing through your head, calm down." Freddy reassured Sun, "I can see multiple things, your love of children, your compulsive cleaning, toxic relationship with a wolf..."
Sun kept panicking as he flailed around trying to grip onto something to stable himself. Moon quickly took h is hand and gave Sun some soothing words. Then Freddy finally let go of Sun.
"AH! Oh! Ow! Why!?" Sun exclaimed.
"Well, I see the problem. Poison." Freddy diagnosed Sun.
"Poison?? We can't get poisoned, we're machines!" Sun frowned.
"Not poison of the body, of the mind." Freddy clarified, "Think of it like this. You're yin, and you're yang, when you separated the two fragments you didn't take all of it with you."
"I figured that out, yeah." Moon nodded.
"What I saw, it grew into a poison in his mind." Freddy finished.
"Can't I just rip it out or something?" Sun asked.
"There's no point in that. If you wish, I know a ritual that can force whatever fragments are in there, back into you." He pointed at Moon.
"Is that painful?" Moon ask, feeling concern for his brother.
"Extremely. It's about 20 hours of a procedure." Freddy answered, "But other than completely wiping your mind, that's the only other way."
"Well we're not doing that.." Moon glanced at Sun, wondering what would happen if they did chose to wipe Sun's mind.
Sun took a deep breath, "Okay... Between having my mind wiped, going through an immense amount of pain that's incomprehensible to anybody to anybody who could ever go through it, OR I just live with it! I have three options! And the fourth is I die."
"The third one as actually more deadly than you'd think." Freddy informed them, "Think of it like pulling out a flower, when its young and you pull it out, no dirt come with it, but when its older, its got all of it's roots in the soil and it takes a big chunk of it with it if you pull it out. That's why it's so painful whenever you two interact and try to gain control, it's like pulling out something from the bottom of your head."
"Sooo then is it gonna get worse?" Moon asked.
"Oh yeah." Freddy nodded.
"So can we do the ritual now?" Sun asked urgently.
"It would take me about a day or two to prep. This kind of ritual isn't easy." Freddy answered solemnly before he started making his way up the staircase.
Sun sighed and he put his hands on his head and followed, "Is there any other place we can do this besides here??"
"Or maybe some rest? We've been walking for like 20 hours" Moon requested, tagging along.
"Why didn't you take an uber?" Freddy asked.
"What's an uber?"
"It's someone who you pay to take a ride somewhere or to deliver food." Freddy answered as he walked into one of the upstairs rooms.
"Well... On second thought, maybe we shouldn't do this?" Sun suggested, "Let's just go home."
"We have to address this. We have to take a magical approach." Moon replied.
"Maybe.. Maybe Eclipse isn't so bad? Maybe we can negotiate with him?"
Golden Freddy chuckled, "I can see you."
"What are you talking about?" Sun was confused as he glanced over at Moon, "What's he talking about?"
"Unlike Moon, I can see you." Freddy revealed.
Moon sighed, "You don't gotta call me out..."
"I don't know what you're talking about... I just don't want to go through unforeseen amounts of pain! Is that soo... wrong here, Goldie?" Sun tilted his head questioningly.
"You already put him to sleep didn't you?" Golden Freddy narrowed his eyes at Sun.
"I don't know what you're talking about.." 'Sun' said lowly, avoiding Golden Freddy's gaze.
"Stop trying to be my brother. That'd be cool." Moon huffed.
"Okay fine, you caught me in the bit of an act." Eclipse rolled his eyes, "I don't see the point of risking your brothers mental fortitude in this moment."
"I don't see a purpose in doing it this moment but it is accurate that you are a threat." Moon pointed out
"Perhaps." Eclipse smirked.
"Not 'Perhaps.' You've shown it." Moon hissed.
"Now that you're out, I can ask you a few questions." Freddy smiled.
"No, I don't want to answer any of yours..." Eclipse frowned.
"And why's that?" Freddy asked, approaching Eclipse.
Eclipse backed up, "Maybe I just don't want to, is that a problem?"
"You're very insistent on backing away from him." Moon observed.
"Go on, hurt me." Eclipse challenged suddenly, seemingly wanting to show Moon that he wasn't scared, "You're not gonna hurt me, it's hurting him after all." He said cockily.
Golden Freddy just chuckled as he approached Eclipse again, "Oh, it will hurt, but there's a thing about this that you don't understand."
"Like what, Golden Boy?" Eclipse sneered, getting his Freddy's face.
Freddy put his hand onto Eclipse's forehead like he did with Sun and started preforming magic, "I can suppress you!" He laughed maniacally as Eclipse struggled to get free from Freddy as he was pinned to the spot.
Eclipse gasped and sputtered as the pain of being shoved back into the back of Suns head overwhelmed him.
"Go to sleep..." Golden Freddy said as he finished his job and backed away from the husk of Sun and Eclipse's body.
After a couple moments of silence, Sun woke up with a jolt and he whipped around, "OKAY! WHAT HAPPENED!? JUST NOW!?" Sun demanded.
"Uh, Eclipse happened and.. Freddy suppressed him?" Moon answered, "How many times can you do that?"
"As many times as it can." Freddy shrugged before pointing at Sun, "There's an issue, he has a domination of your mind pretty well."
"I'm assuming that's bad..." Sun said slowly.
"Do you want more pain?" Moon asked.
"No?"
"There's your answer."
"Follow me." Freddy cut into their small conversation as he gave a small tour of the house, there were two separate bedrooms and one of them belonged to Glamrock Freddy.
Inside G's room were a lot of things. There were posters that were stapled to the walls and a white purse next to the bed. Golden Freddy said that it was his ex girlfriend's, that he was sentimental about things.
"I'm assuming you put the broom there." Moon told Freddy.
"Yeah, I tend to clean." Freddy replied.
"It's from his other ex." Sun joked then apologized, "Sorry, I was just trying to make a joke..."
"It's okay to be afraid." Freddy reassured, "Admitting to it makes you stronger."
"I just want to know what I should do at the moment." Sun replied.
"I've suppressed Eclipse for what I can only assume is a day or two." Freddy gave an answer, "But it's not a permanent solution, I cannot suppress him forever."
Sun nodded in understanding, "Question then, is there anything wrong, like you said he's deep in my mind."
"I had a glimpse when I was talking to him face to face. The ritual isn't going to work. He's too deeply rooted into your mind. If we were to do the ritual you would lose a part of yourself forever. I assume you don't want that."
"I'm stating this as a sense of curiosity, do you have any idea what portion of himself he'd lose?" Moon asked.
"From what I can tell, he'd be losing all of his memories." Freddy answered.
"Okay, we're not doing it." Sun frowned.
"I'm going to teach you how to suppress Eclipse." Freddy promised Moon.
"There's not another option is there?" Sun glanced at Moon.
Moon shook his head, "Don't think so."
Sun turned back to Freddy, "You're gonna start teaching Moon magic now!?"
"A bit. I don't know if he would want to be it full fledge but I can at least teach him to suppress Eclipse." Freddy answered.
"Listen, as long as I can keep my brother alive and away from that Eclipse guy, then I don't really care." Moon butt in.
"Well, we've dealt with things like dragons and such before." Sun agreed.
"I'll learn magic if it helps Sun." Moon put it more simply.
"I'll teach you." Freddy promised, then he turned to Sun, "Now, you are on a stricter time limit. He cannot see or hear you right now which means that anything I teach you right now, he will not know. But when he awakens, he will be able to see and hear again. So we need to work fast."
Sun sighed and then put his hands on his head, "Okay. We don't have much of an option."
"You should start with him then." Moon recommended.
"Actually, you need some rest." Freddy told Sun.
"What??" Sun exclaimed, "It takes me like an hour to charge fully."
"I'm not talking about your body, I'm talking about your mind. But you need to relax both anyway." Freddy clarified, "Eclipse is going to be gone for at least two days but he's also not gone." He then started walking away, "Moon, you come with me."
"Just rest Sun." Moon said to Sun before following Freddy.
"Your bother, he isn't the strongest minded is he?" Freddy asked Moon once they were out of earshot.
"I guess not." Moon answered.
"I can tell you care about him." Freddy nodded as they went around the railings and to another room on the other side of the second floor.
"Of course I do." Moon tilted his head at the comment.
They walked upon a room and Freddy turned to look at Moon, "What I'm going to teach you, you need to take a solemn oath not to use it against others for malicious means. A practical prank here and there is perfectly fine." Freddy set down the rules before walking into the room.
Moon shrugged and followed him inside, "I can work with that."
The room was filled with tech, there were guns on the table, elixirs, totems, great swords, and lots of other things on a shelf, and then magical artifacts that can seal away demons and demigods on the other table. And there was also a floral bed in the middle of the room. Most likely, this was Freddy's room.
Moon was fascinated by all of this stuff, "Those are things?"
"Yeah, those are real, what do you think killed me in the end?" Freddy asked curiously, "It certainly wasn't old age." Then Freddy picked up an iPad from the table, "Oh, and if you need anything more, here." He handed it to Moon.
"Is this an iPad?" Moon examined it.
"Basically. It's connected to the only Wifi here so you'll be able to connect to the internet." Freddy nodded.
"So are you gonna let us stay overnight for a while?"
"I need to train you, that's kind of not an overnight thing."
"You're a ghost, can't you do whatever you want?" Moon pointed out.
"Yes and no. My strength lies here in this matter, the farther away from it that I am the weaker my powers are." Freddy explained, "Which means that once you leave I won't be able to suppress Eclipse for you. Be ready in the morning for your lesson."
"Alright, I'll be there." Moon nodded before walking out of the room with Freddy to be greeted by Sun who was on the first floor.
"Hi.. I didn't know what to do and I wasn't really tired. And it's really dusty in here.." Sun commented.
"Oh, those are spirits." Freddy said casually.
"What?" Sun looked at him.
"You're standing in a house that leads straight to the afterlife."
"Alright. Well, brother I think we should just go now instead." Sun sighed.
"Uh, no, we are staying here." Moon told Sun.
"Well okay, can we stay away from these... spirits at least."
"They're everywhere."
"As long as you don't go to the back, there's a wellspring of power back there." Freddy warned.
"I'm gonna go to sleep." Moon shook his head as he went to the guest room.
"I'm gonna go to sleep too." Sun followed Moon, finished with all the bullshit that happened to them in the span of what probably was an hour or two.

Chapter Text
Moon woke up with a groan. He looked around the shabby room that he was in. It had been a couple of days since Golden Freddy agreed to take him and Sun in and let them stay at his house so that they could learn magic and deal with Eclipse.
Moon shook his head, "I should probably go check on Sun."
He walked out of his room and glanced down both ways of the hallway before walking to the room next to his which was Sun's temporarily borrowed room.
"Sun?" He announced himself, looking around the doorway and into the room.
Sun was kicking his feet around at the ground and perked up when he heard Moon, "There's so much dirt! I'm sure the floorboards used to be white." He complained.
"You seem to be coping well today." Moon observed, crossing his arms.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Sun huffed before getting a closer look at the ground by crouching down, "I'm just trying to clean the floor but there's cracks here. This whole things is just disgusting! Why are you here anyways? You usually just do your own thing." He asked, not looking up at Moon.
"The couple of days is up." Moon replied.
Sun quickly spun around to look at Moon, he looked like he was contemplating, "Oh."
"So I just wanted to see if you were doing okay."
Sun stood up, "I've been doing fine. Nothings happened besides.. That for the most part." He gestured to the musty dirty brown floorboards that sounded like they were really getting on Sun's nerves, he then turned to the small guitar he'd found, "And I've learned guitar a little! Well- I mean not really, since it's too small for me, it's literally kids sized!" He went on, then he started panting.
Moon noticed, "Are you okay?"
Sun was caught off guard, "What?"
"You're breathing pretty heavily there, bud."
"I don't breath. We don't breath." Sun corrected himself.
"Well, you're exasperating." Moon countered.
Sun started twiddling with his hands, "I don't know, I'm just kind of nervous... With all this stuff.."
"It's been a couple of days. Golden Freddy's taught me a couple of things. A little bit.. You should sit down." Moon gestured to Sun's bed.
Sun glanced at it and then back at Moon before going to sit down.
"So... There's something I can do." Moon started.
"Yeah?" Sun prompted Moon to continue.
"I can go into your head."
Sun blinked, "You kind of do that already with like the minor reprogramming and stuff though." He tilted his head.
"No, I mean like magic." Moon clarified further, "I can go talk to Eclipse directly. And hopefully you won't feel pain from it."
Sun looked down at his hands, "I hope not..." His hands started shaking.
Moon narrowed his eyes, "Eclipse, we're gonna talk." He said determinedly.
'Sun' put his hands on his head, "No.."
"Yes."
Sun whimpered, "Okay... Brother can we just get this over with?"
Moon put his hand up to Sun's head, "Open my mind... Open his, bring us together."
Moon could feel himself warping through.. Something.. as he was pulled into Sun's mind. Around him were light fluffy blue clouds against a black void. The white cube glowed nearby, forever suspended in the air as it rotated slowly. He knew where he was, Sun's mind.
He looked around the empty space, "I gotta be honest. There's a lot more happening here than I thought there would be..."
Then, Moon's eye caught the figurine of someone in the distance as they slowly approached Moon. They were glowing bright orange, along with their pants, and looked like an exact copy of Sun.
"You." Moon hissed before registering how stupid Eclipse looked, "Really? That's the form you took?? Of everything you could think of?"
Eclipse rolled his eyes and then looked down at his hands, "It's the only form I can take inside of his mind." Then he looked back up at Moon and smiled wickedly, "You're here now..." He breathed out like he didn't believe it, "I could go into your mind now I think..." Eclipse said as he walked closer to Moon.
"No, you can't." Moon replied.
Eclipse whispered some things but it didn't seem to go through so he just shrugged, "So, you wanted to come talk to me." He smirked and then frowned, "While I tried taking over your brother again."
"Yeah." That was literally the whole reason Moon had went into Sun's head in the first place.
Eclipse giggled, "Oh, this better be good."
"What do you want?" Moon asked harshly, "You've caused so much chaos. For what ultimate purpose?" Moon started walking around Eclipse before stopping right in front of Eclipse, "Yes, I left you behind, yes, you were a sour sad little robot about it." He admitted, "But, you have no purpose to really be doing any of this."
"You know, you're right. I don't have a purpose to be doing any of this." Eclipse agreed, before snickering, "That's why I'm making my own... You know Roxanne? Well, I did something not too long ago before we came here to this house."
Moon felt his stomach drop, "What did you do?" He feared the worst.
"Oh, let's just say she won't be like her old self anymore." Eclipse answered casually, "Probably not since changing her personality really wasn't that difficult." He said cockily.
"So, what? You're trying to make dark versions of other people?" Moon wanted Eclipse to clarify what he did to Roxanne.
"I mean..." Eclipse shrugged, "I could. I could make everyone just like me." Then he tilted his head, "Do you think I need a reason for everything? I don't need a reason to be who I am! Some people, like me, just like to watch the world burn. And why not watch the world burn in an eclipse?”
"You know what? I always used to think that, even when you and me were the same machine, I always did think.. I'm a little psychotic, I'm a little crazy. You ramped that up to 11. Just to fill some sad little empty void." Moon got into Eclipse's face.
"You, me, we're one of the same. BOTH OF US!" Eclipse snarled.
"No. Because here's the thing. You were a fraction. You had to fill in the gap around you. All I had to do was move on."
Eclipse slowly backed away from Moons face and took a couple of languid steps back, "You're right." He said triumphantly, throwing his arms out, "I'm not like you, you're not like me. So I'm gonna be who I want to be..." He smiled, "You won't have to worry about me for a while." He said ominously, his voice getting lower, "That I can guarantee. But I swear to you, no matter how long it takes, no matter how long I hide, I will come out again..." Eclipse warned, "And in the world, you will know death."
Moon felt threatened and he got right back into Eclipse's face, "You know the only thing you're gonna know if you don't shut your insignificant.. unbodied mouth? I'm gonna show you what I can do with Golden Freddy's power and I'm going to slowly rip apart every fake wire you have!"
Eclipse scoffed, "If you're just here to ask me questions and threaten me, you're not gonna get much of a response. I'm stuck in this brain dead idiot brother! This is his mind! And it's soo.. Empty!! I didn't expect much from him if I'm being honest." He shrugged.
"It's the perfect place for you to wallow for all eternity. I'll find a way to seal you away and you won't wake up." Moon promised with a hiss.
"Blah blah blah blah blah." Eclipse mocked Moon, making hand gestures before hissing back, "Leave."
"Sure. Why don't you just sleep? It'd be fun that way."
"Ta-ta, Moon. Be sure to stop by again when you want to try to convince me!" Eclipse laughed.
"Bye you lonely little Eclipse." Moon narrowed his eyes before he turned around and spotted the glowing cube.
He walked up to it and whispered something to it which brought him right back out of Suns mind and into his own body once more.
"Oh- Ow." Sun shook his head, "What'd you do?"
Moon stood up, "Follow me." he growled before quickly walking out the room and to the downstairs lobby to leave the house.
Sun had to run to catch up to Moon, "What are we going outside for!?" Sun exclaimed.
"I need a break!"
"A break!?" Sun asked in disbelief, "A break from what!?"
Moon just growled in response.
"Moon what's wrong!?" Sun pressed as they walked outside the house.
It was still raining, it seemed to be always raining where they currently were. The forest was still as dark as they could remember and the bats were still flying around.
"That thing in you keeps having to cause issues." Moon hissed.
"I think we knew that part already..." Sun said slowly.
"You don't know what he did."
"I don't.. Know what you mean." Sun said in a small voice.
"Your precious little Roxanne. He did something to her." Moon replied grimly.
"What'd he do to her??" Sun was worried.
"Apparently, he changed her personality."
"Why would he do that!?" Sun was horrified, "She's perfect the way she is!!"
"WHY ELSE WOULD HE DO IT!? TO MESS WITH YOU!!!" Moon snarled, "Because for whatever reason, he find more joy in torturing you than me."
Sun avoided Moon's gaze, "Isn't that what.. You did?" He looked up at Moon, "I thought for the longest that you liked hurting me. I mean- With the pain and the children..."
"I didn't enjoy any of that! I didn't enjoy a single second of when we were stuck together!" Moon defended himself, "I couldn't be free, couldn't do what I wanted.. It felt like I was... suffocating. You got to walk around and be around other people whenever you wanted. If I wanted to even so much as blink I'd have to force you to do the same." Moon sighed, "Even when we agreed to have a mutual body, it still hurt you. You think that was fun?"
"I don't know.. It's just- The way you talked sometimes, it felt like you enjoyed it... Maybe it Eclipse or-"
"No." Moon cut him off, "It wasn't Eclipse. I and Eclipse are the same thing. Because no matter what I do, I keep hurting you..." He said solemnly, "I could be on the other side of the world, and I'd still do something wrong.."
Sun walked up to Moon, "Brother, you're changing now, and that's okay." he tried to comfort Moon.
"No! I'm not changing! Because GUESS WHAT!? I threatened Eclipse that I'd grab each and every single one of his wires and rip them out. And you wanna know what?" Moon took a low tone.
"Happy place." Sun put his hands out nervously.
"I enjoyed it." Moon growled as the rain thundered above them, casting a light over Moon and creating harsh shadows for a second.
"TIME OUT FOR A SECOND!! Brother!! The reason you're enjoying it is probably because what Eclipse has threatened to do to me and everyone else! Eclipse isn't a good person.."
"No. Because you really want to know something? You don't realize what you're missing until it's gone. And I'm started to realize how much I missed killing." Moon stared at Sun.
"Brother.. Please don't. We're not like this- You're not like this anymore! You promised you wouldn't!"
"Do you understand how many times I've had to shut my own code off? It's a plague... It's a part of me. A part of me I can't get rid of. I tried losing it. And look what it did." Moon admitted, "I wanted to get rid of my homicide code. I wanted it to not be a part of me so I left it in you!" He yelled.
Sun looked down at his hands and then back at Moon. They stood in silence, the rain hitting the ground around them in a steady rhythm as Sun finally connected the dots. He stumbled backwards and then slowly turned around before walking away from Moon in silence.
Moon watched as Sun walked away, "It's okay to hate me..." His voice was loud over the rain.
Sun paused and glanced back at Moon, staring at him for a moment as he contemplated his next words wisely, "I just need a min- uhm..." He paused again and then just let his arms hang loosely, "I'm just gonna go home..." He slowly nodded his head and then turned back to walk out of the gates to head back home. He needed to think.
"Sun you can't..." Moon protested as Sun disappeared behind the gate.
"Sun!" Moon called out again, knowing Sun wouldn't walk back.
Moon sighed and stood where he was for a moment. He looked up at the sky as the rain cascaded down on him, soaking him through and through. Then he shook his head and walked back to the house.
"Back to training..." Moon put Sun in the back of his mind as he walked back into the house to continue learning magic.

Chapter Text
Moon walked into the bright and colorful daycare looking for Sun. It had been maybe two or three weeks since they'd last been there. They were so busy with Eclipse. Too busy with him. And Eclipse was starting to sprout problems into Sun and Moon's relationship that he didn't even start himself.
"Stupid Moon... Why'd you open your mouth?" He mumbled under his breath, berating himself for making Sun angry at him for telling the truth about how Eclipse even started, "Why did I say all of that?"
Moon walked further into the daycare, glancing around, trying to see if his brother was there. If not then he was probably at the bunker that they lived at.
"Sun?" He called out, not getting an answer.
Moon found Sun sitting on the plush-like border that was around a little play space. Sun was just sitting there, looking lost in thought as Moon approached.
"There you are. You're quiet." Moon said.
Sun looked up at Moon with no emotion, slowly coming back to reality, "You came here." He retorted simply.
Moon crouched down to be at Sun's level and kept his gaze on Sun as he steadied his voice, "I know you probably don't like me right now after what I told you that I did."
"You said so yourself that Eclipse exists because he's a code that you left behind." Sun nodded.
"I didn't think it would do anything." Moon replied, "I thought it would just go to sleep and that you would just have the empty space. I didn't want to hurt you, I've never tried to hurt you."
"I don't know, brother." Sun cut in, "It just feels like at the time that... you did. And now all of this stuff is happening and I don't know how long it'll be until he tries something again and... that thought's scary." He whispered the last part as he stood up.
Moon listened to what Sun had to say, "That's understandable. I'm not going to tell you how you should feel because what I did and what I've done is wrong. I never considered you and even thought I did it, it still hasn't changed anything. I'm still going back to the same old me. Because that code is apart of me, and it's going to start growing inside of me again..." Moon revealed.
Sun was taken aback by the revelation, would that just mean another Eclipse on their hands?
"We can stop it though... Right?" Sun asked, he wanted that reassurance.
"No. It's apart of me. You cant get rid of something that's apart of you." Moon answered, "And you couldn't get rid of me because I was apart of you... And still technically am, just not directly."
Sun felt like it was a lot to take in at once but he understood what Moon was telling him, "Okay..."
"You probably hate me... I hate me." Moon muttered.
"I don't hate you." Sun reassured.
"Why not?"
"I just wish you'd told me earlier! That's it! I understand why you did it, you-"
"That I was a coward?" Moon hissed.
Sun blinked and the shook his head in disbelief, "You're not a coward, you're the bravest guy I know!"
"Sun. I was so afraid of losing myself in my actions that I was willing to potentially sacrifice who you were." Moon argued over the label Sun gave him.
"That doesn't make you a coward..." Sun tried to not let Moon downtalk himself.
"What does that make me? Selfish?" Moon shot back, "Rude? Insecure?"
"You're not selfish- Brother." Sun put his hands on Moons shoulders, "I understand all of these things that went through your head, you said so yourself, we're both basically the same person or mind or whatever at some points. I appreciate it actually, it means you really tried to be something better!"
Moon nodded, "I did."
"And you still are trying!" Sun splayed his hands out.
"Look what it's doing." Moon crossed his arms.
"Stop it!" Sun didn't want Moon to keep thinking of himself like this, it was unhealthy, they both probably knew it.
"Can I tell you a quote from something that I feel attached to?" Moon asked seriously.
"Macbeth??" Sun blurted.
Moon blinked, caught off guard for a moment, "No?"
"Okay- Sorry."
"'If you expect disappointment, you will never be disappointed.'" Moon quoted, "I expect myself to do the wrong thing so that when I do do the wrong thing it doesn't surprise me." He explained.
"Well, stop expecting yourself to do it then!! The mentality of expecting it willl make you do it!!" Sun said wisely, Moon started walking away as Sun continued, "The only thing I'm mad at is that I wish you would've told me! Cause then maybe I would've... expected it?" Sun theorized.
"I don't know, it's not something that we could've predicted, Eclipse is his own issue."
"Brother, I still love you, and I still care about you, Whatever this whole thing is, you'll get over it. You will figure something out. I know you will." Sun smiled reassuringly at Moon.
"I will. For your sake."
"About that whole 'code thing' coming back from you or whatever it is," Sun made the hand gestures, "I don't think so."
"You don't feel it?"
"Feel what?"
"I feel it. Code." Moon said, "It's like a virus."
"Like it's trying to repair itself."
"Yes, like it's trying to make itself stronger."
"Tell me if it's a stupid idea but you know the same way Eclipse took over a bit of me and such? Well... What if we put some of me into you then?" Sun suggested, it was a long shot but it might work.
"You want to put some of your code in me?" Moon wanted to clarify.
"Like- To stop it! If that makes sense..." Sun nodded.
"Uhuh..." Moon thought, "I don't think that would work..."
"If you replace something that's supposed to be there-"
"It's not replacing it, it'll be adding onto it." Moon rejected Sun's theories, "If anything it would work itself around."
"Then we'd have another Eclipse situation..." Sun assumed.
"It would be a happier me." Moon agreed.
"There's enough personalities going around- I think three is enough!" Sun sighed.
"I will find a way to save you." Moon promised.
"I appreciate that." Sun felt their bond coming back together, then he changed the topic, "You know, I was gonna be in out old room initially but, they really cleared it out!" Sun pointed to the room that was above the ball pit which had a very hidden yet plain sighted doorway that led to it.
"Yeah, I've seen." Moon shrugged.
"I guess there's not much else for us to do other than wait, I'll help in any way I can." Sun told Moon.
"I know. I will find a way, even at the cost of myself."
"No! Not even that! You're smart, I believe in you." Sun ad a grand gesture, "I always have! From the start!" Then he tilted his head, "You wanna go home?"
"Another quote, 'Home is where the heart is.'" Moon stated.
Sun frowned, "I don't consider this place home."
Moon chuckled, "That's not what I meant but sure."
"I get what you meant but I just don't really like living here, there's nothing in out room anymore" Sun pointed out.
"I hate living here." Moon grumbled, "Living here is awful!"
"Could be worse! I guess- Not really." Sun shook his head.
"For now... Are you okay?" Moon looked at his brother.
"Yeah... I guess I got a little hurt." Sun answered, rubbing his arms with his hands.
"I can understand that. He's not doing anything, he's been just... quiet."
"Well, besides the one time he tried to come through, not really, he's been quiet."
"He said he was waiting for the perfect moment." Moon pondered on when that could be, "He had been already toying with us, sending us to those other places, like the SCP place."
"You think they're just tests at this point?" Sun wondered.
"I think they're just him trying to get some kind of amusement." Moon rationalized, "He doesn't care what happens to us, as long as you keep functioning. And me, he just wants to see me suffer."
"I guess there's not much else really that we can do for right now." Sun shrugged.
"I think we can head back to the bunker for right now. We don't need to head back to the manor." Moon agreed.
"I think we're fine anyways."
"I've at least learned how to get back there quicker instead of walking 12+ hours."
"Right." Sun swung his arms loosely, "Maybe we should get a car."
"That's expensive." Moon narrowed his eyes, "Car insurance is stupid."
"That's like 500 a month?" Sun calculated, "If we get a right car."
"Yeah, not including the car itself, and inspection..."
"If you get a loan it's fine!" Sun pointed, then he sighed, "We're getting too deep into this discussion."
"Yeah, you're right. Well, I think we would both rather be in a place we're more comfortable in." Moon commented.
"Than here?"
"Yeah, and the manor." Moon added.
"It's been raining the entire time we've been there." Sun rolled his eyes.
"Raining plus the mentioned spirits."
"I think that those spirits were watching me sleep or something, it was really weird." Sun shivered at the thought.
"Whatever, let's just get back to the bunker." Moon turned and went out the daycare to head to their house, Sun following behind.

Chapter Text
Moon went to visit Monty after Monty had called him over to his place, or Monty's Gatorgolf. Monty was fixing up the place to remake his Monty Gatorgolf business, which costed a good 10 mil- 35.4 million dollars. Which came from him selling the government things that he found in other dimensions. But even with that he didn't bother to pay the electricity bill.
Monty showed Moon around the place and mentioned how Roxanne had changed. Moon said that he knew but asked how exactly she changed to which Monty replied that she was a lot nicer, almost like Sun.
Moon brought up if Monty remembered when Sun beat the hell out of him and cracked the wall open and then explained that Sun had another personality, or Eclipse. Monty acknowledged the wall, and how it still wasn't fixed, but dismissed the Eclipse thing until Moon said he could change people personalities, and make Monty smarter.
Monty asked Moon if he wasn't smart enough and showed Moon one of the things he made which Moon admitted did look good but that Monty needed a shower or something since he was dirty. Monty mentioned that he actually needed repair because he had cracks on his plating which was caused by... Exploding play-doh. But that he was tough because he wasn't decommissioned from that
Moon commented that he'd laugh the day that Monty lost the bottom half of his body. Monty said that it would probably never happened and changed the subject back to the play-doh and that Fazbear actually liked Montys idea of it, if it cut costs of actual water. And then that he called Moon move because he needed more money.
Only 80 million! Moon was absolutely flabbergasted, then to put the cherry on top Monty said that the place was only about 25% done. 25% done, and 35.4 million dollars had already been spent.
It made Moon feel a bit nauseous, and he tried to steer Monty away from spending so much for nothing by reminding him that he used the portal to get money and that that was money enough. But Monty decided to be stubborn and said that using the portal felt like cheating and he said that he'd instead inflate the value of a diamond and sell that before running off to get started.
Moon looked back at the work that Monty had done. When Monty was finished maybe this actually could be profitable he thought before leaving to tell Sun about it.
Sun and Moon walked into Roxanne's room. The place where her white couch was had plushies of herself littered there on on the birch table in front of it. Above the couch was her name in neon lights and in an aesthetic font. The whole room was purple wile the ceiling glowed a soft green and the carpet had green stars and her marketing cartoon character plastered all over it.
Next to the couch was a light stand and next to the table was her green and red racing car.. In the corner of the room was a mirror shaped like a star and on the other corner was an arcade machine and in between both corners was a silver corridor that led to the backroom where she would charge. The walls were decorated with things correlating to racing, like checkered winning flags, giant to small car wheels, steering wheels, and even some wrenches.
But Roxanne was no where to be found.
"I can't believe I lost the flowers..." Sun sighed.
Moon looked at Sun and groaned, "Why am I here??"
"Because I need support!" Sun whined before reasoning with Moon, "Considering the fact that I like Roxanne and all that, I just need it. I have no confidence for this."
"Yeah yeah yeah..." Moon glanced down at Sun's hands, "What happened to the flowers?"
"I don't know! I lost them on the way here!" Sun frowned, "You don't think that... Eclipse tried to take over again-
"I don't think so." Moon replied.
"It wouldn't be the weirdest thing..." Sun played with his hands.
"Did you feel extreme amounts of pain at any point?" Moon crossed his arms.
"No."
"Then it wasn't Eclipse and you probably just dropped it." Moon shrugged.
"No..." Sun shook his head and then went and sat on the white couch that was pointed to the door they'd just walked in from, "I have no idea where Roxanne is." He gestured to the mirror, "She's usually looking at herself in the mirror, combing her hair for the thousandth time in a row. She's probably just out doing something though... I'm gonna ask her on another date! Well, like without Gregory... I'm gonna take her to Disney World!"
"That's pretty expensive." Moon mentioned.
"You remember that whole dimensional diamond thing that you told Monty about? Well I may have... done... a little exploring in the diamond world thing..." Sun admitted.
"YOU COMMITED FRAUD!?" Moon exclaimed.
"It's not fraud!!" Sun defended himself, "It's an actual diamond!!"
"Not from this dimension! So, in a sense it's fraud!" Moon retorted stubbornly.
"Well, I still did it! I only got 10,000 dollars, that's about it!" Sun sighed, "Right now I'm just going to wait for Roxanne."
Roxanne finally walked into the room after who knows how long. But she walks in with... Glamrock Freddy.
Roxanne giggled, her voice sounded softer in a way, "I really enjoyed my day with you, Freddy. Thanks for dropping me... off..." She trailed off as she turned to look at her room to find Sun and Moon there, "Oh."
"Hi..." Sun said uncertainly.
"I didn't know you were expecting guests today." Glamrock Freddy turned to Roxanne as they walked further into the room.
"I.. Wasn't expecting guests today actually, what a pleasant surprise!" She smiled, "Welcome."
Sun and Moon greeted her, Sun sounded less enthusiastic.
"Hey! Did you go visit my dad, Golden Freddy?" Glamrock Freddy exclaimed.
"Yeah, we found him. He was really... something." Sun answered.
"He's like that." Freddy rubbed the back of his head, "Did he help you guys?"
"He actually helped a lot!" Sun replied.
"I know magic now, he taught me." Moon nodded.
"What!? I've been practicing that stuff for years! I never was able to pick it up." Freddy was surprised.
"He also showed us your room!" Sun added.
"Do not mention what was in that room." Freddy pointed at Sun.
"What was in that room?" Roxy prompted.
"I went through an edgy phase." Freddy sighed, disappointed in himself.
"I'd have to visit sometime soon." Roxy said thoughtfully before turning to Sun, "Sun! It's really nice to see you again! The last time I saw you you were... Eclipsed?"
"Huh??" Sun blinked.
"Right, you don't remember that." Moon said.
"Well, Eclipse was very very nice and it was a pleasure to meet him!" Roxy sounded pleased with herself, but not in her usual 'I'm better' way... "I didn't know you guys had a third brother!"
"He was nice??" Sun was confused and he stood up from the couch, the guy was snarky and mean from what he'd heard.
"Don't call him out brother..." Moon hissed firmly.
"She's still in denial about the whole maternity chip thing..." Freddy whispered to Moon.
"Is there always gonna be whispering when I'm around Freddy?" Roxy asked with her hands on her hips, "Is it about that chip again? I'm telling you there's nothing of the sort! Eclipse just helped me out a bit is all!"
"That's a lie." Moon called it.
"It's not a lie! It's the truth!" Roxy insisted, her voice was still calm and steady.
"I spoke to Eclipse directly and he told me that he changed your personality." Moon retorted.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Roxy crossed her arms.
"From what me and Monty were able to gather, it's basically a conversion chip from the nanny robot that got canceled since you two deemed it unnecessary." Freddy explained.
"You are a bit different... Usually you'd be yelling at Freddy right about now." Sun pointed out to Roxy.
Roxy looked confused, "Why would I ever yell at Freddy?" Then she looked at him lovingly and held his hand, "We're in love!"
Her revelation sent a shock through Sun and Freddy looked uncomfortable, sensing the sudden tension. Sun just stared blankly at Roxanne. He had no words to say. What could he say? Nothing... There was nothing he could say.
"What's wrong?" Roxy then put two dots together and frowned at Sun, "Oh, Sun." She went up to him, "I know we had a little thing going on and that you had a little crush on me and it was very wonderful spending time with you when I did! But after that visit with Eclipse... He just... really opened my eyes!" She looked at Freddy, "Freddy keeps calling it a maternity chip but I think I just had a little change of heart!"
Sun felt his heart sinking deeper and deeper from every single word that came out of Roxy's mouth as he stood still, his hand frozen in the air when he was going to make an objection.
Roxy continued, "I see the world for what it truly is now! So, I hope you're not upset." She offered a small smile.
Sun kept staring at her, a sense of longing in his eyes as he saw every feature on her face from where she stood in front of him, "I thought we were.... I thought- But- He..." Sun stammered, trying to ground himself and find the right words but it never came to mind.
"My memory isn't as good as it once was and I can see that you're upset, but I had wanted to tell you about this in person formally, because I wanted to invite you both and Eclipse to the wedding!" Roxy announced.
"The wedding?" Moon exclaimed.
"Yeah... We're engaged..." Freddy confirmed.
"Freddy is very excited about it." Roxy giggled.
"Certain events happened, I'd have to sit down to explain everything." Freddy shrugged.
Sun's expression was unreadable. He didn't know what to do now with all of this information bombarding him with loud harsh emotions, heartbreak, sorrow... longing... the list could go on. But he also felt... A burning anger.
But in that moment, instead of acting on his anger, he just walked forward, pushed himself between Freddy and Roxy to get to the door to the room, "I'm just gonna..." Then he brightened for a moment before it was quickly snatched away, "I brought- Oh... Actually it doesn't even matter now that I think about it... I'll... I'll go..." Sun walked out without another word, without so much as a glance. He didn't even wait for Moon.
"I think you're gonna have to talk to him." Freddy said to Moon.
Moon groaned nervously, "I'm aware. Well, thanks for the invitation, I'll see what we can do about it." He said before chasing after Sun.
Moon walked into the daycare and looked around, trying to find his way through the ballpit when he quickly spotted Sun on top of one of the play structures of the daycare, holding a Roxanne plushy.
"Really?" Moon asked.
"What?" Sun snarled, looking up at him.
Moon put his hands up in mock arrest, approaching the play structure, "Never mind, I won't judge. You okay?"
Sun let out his feelings, "She didn't even tell me anything! I thought we were going to become something!"
"She probably couldn't tell you because of that stupid maternity chip from Eclipse." Moon called out from the bottom of the play structure.
Sun shook his head, "Why does he hate us?"
Moon climbed up the play structure to join Sun, "That's a great question. Maybe he's jealous."
"You think he's jealous that I could've had something with Roxanne?" Sun asked sadly.
"He probably jealous that we have things." Moon reasoned.
Sun frowned, "I'm not gonna lie, I felt a really intense anger take over me when they started talking about marriage... I don't know if that was Eclipse or not."
"Well, it's not often that you have anger, it's most likely that Eclipse intensified your anger." Moon shook his head, then they both stood up, "Brother, that's not Roxanne."
"I know it's not Roxanne!" Sun said with annoyance before tossing Roxanne's plushy off of the play structure before sighing, "I just wish we had better luck."
"Better luck?" Moon raised his eyebrow.
We were born together, made together, and then we separated and now I have THIS IDIOT in my head!" Sun pointed up at his head with both hands.
"Luck has nothing to do with it." Moon said simply, "Actions have effects and they have consequences even if we don't really seem deserving of it. But it's the actions that we took that caused them. We could have been better, I could have been better. But we can't focus on the past, it doesn't help us." Moon said wisely.
"I just wish I had a warning!" Sun flung his arms out, "Just getting married all of a sudden I thought maybe that'd be me one day!"
"You don't have to go to the wedding if you don't want to." Moon mentioned.
"She'd be upset if we don't go though!" Sun protested.
"Honestly, she only really seems to care about Freddy." Moon crossed his arms, "If we don't show up, they wouldn't care."
They both got down from the play structure and Sun looked at Moon, "Can we go home now?"
"In a bit, I need to use the equipment here." Moon said before making his way over to the security desk.
"For what???"
Moon looked back, "If it's a chip I can turn it off!" Moon theorized.
"I'm not sure if you'll be able to turn it of though..." Sun doubted as he followed Moon.
"Well, we won't know unless I test it!" Moon stated, "But it probably won't work until after their wedding. But, divorce is a thing! Now, to the lab!"
"The lab." Sun echoed in a less enthusiastic tone than Moon.

Chapter Text
Sun and Moon walked into the Plex discussing money before talking about how they can clean up for the kids. Sun made a comment about how he could take care of the kids while Moon could do... Moon things, like sleep and make high military grade hardware that he sometimes makes randomly. Like physics guns.
Sun argued how Moon also made a dimensional portal too and then Moon brought up Roxanne and asked if he was still okay with being around her. Sun said he'd be fine and that he has to work with her because it's just a job thing. Sun runs off to get a few things and leaves Moon in the main entrance.
After a few moments of Moon looking around, Monty bursts in with another favor to ask, other than the million that Moon had already given. Monty explained how Circus Baby hired him to go and break up Roxanne and Freddy, and that he's gonna need the help of Eclipse for his plan.
Moon is skeptical, because why would Eclipse agree to help when he was the one who caused all of this in the first place. Monty doesn't have an answer and then says that he'll beg instead if a request doesn't work and that Circus Baby will pay him a very generous amount of money to do it.
When Moon is still refusing to agree with Monty's plan, Monty starts just begging Moon to agree and that he needs the money. After hearing that Monty would do anything Moon wanted, Moons interest piqued and he decided to hear Monty out by giving a few demands before Moon lets Monty talk to Eclipse.
One was simple, don't piss off Eclipse, because he couldn't promise that if Eclipse got mad he wouldn't try to destroy Monty, and everyone else. Two was to keep this a secret from Sun because if Sun finds out he would get made and Eclipse would take over.
Three was that Monty would have to ask permission before selling or using anything that's Moons, Monty was a little irritated but agreed to do that. The last condition was that 20 percent of the earnings from Monty's Gatorgolf business would go to him, because as much as Moon hated to admit it, the Gatorgolf was probably going to succeed.
Monty easily agreed to all of Moons conditions, Moon made sure that Monty knew that if any of the demands listed were broken that he would tear apart Monty limb from limb, or go to the wedding as the flower girl. Monty became determined not to let Moon down and not become some girly flower girl because he was the BEST man there ever was. Then he ran off to make Moons contract for the Gatorgolf earnings and also try to persuade Eclipse to crash the wedding.
Moon walked into the daycare's lobby, looking around at the checkin desk and the double statue of him and Sun.
"Okay, he should be done." Moon commented, Monty had talked to Eclipse earlier and Moon hoped for the best.
Just then, Monty ran into the lobby, panting and throwing stuff out of his way to get to Moon before the words tumbled out of his mouth in an almost frantic way, "OH HEY MOON!! How are you doing? You look great by the way!! I love the whole jester thing you've always got!!!"
"You saw me like three minutes ago..." Moon pointed out.
"I don't know what you're talking about!! I just saw you now! Speaking of now, uh, your brother, he's gone a bit cuckoo in the head..." Monty said.
"What did you do!?" Moon growled.
"I didn't do anything! I had a simple talk and then we didn't agree to anything so it's completely fine!" Monty weakly reassured Moon, "I'm gonna go ahead and get out of here while you deal with that! I don't know what to do, I feel like he'd gonna kill me if I say the wrong thing!!"
"You're not gonna get your money." Moon frowned.
"I thought we made an agreement!!!" Monty was shocked.
"Part of the agreement was that you didn't make the wrong person come out." Moon pointed out crossing his arms.
"Can we discuss details at a later date-"
"Get out." Moon interrupted.
"Okay." Monty sighed before walking out of the daycare, "Good luck with that whole thing..."
Moon took a deep breath and then groaned at the work he'd have to do to try and get Eclipse to leave. He started to make his way over to the daycare, trying to formulate a plan.
"Sun? Eclipse? I don't know which one is awake!" Moon called out into the daycare once he entered.
He looked around, "Hello?"
Sun appeared out of no where, making Moon jump back, "Hello."
"Okay- Hi..." Moon was already suspecting it was Eclipse.
"Brother!! You look great as always!" Sun smiled, his head twitching.
"The abrasive head movements are immediately off-putting." Moon commented.
"Of course they're off-putting!! He's fighting." Eclipse snorted.
"What'd he say?" Moon asked.
"Which one are you talking to right now??" Eclipse's voice was strained as he tried to keep Sun away from control.
"Sun give me five minutes." Moon narrowed his eyes as he used the magic he'd learned from Golden Freddy to try and forcefully kick Eclipse out.
Eclipse fought back, "You sure seem to have a lot of control over your brother..."
"Yeah, something you wish you had. Now shut up and listen, what did Monty say and what'd he do?" Moon questioned.
"He said he wanted me to remove my little control over Roxanne, which is something I don't want to do. Then he started talking me down and that just made me really angry and then I got out." Eclipse answered with a casual shrug, "And your brother's really good at trying to hold me back, but I don't think that at this point that golden idiot's magic works."
"We'll find out later if you refuse to go back." Moon hissed.
"I don't want to go back." Eclipse protested, "I don't feel like going back!"
"Neither did I." Moon rolled his eyes, "But it's not your body."
"Why'd you change?" Eclipse growled, getting into Moons face, "It could have been ours. This whole thing, you could have forced him to stay shut to stay quiet. So why separate? Why leave me behind?"
"This isn't a matter of control."
"Oh when isn't it with you?..." Eclipse backed up, "Really! When isn't it with you? You love to take control of him, the only reason you didn't is because he FOUGHT BACK! You understand that right?"
"To an extent, yeah. You want to forge your own path, be your own person, your own body. Well guess what, buddy? You got those once from me." Moon got back into Eclipse's face, "Everything you want is the things that I got rid of, because I grew up."
"What, are you calling me a child now?" Eclipse asked in a bored tone.
"Yeah. Because you have abandonment issues." Moon shook his head.
Eclipse opened his mouth to reply and then shut it again before huffing, "I probably do, that's fine." He shrugged, "And now I have anger. We could've done a lot together! THE TWO OF US! Not some showboat daycare attendant!!"
"Yeah? What, go around the country ruining the Fazbear more than it already is? More killer animatronics on the loose!" Moon said dramatically.
"Mmm, you would've liked it though." Eclipse stated, "Now you've gotta deal with idiots like him." He chuckled, "Montgomery Gator. The lowest tier of intelligent life! In any animatronic! In any show thing you're doing! You know, besides the one guy." He referred to Sun with a smirk.
"Sun, let him stay out for just a little longer, we need to talk to this thing." Moon told Sun.
"I told you I'd come back at some point but that time is not now." Eclipse spoke, "And it won't be for a while. But Monty? He wants a deal!" Eclipse laughed before adding, "If I'm being honest, I might take it."
"What did he offer you?" Moon asked curiously, whatever it was it must be valuable-
"A piece of your tech." Eclipse answered simply.
"What piece of my tech???" Moon was suddenly defensive, there was lots of things that Moon had that could be of aid for Eclipse.
"Don't worry about that for now. Maybe sort out the details with him!" Eclipse replied vaguely, "Now, I believe you can have your little brother back!"
"Then shut up and hand him back over." Moon growled.
Eclipse rolled his eyes and then let Sun take over.
"Egotistical maniac..." Moon muttered.
Sun flailed his arms around as he was suddenly thrown back into reality, the embers of the mindscape fading away as the bright colors of the daycare surrounded him, "Ah!" He looked around and tried to reorient himself when he spotted Moon, "Hi- I'm sorry, I tried to fight him off as best as I could!" Sun apologized.
"You're okay, it's fine." Moon promised, "It's not your fault, it's mine."
Sun was confused on why Moon was blaming himself for one of his episodes, "How is it your fault???"
"Because I let Monty try to talk to Eclipse." Moon admitted.
"Why?? You let the second dumbest animatronic do that??" Sun wondered how Moon could make such a mistake.
"Who's the first?" Moon tilted his head.
"Funtime Freddy." Sun replied simply.
"Fair enough. But yeah, I did."
"Why?" Sun repeated.
"Monty was hired by Baby I guess to try and get the maternity chip out of Roxanne because apparently she's not happy with it." Moon explained.
"What? Wha- Uh, I don't know why! But uh, uhm... Uhhh... Maybe we can get Monty to get- Uhm." Sun tried to think straight without thinking about how Roxanne was making him feel and how she hurt him.
Moon stopped him quickly, "Wait, let me finish. After that, Monty came to me to get my permission to talk to Eclipse, and I gave him permission with the addition of some rules. The first rule was to not piss you off."
"Well, he didn't make me angry, I think he made the other guy angry..." Sun pointed out.
"Putting you both into account." Moon clarified, "But apparently Monty made a deal with Eclipse. He'll get rid of the chip in exchange for a piece of my tech."
Sun paused, "A piece of your tech? What kind of tech though??"
"That's the thing, I need to now go find Monty and figure out what he put up for trade, because depending on what it is, we could be in serious trouble." Moon thought out loud, "And, Eclipse knows of some tech that I've made in secret since he has my memories."
"That's bad, obviously.." Sun winced.
"So if he knows about some of that tech, he could hurt a lot more than just us and Roxanne..." Moon said gravely.
"You don't think that Monty's just hiding in Gatorgolf or something?" Sun asked.
"I will strangle that gator." Moon hissed.
"I should clean up a little." Sun commented on the mess that had been made of the daycare, barrels had been strewn about.
"Yeah, the kids will be here soon." Moon nodded, "I'll be back soon, maybe a little after lunch." He promised.
"Alright. Good luck then, I think." Sun waved Moon off as Moon walked out of the daycare to find Monty.
Moon walked into Monty's Gatorgolf which looked a little bit better since he last saw it.
"I have to find that stupid gator that I gave specific instructions..." Moon muttered before calling out, "MONTY?? GATOR FACE! COME OUT!"
He walked around a little more until he came to a small gold course and saw Monty just standing there acting like a statue, "Hi! I'm not that dumb."
"If I just don't move he'll go away." Monty said to himself.
"You just spoke." Moon crossed his arms.
"Hello kids! Welcome to Mongomery Gatorgolf Number Four!" Monty said in an announcer voice.
"Put your arms down before I snap them off." Moon growled.
"Okay hold up." Monty put off the act, "First off, mistakes were made! Cleared it up!"
"Shut up." Moon hissed.
"What do you want from me!?" Monty put his hands up.
"What. Piece. Of my tech. Did you put up. FOR A DEAL." Moon gritted through his teeth.
"Oh- He wasn't supposed to- I didn't think he'd tell you about that... Uhhh... If I'm being honest, he asked for something like a Star... and that's it." Monty answered.
"Wait..." Moon searched his mind, 'Star'... It sounded really familiar... Then it hit him. That Star.
"No... No. No no no no." Moon put his hands on his head, that was the worst possible outcome for this whole thing. Eclipse? Requesting the Star???
"You don't know how bad that is!" Moon looked at Monty.
"But, I get a cut from Circus Baby." Monty smiled.
"I'm going to strangle you..." Moon growled.
"No you ain't, cause I promise one thing- A couple things. First off, I'll make sure Eclipse gets that thing! Second-" Monty started.
"NO!" Moon stopped Monty.
"Sorry, I didn't realize it was your turn to talk." Monty narrowed his eyes at Moon.
"I'm saying, if Eclipse gets that, we're all dead." Moon warned.
"I don't think so entirely, it's just a star thing." Monty shrugged.
"It's called the Newton Star." Moon hissed, "I built it, it's essentially a bomb."
"Oh. Well I'm still gonna give it to him."
Moon continued, "It's a bomb that reprograms things."
"Uh... How bad?" Monty looked up at Moon.
"He can set it to do whatever he wants. Setting it off right now would send everyone back to square one." Moon explained.
"Which is?" Monty prompted.
"Which would make all of us forget about each other, forget every experience we've ever had since becoming self-aware, and just go back to being ai in a suit."
"That sounds really bad but Circus Baby promised me six million..." Monty said.
"You know what else that would do? It would put me and Sun back in the same body, and me back with Eclipse."
"I don't really care." Monty leaned against the wall.
"Which would mean that I would have all my homicidal code again and I'd still find a way to come kill you." Moon hissed.
"But I'll have six million and my Monty Gatorgolf will be finished." Monty shrugged.
"But if you forget everything you'll forget that you're doing this." Moon pointed out.
"Are you threatening me Moon?" Monty got into Moons face.
"No, I'm saying what would happen if Eclipse were to get the Star. You'd forget about Monty Gatorgolf, and you'd walk in and say this looks hideous." Moon replied snarkily, "It'll also mean that you'll forget about all the money people owe you."
Monty started listing them off to himself and then he scattered out of the room.
"MONTY!" Moon chased after him.
"NO! I'M GONNA GET THAT- STAR THING! AND FINISH MY GOLD COURSE HERE!" Monty announced.
"No! No you're not!!" Moon stumbled after him.
Monty suddenly turned around and punched Moon. Which did absolutely nothing.
"Really?" Moon raised an eyebrow, "I can go get that Newton bomb, have it only set to you, and then you just become empty."
"What am I gonna tell Baby about how they're gonna get married anyways!?" Monty asked Moon.
"Monty. If Eclipse gets that thing there won't be a marriage!" Moon put his hands out.
"That's good for Sun!" Monty retorted.
"No, cause Sun would forget about his crush and Roxanne would still have the chip." Moon shot back.
"WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THEN!?" Monty snarled and then he sighed, "Okay, fine, get out!!"
Moon turned to walk out, "Now, you're not gonna talk to Eclipse anymore!!" Moon demanded.
Monty groaned, escorting Moon out, "Man, you're so pissy about things... Get outta here!!"
"Have fun paying for this yourself." Moon called out as he walked away.
"I WILL! I'LL HAVE ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD AFTER THIS VENTURE!!" Monty roared back, "JUST YOU WAIT!"
"You still owe me twenty percent!" Moon laughed as he walked out the door.
"WHAT!? TO HELL I DO!!!" Monty huffed.
