Summary
Megatron never turns down a dare, especially when his pride's on the line. This time, the challenge is outrageous: ask the eerie, infamous Soundwave out on a date. Easy... or so he thinks. But once the words are out, Megatron finds himself fighting an entirely different battle, convincing the guarded blue mech that his interest is real. Soundwave's walls are high, his distrust even higher, and winning that trust will take far more than charm. Now Megatron is caught in a new game, one where the stakes aren't just his reputation, but his spark.
Soundwave is the mech everyone avoids. Whispers call him cursed. Strangers hurl insults, or worse, as he walks by. His life is a constant gauntlet of cruelty, and the only shelter he's found is between the worn pages of his beloved paperbacks. When Megatron suddenly steps into his orbit, Soundwave isn't sure whether to brace for another blow... or hope for something he's never dared to imagine.
