   Summary

   The Storm had a way of contradicting the understanding people thought they had of basic principles: to the average person, the idea that time was linear; to the people of Apeiron, the idea that the Storm could be tracked and predicted; and to all that knew of the Storm, the idea that the Storm's impacts remained limited to their own universe.

   After facing this anomaly of a Storm, Aleph finds himself washed up on an unknown land with nothing but the clothes on his back, a 20-sided die, and the two separate consciousnesses in his head that never stop talking. Perhaps this new era will provide an opportunity for Aleph to finally find the transcendental truth he had been seeking—in the form of an altered (and more hero-centric) high school experience he had lost the chance to remember.
