Summary
Tooru hums, only half-listening. Somewhere along the way, Hajime’s palm has settled itself over the curve of Tooru’s cheek, thumb tracing over the line of his jaw.
Outside, people are probably wandering the streets while huddled in jackets to protect them from the morning chill. Or perhaps they’re sitting in cafés with mugs of steaming coffee to fight the cold, but right now, in this kitchen of their new apartment with the heater still in the stages of kicking in, Tooru feels warmer than anyone else.
“You’re smiling,” Hajime observes.
“So are you,” Tooru says back.

Someone shrieked and threw a pillow at Matsukawa’s face to get him to stop. Another someone hit the first someone with a pillow to get him to shut up. A third someone loudly declared a pillow fight.
