Clawed hands stretched open, as the ball of white spotted fur unfurled from its spot on the couch —unwinding from around Satoru's lean figure. With a long drawn out yawn, Satoru stretch his back next. The oversized snow leopard hybrid, slumped back against the side of the couch, while draping his lanky limbs over the throw pillows.
“Satoru…” a soft voice chided from across the shared apartment. Padding over quietly, a long black fluffy, white tipped tail brushed over the floor silently, flickering softly. Suguru's fox tail stopped its swaying, as Suguru came to stand in front of the couch, crossing his arms over his broad chest. The fox hybrid mustered up a serious expression —despite the way the corner of his mouth quirked upwards slightly.
“What?" Satoru whined, rolling onto his back, and continuing to squish Suguru's good throw pillows. Suguru raised a brow, cocking his head to the side, his dark hair fanned over the side of his face. “You're laying all over our good throw pillows?" Suguru tsked, furrowing his brows. Satoru smiled, spreading his arms “why don't you drop the whole serious act, you know you wanna join me." Satoru snickered.
Suguru rolled his eyes, before eventually relenting. He sank down onto the couch, wrapping two strong arms around Satoru's torso, and letting the palms of his hands rest on Satoru's shoulder blades. Suguru let out a content sigh, as if releasing all of his pent up stress with one breathy sigh.
Tucking his face against Satoru’s neck, Suguru’s body melded against Satoru's —heart to heart, Suguru allowed his eyes to drift shut, and his tail to drape over the snow leopard’s. Satoru grinned against Suguru’s neck, wrapping his own arms around Suguru, Satoru interlocked his tail with Suguru's —twisting the long fluffy tail to wrap around the fox’s.
Both laid there in quite silence, basking in each other's warmth, until their breathing slowed, and hearts beat in sync like a steady drum.
“Suguru… you awake?” Satoru murmured softly, weaving his clawed fingers through Suguru's dark locks, and stroking the foxes tall ears. “Hm?" Suguru hummed half heartedly against Satoru's chest.
“I love you."
Satoru sky blue eyes drifted upwards towards the ceiling. Coiling his tail tighter Suguru's. “Suguru?" Softening his voice, Satoru stole a glance at Suguru sleeping face. Satoru grinned, bringing his palm down to rest on Suguru’s cheek. Satoru leaned down placing a kiss on Suguru's forehead, before setting down himself with a content hum.
