“You told me—” Taehyung’s voice was raw, breaking, as he stepped forward. One slow step, then another. His words came like pieces of glass in his throat. “You told me some sweet guy hit your bike. That you overreacted. That he—he went out of his way to make it right. Bought you a brand new motorcycle. Your bike. Your winning fucking trophy.”
Another step forward.
“But what you failed to tell me…” Taehyung’s voice grew louder, harsher, his steps quicker now, “…was that you called him a slur. That you were a homophobic fuck to Park Jimin.”
He stopped right in front of him, so close their noses nearly brushed. His chest heaved, eyes burning with betrayal. Jungkook didn’t move, couldn’t move—head bowed, jaw clenched tight.
Taehyung’s shout ripped the air open. “Did you think I wouldn’t find out? Did you think I wouldn’t fucking care?”
