Summary
For Charlie Weasley, love was absurd and incomprehensible. That was until he first spoke to the stern Professor Snape, not within the confines of a classroom but in an empty corridor. It was that day that he realized he was capable of falling in love, but the object of his interest wasn't witches—as was the case with his friends—but wizards. Specifically, the damned stern, sharp-edged, and delightfully sarcastic Severus Snape.
There was one problem, though. He was too young for him. Far too young. This didn't stop him from confessing his feelings, hoping that perhaps during this conversation—awkward for both of them—he would learn the requirements for someone to be considered a potential partner by Severus.
And he succeeded.
Step by step, he checked off items from his to-do list, hoping Snape wouldn't get involved with anyone in the meantime. However, when he heard from Fred and George that Black, bloody Sirius Black, was starting to court his beloved... He came back with the intention of winning the one he cared about.
