    Jack watched him, terrified that this would be the end, this would be the moment Aster sliced through his throat.

    But all he did was place the knife to the side, picking up Jack's hands.

    He fought for only a moment, but Aster gripped his wrists tightly, and so he submitted. Aster leaned back, holding eye contact with Jack as he lifted Jack's wrist and pressed a kiss to it.

    Jack couldn't stop the tortured sound that left his lips at the soft brush over his sensitive skin, and Aster grinned, baring his teeth before moving to the other wrist and repeating the motion.

    And then he dropped Jack's hands, grabbing the knife as he got off the bed and walked out.
