Summary
So I'm taking a short break from shipping Danny and Steve in Oahu to stroll the straight side of the road. Why, because Chip Esten is adorable and I think I'm in love. I also think Callie Khouri, brilliant as she is, will always leave us wanting (and tuning in) and because of that, I ain't never gonna get enough Deacon and Rayna. Sooooooo I'm borrowing.
A Rayna/Deacon prequel. My fevered imaginings of how they met, based on clues from songs and storylines. (probably waaaaay off base) Property of said brilliant Callie Khouri, ABC and Mrs. Chip Esten (though if he's ever up for sale, I'm getting a bid in early) Un-betaed schmoop and they haven't even kissed yet - SIGH - apologies. Expect four (yep FOUR) chapters.
