Summary
When Aiku messaged back questioning why Sae was asking him of all people to move in with his younger brother, Sae merely responded that Aiku was the best vice captain he ever had, and for whatever reason, because of that, thought he'd be the most understanding of Rin and his…condition should Rin entrust him with that information. However, he hadn't elaborated any further on that, and Aiku didn't pry lest he came off impolite.
Back then, when Sae mentioned Rin having a condition, Aiku thought it was something more along the lines of social anxiety or general awkwardness. Something Aiku could work with.
Not fucking vampirism.
Or, Aiku tries not to concern himself too much with his new roommate's lack of appetite or tendency to hide away in his room, but circumstances change when he walks in on Rin covered in blood with a protruding set of fangs on display.
