Chapter Text
Jonathan and Sock had become friends. It was odd, all in all, being haunted by a demon that was waiting for him to dies, but then falling in love with that demon, was more odd. Then again, the two had always been odd. Jonathan, ever the apathetic, rule defining boy, and Sock, the kind and yet also homicidal demon, had bonded over a friendship that seemed to spark out of no where. And then, that friendship, grew into love.
They had never labeled it for some reason. Instead, they preferred holding hands and sneaking kisses when no one was looking. Holding each other in sleep, their restful bodies leaned up against the other. Despite never labeling it, they both knew they were dating. And with dating, came the realization that Sock and Jonathan were in two different worlds. No matter how much Jonathan hugged and kissed Sock, he would never be able to grow old with the demon, to get married, to show him to his Mom with pride. And Sock, stuck in this demon form, would never get to fully be with Jonathan. Because his job was his main priority, and the priority included hurting Jonathan.
They both knew their relationship was odd, and the more they thought about it, the more they had their doubts on if they could ever truly be happy together.
