Yoongi goes on a road trip, head empty as he cruises the road. He doesn't think, doesn't want to, as he tries to heal his broken heart after attending his first love's wedding with someone else. In a diner on the road, there is a server: Jimin. As Yoongi spends a couple of days in the motel and diner, he gets to know Jimin and what life is, in that godforsaken liminal space where time morphs into nothingness, where people only hang on for a handful of smiles. He can't get enough, quite honestly. There it is, then: Texas' sunset never was more beautiful if not filtered between Jimin's strands of hair and his golden skin. And Yoongi almost forgets why he even left his hometown.
