    Leon had stopped counting days but he knew he’d been here for months. Yet he was no closer to finding a way out.

    The effects of the plaga were getting worse. Wherein before he could sense Krauser outside the door right before he walked in, now he could sense him already miles away. He knew Krauser was coming home long before he did. Every single time a pleasant haze started slipping into Leon’s consciousness, cradling him and then infusing itself into his mind.

    Leon welcomed Krauser, now. His heart skipped, butterflies in his stomach. Leon wanted nothing as much as he wanted to please Krauser, and he would do anything in his power to make that happen.

    Except that was only when Krauser was around. When Krauser was away, Leon wanted nothing more than to break free, wanted to run and get away, reclaim his freedom.

    When Krauser returned, the mere concept of freedom ceased to exist.
