People in the hallway parted to make room for the three freaks of the school: Wednesday, October, and Winter Addams, otherwise known as the WOW triplets, since their first name initials spelled out WOW. Wednesday was the oldest, October the middle, and Winter coming out of the womb last.

Well, people used it to mock them, since they were always together. However, October had easier time making friends, compared to his sister, but since he was a freak with even freakier sisters, he was normally shunned. Apparently, the only thing he was good was being brought home to scare parents and scare those parents he did.

She was usually mocked because of the clothes she wore.

She was also called Freak Eyes because of her two different colored eyes – her right eye being brown and the left eye being green. She thought it was cool, but since she was a freak, she mocked for it.

Winter eyed a small group of jocks who were laughing at something. There was a weird tapping noise coming from inside their younger brother, Pugsley’s, defaced locker.

The bell rang and students, minus the triplets, started heading to class.

Wednesday opened the locker and a tied-up Pugsley, with an apple in his mouth, came tumbling out.

Winter took the apple out of Pugsley’s mouth as October made to remove the rope that tied up Pugsley. She set aside the apple and went to help October untie the ropes.

        “I want names,” Wednesday stated.

“I don’t know who they were, honest,” Pugsley replied. “It happened so fast.”

“Pugsley, emotion equals weakness,” Wednesday told him. Pugsley was whimpering, “Pull yourself together.” She ordered, “Now.” She helped untie Pugsley, but she threw her head back, like she was getting possessed, which would’ve been really cool, but it was actually because Wednesday had been having visions – sometimes of the past and present, but mostly of the future.

October had retrocognition, meaning that he could see events of the past when he touched things.

Winter had syncognition – meaning that she could see present events – which was stupid. Once during math class, she had a ‘vision’ of finding her history teacher and the science teacher, hooking up in the breakroom. However, she usually saw what October and Wednesday were up too.

Wednesday came too as the warning bell went off.

        Pugsley asked, “You okay?”

October and Winter were looking at Wednesday.

“Leave this to me,” Wednesday said, getting up.

“Wednesday,” Pugsley asked, “What are you gonna do?”

“What I do best,” Wednesday said, before leaving.

Pugsley looked at his two older siblings, “What is she going to do?”

Wednesday came too as the warning bell went off.

        Pugsley asked Wednesday, “You okay?”

October and Winter were looking at Wednesday.

“Leave this to me,” Wednesday said, getting up.

“Wednesday,” Pugsley said. “What are you gonna do?”

“What I do best,” Wednesday said, before leaving.

Pugsley looked at his two older siblings, “What is she going to do?”

“I don’t know,” October told Pugsley.

October was the one who most likely knew what Wednesday was up to.

Winter knew that October and Wednesday were closer to each other than they were with her. Most would’ve assumed that since she and Wednesday were girls, they would be close, but no, October and Wednesday were close. He and Wednesday both loved true crime mysteries, while Winter preferred psychological thrillers and cozy mysteries. October would blindly follow Wednesday wherever she went. Winter, usually, hesitantly followed because she didn’t want to get left behind. October put up more of a challenge when Wednesday tried to smother him in his sleep, or when she pushed him (and Winter) down the stairs to try and kill them when she found out that he and Winter were born alongside her because there could "only be one of us and it's me.”

Of course, it wasn’t to say that Wednesday didn’t affectionately try to kill her, Wednesday did, but apparently Winter wasn’t much fun as October.

Winter had a front row view of what Wednesday had planned.

        Well, sort of.

She had a vision of Wednesday was doing.

Wednesday was holding two clear bags filled with piranhas. When Winter squinted, she was pretty sure that the piranhas were hers.

“Yo, Dalton, look,” one guy called. “It’s one of Pigsley’s siblings.”

“Hey, Freak,” called Dalton. “This is a closed practice.” He was grinning, because ‘Freak’ was the cleverest insult her could think of. He added, “Where’s your Freakshow?” The other jocks laughed because, together, they had the collective IQ of a doornail.

Freakshow – meaning Winter and October, because Wednesday was obviously the Ringmaster of them.

“The only people who gets to torture Pugsley is me and our siblings,” Wednesday stated. She held up the bags of piranhas and it finally dawned on the jocks what they were – clearly not goldfish. And Wednesday dropped the bags into the swimming pool.

And the jocks were off swimming to the edges to get out as fast as possible.

However, Dalton did quite manage to the get out in time because he chose to use the ladder. The pool water around him turned red.

        “Miss Addams!”

        “Miss Addams!”

Winter finally came back and realized that the person calling her was the teacher, who was huddled with her students against the whiteboard in the classroom. Winter was smirking, which freaked out her classmates and teacher.

Instead of death, it was a ‘serious’ maiming. Winter couldn’t figure out how it was serious when Dalton lost a testicle. Sure, Dalton wasn’t going to have kids, but the world was better off without having mini-Daltons running around.

However, the police officers didn’t see it that way, considering in their words, what Wednesday was ‘attempted homicide’ and a judge thought that Wednesday needed ‘court-ordered therapy sessions.’

With another expulsion under Wednesday’s belt, with October and Winter tacked on because no one else wanted to deal with the ‘attempted murder’s siblings’ so, October, Winter, and Pugsley, needed to go to a new school too. It didn’t help that there was a possibility that the vengeful swimming team would’ve likely taken their frustration out on Winter, October, and Pugsley.

When October heard that Morticia and Gomez were planning on sending Wednesday to Nevermore Academy, he jumped up, saying he’ll go too. And because October offered to go, Winter said she’ll go too, even though there were uniforms and Winter didn’t want to wear a uniform.

So, the three of them were packed up and in the car, which was driven by Lurch with Pugsley in the passenger seat. Wednesday, October, and Winter in the seat opposite their parents, who were singing to each other.

They were so disgustingly in love with each other, it was beautiful in a way.

Morticia and Gomez started kissing and Winter took a book out of her messenger bag to read.

She heard thumps from the front, and she asked, “How many birds, Pugsley?”

        “Three,” Pugsley answered.

        “Nice,” Winter said.

Gomez seemed to notice Wednesday’s facial expression and sighed.

Morticia asked, “Darling, how long do you intend on giving us the cold shoulder?”

“Lurch, please remind my parents I’m not longer speaking to them,” Wednesday told Lurch. Lurch grunted.

        Morticia hummed.

“One of you two, please remind our parents that I’m not long speaking to them,” Wednesday said to her siblings.

“She’s no longer speaking to you,” October and Winter said in unison.

Gomez leaned forward to speak to Wednesday, “I promise, my little viper, you will love Nevermore.” He looked at his wife, “Won’t she, Tish?”

“Of course,” Morticia replied. “It’s the perfect school for her.”

“Why?” Wednesday said, “Because it was the perfect school for you? I have no interest in following in your footsteps. Becoming captain of the fencing team, Queen of the Dark Prom, President of the Séance Society which October wants to be.”

“I merely meant that finally you will be among peers who understand you,” Morticia stated. “Maybe you three will even make some friends.”

“I’d rather chew off my own leg than have friends,” Winter replied.

“Nevermore is like no other boarding school,” Gomez explained. “It’s a magical place. It’s where I met your mother.” They locked eyes, “And well fell in love.” They did some yearning sigh at each other and looked like they were going to start kissing again.

It was surprising that they had four children and three were in the same pregnancy. Although Winter was sure that Pugsley ate his siblings in the womb.

“You guys are making me nauseous,” Wednesday stated. “And not in a good way.”

“Darling, we aren’t the ones who got you expelled,” Morticia started. “That boy’s family was going to file attempted murder charges. How would that have looked on your record?”

“Terrible,” Wednesday replied. “Everyone would know I failed to get the job done. Just like how they know that I’m failing to get the job done with October and Winter.” She gave her siblings a death glare because they were still alive.

“You succeeded in killing Electric Shock Therapy,” Winter told Wednesday. She still wasn't happy that one of her piranhas had been killed.

        Morticia hummed at that.

Winter glanced out the window to see that it was cloudy outside.

They came through the school gates of Nevermore Academy when it started raining.

Morticia sighed, “At least it’s turning into a beautiful day.”

“I agree,” Winter replied as it sounded like bells were tolling and thunder rumbling as they came onto school property.

        They had finally arrived.
