“Why do you smell so strongly of lavender?" Seishiro asks curiously, peeking over a stack of papers Reo had just passed over for him to sort.
Reo is silent for a moment, quill stilling and leaving a black dot of ink behind.
"Because… that's my scent?"
Seishiro tilts his head. "Like.. perfume? Or cologne, I guess? Whatever brand you use must be great, considering you always smell like that, even after showering."
"That's not… have you never.. I.."
"—And it seems like it gets stronger when I'm around… Sometimes I can hardly breathe when you're nearby. It's… weird, for lack of a better word. How it makes me feel.." Seishiro lowers a hand to his stomach, where heat boils each and every time he catches a whiff of Reo's smell.
