Summary
Octavius had always been a hardened man. His upbringing left little room for debate in many things, from political debates to sexual encounters. But humans change, that's just a fact of life, but that doesn't mean that undergoing these changes meant that it was easy to do. Octavius was a stubborn man, but so was Jedediah, and what happens when two overly obstinate men get together?
A lot of arguing, that's what happens.
Still, they wouldn't really be themselves if they weren't arguing over every little thing, now would they? This is at least what Octavius thinks when, despite his stubbornness and hardened heart, he finds himself falling in love with Jedediah.
