    “…You can get off now.” Mydei’s fist clenches. His face looks flushed. Once more, Phainon’s mind wanders further down the rabbit hole.

    “…Mydei…” Phainon whispers. His foot skids on the ground so his knee replaces it. This makes Phainon’s head lower closer to Mydei’s.

    Before it can mean anything, Mydei’s eyes widen, and his free hand moves over Phainon’s mouth. “What are you doing?” He asks.

    Phainon’s brows knit together further. He looks like a pleading puppy. Now it’s Mydei’s turn for his heart to flutter. A loud silence hangs between them.

    “…Let’s go back to my room.” Mydei sighs.
