Summary
“If you really want to become a hero, there still might be another way,” Katsuki smiled, looking back at the trembling boy before him. He almost looked warm, smiling at Izuku like that, and for a moment Izuku almost convinced himself the mockery in Katsuki’s eyes wasn’t there. That maybe, just maybe, whatever words would leave his mouth next wouldn’t be negative.
“Pray you‘ll get a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof of the school.”
Ah.
That was that, then. The only advice Katsuki could give was for Izuku to end his life.
So Izuku did. And when he opened his eyes again for his supposed “next life,” he only saw the same quirkless, useless, Deku. And he wasn’t alive, either.
Now a ghost, it seemed Izuku was doomed to watch the success of Katsuki Bakugo as he pursued all of his dreams while Izuku was stuck watching from the sidelines.
That is, until Katsuki starts to actually see him.

Katsuki Bakugo facing the consequences of his own actions when Izuku’s ghost starts haunting him, except not everything with Izuku’s death is adding up and it’s starting to piss him off.
