Summary:

Ayano Aishi was one that was always surrounded by loneliness.

Yes she may have had friends- a small group of considered outcasts in their proceeding lifetime, but they didn't understand her like she wanted them to. They couldn't understand her empty heart that boated with blood and nothing else, but she also couldn't understand their bursts of emotions either. Her mother says she'll meet the right person one day, her father insists on her making friends and connections.

The first emotion she wants to learn is love, and she'll do her damn best to feel that emotion in order to be normal.

Hellu Hellu Hellu!

It is I, writing this short ass additional information that's DEFINITELY needed for context as to why some things in this AU/Rewrite of Yansim Pacifist mode is so different.

I don't like the lore for the actual game itself. I said it, yeah. The lore was just so weirdly convoluted and all over the place that- even though I, an avid yansim enjoyer(I do hate yandev though and do not support him, but he doesn't get profit from the game itself or from this fanfic) knows the entire lore now- refuse to use it in this AU/Rewrite I have in my mind. So, I made my own lore that diverges off from the main lore. I also try to keep some things in it that are from the main lore, but overall things like 'Basu Sisters being actual demons' and 'Fun girl' don't exist in this AU/Rewrite. No. There are "supernatural' stuff that happens in this, but it's more of "Oh a dead person is secretly guiding me" and not "Oh yeah these two girls are actually demons and there's this totally cool ending including them despite having no direct correlation to this dogshit lore".

That being said, there are some character changes too- some characters like the 'Bully Gals' will be changed, but not that much. There will be redeemable characters, but also non-redeemable characters. There will be morally-grey characters, but I personally feel like that makes them semi-relatable. Fan-favorite characters may change, some may not. Though, I can say this genuinely that I try not to make them too Out-Of-Character. I want them to feel like how they always are in the original game, but with more depth in them. Almost all of the characters in the game will be mentioned one way or another, and will have a small moment to each other the best possible way. Side Stories.

I'm personally writing this for fun as Yandere Simulator has been my childhood, and I am proud to say that it possibly has changed my life since I met so many new things just from it alone. I wouldn't have come across these content creators, and I wouldn't have find my passion in writing and video game development (I first started wanting to make a video game inspired by it, but I've branched off on working on original ideas too.) I wouldn't want to call this a rewrite alone as rewrites aren't gonna be all good to most people, I'm just writing this in how I wished Yandere Simulator was probably thought out as in whatever route the player chooses: Pacifist, Genocidal, Neutral, whatever. Hopefully, I actually see this to the end since I'm also writing a KnY fanfic too (It's been sitting in my drafts for months lol, I need to get on with that..)

But yeah, besides my yapping i'll get on into the timeline change (excluding the unnecessary information.) This was written a few months ago too, and taken out of my rant about yansim soo..enjoy!

The Lore WILL be changed.

I can't understand it at all.

I'm one for theorizing and such, but what would a MAJOR technology company in Modern Day Japan want with a woman who was the cause of the spectacle in the '80s? And then fast forward, they're apparently doing a deal with the Headmaster about Ayano (I'm guessing) attending Akademi Academy (Btw it's a really stupid name for a school..). I don't get it? Why have that unnecessary lore? What will it do for the game? I'm trying to muster up ideas and theories, but I'm not getting any. I'm open to speculation, really, but I absolutely do not have any clue as to how I can work with that lore.

EDIT :: I found out from the alternative ending that Ryoba used to be friends with Ichiko Saikou before her disappearance, and ALSO supposedly had a hand in it. So, that's probably why Ryoba's needed overseas, as she's the 'key' in finding back the precious daughter of the Saikou Corporation.

I'm guessing the 'deal' is that Ayano is able to enroll into Akademi (despite her average academics, and also her mother's background with the school..), in exchange for money? I guess? But yeah Ryoba most definitely made that deal with Saikou Corporation(or whoever is in charge fuckass...)

So, I'm changing it. I don't like how they're just EVERYWHERE. Everything is Saikou Corp made, and even the chainsaw that had the name of one of the 1980's rival (which, no surprise, they're also related to Saikou.)

Saikou Corporation will still be in this rewrite, but it won't be heavily centered around it. I have another way to center said corporation in the story, but that also involves me rewriting The ‘1980s Mode’ to fit the lore that I have in mind. I'm adding other companies that are fictionally-made, but it'll probably be easier to tell what they're inspired from.

I won't just LAY the lore flat out here, I just think that takes away whatever suspense and excitement from reading the actual story if you already had everything explained to someone like they're some braindead toddler.

What I will do though, is lay out the Timeline... because I also rewrote that to my liking.

I like rewriting things! (Plus, I'm taking these ideas from my own YanSim Inspired Game, so I hope whoever's reading these likes it.)

1949 ::

' Hana Sakushō Private High ' was built.

1972 ::
Third Child of the Aishi Family ‘Ryoba Aishi’ was born.

1988 ::
'Ryoba Aishi' attends ' Hana Sakushō High .'

1989 ::
The Famous " Shiroi Uso "  Case— a daughter of the famous electronic company; Saikou Corp was declared missing and last seen on school grounds— becomes National News, following the previous 10 deaths of students that seemed to be accidents.

1990 ::
' Hana Sakushō High' permanently shuts down due to the backlash and severe reputation blunder— with locals even calling it cursed and riddled with unsatisfied and vengeful spirits. The building is then torn down, and the lot is left unoccupied because of its undesirable backstory.

2001 ::
The Current Generation of the Aishi holds the fourth child of the Aishi Family— the first and only child of 'Ryoba Aishi' and 'Jokichi Aishi' :: 'Ayano Megumi Aishi'.

2004 ::
A High School is rebuilt upon the undesired lot that previously held 'Hana Sakushō High', it is named ‘Shinkouyuki High.' It has a low enrollment rate due to being stigmatized property/lot.

2017 ::
'Ayano Aishi' enrolls into 'Shinkouyuki High.'


The weeks are gonna be longer for some rivals because of their elimination being dragged out, along with like the school holidays/breaks too and such. I don't like that the game is over the span of 10-weeks- I'm gonna sound ridiculous, but I think it should include the weeks and days that have mandatory breaks in Japan (for gameplay versions, this could just include in-town activities that can both benefit the player in growing Ayano to have her own person and to also see town-exclusive events that they can use to their own abilities.). I also think that having weeks that don't involve any rivals that are after Taro, but instead to Ayano can give the player a sense of change instead of each week being the same 'eliminate rivals' shenanigans.

So, in this AU there are at least 15 weeks. I don't know if I added any more obstacles for Ayano yet. So give or take that amount.

Next, I'm ridding the nicknames in this school. Some names are taken from the Yansim Wiki. For example: Raibaru Fumetsu will be changed to 'Raiharu Fujin' which is literally just 'next spring wind', it's not a common japanese name, but I didn't want to make too big of a change that she'd be unrecognizable. I just think that a mom wouldn't name their child basically 'Indestructible Rival' and continue on with life. I'm still going to have Raibaru's name actually mentioned but for a good reason. Another example: Sakiyuu Basuoka(Sakyu Basu), and Inkyo Basuoka(Inku Basu) are also name changes. I try to keep the names as similar to the original as possible without sounding like a completely different character. I do like the nicknames but not that much, they feel icky.

And...I think that's all I got right now. Of course, I'll be in the authors note adding whatever other changes I made to clear up confusion if necessary. I'll get right on with the chapter. Happy reading.
