“Ever since you appeared in my life, everything’s been worse!” Namgyu’s voice echoed harshly across the rooftop, shaking with rage and grief. “Worse and worse and worse! You never respected me– you don’t fucking respect me now! Do you even know what the fuck you’ve done to me?” His throat burned, his breath hitching, but he couldn’t stop.
Tears blurred his vision, stinging, spilling despite the anger twisting his face. He kept speaking through the sobs, shouting over his own breaking voice. “The worst of it all is.. Fuck! I don’t– I don’t hate you. I can’t hate you. I hate that you left me. You left me all alone in there, in those fucking games!” His words shattered into sobs, heavy, ugly, pulling everything out of him. “You promised!” His voice cracked like glass. “You promised we’d get the fuck out of there with one billion won, together, alive. And you… you fucking left me!” His fists trembled uselessly against Thanos’ chest, his body wracked with violent sobs. “You left me all alone, Thanos… and it’s all your fault. It’s all your fucking fault!”
