Jimmy and Joel weren't that big on going to their college’s football games, but their whole friend ground had been going and they felt left out.
They eventually got really interested in their team.
So here the two friends sit, watching their team play against the best team in the league.
All their team needs is one more more touchdown and they win the championship.
Jimmy and Joel cheer for their team, shouting at the good plays, and groaning at the bad.
Jimmy enjoyed the warm presence of his best friend next to him, enthusiastically smacking his arm as a player runs with the ball, highfiving Jimmy when their team scores.
The blond’s heart pounds in his chest, he really loves Joel.
Joel’s chest aches with longing for everything, his eyes catch blond hair by his side, brown eyes full of life and energy as the taller man watches their college’s tear play.
The brunet has loved his best friend since they had high school back in England, before they graduated and moved to the USA to study together.
Joel’s eyes are focused on their team right now though.
He watches as their team scores the final touch down, right before the buzzer announcing the end of the game goes off.
Everyone cheating for their team stands up, celebrating.
Joel finds himself jumping up too.
He turns to celebrate with Jimmy and lips are on his.
Jimmy’s kissing him…

Joel leans into it, but the contact is broken by an embarrassed Jimmy, cheeks burning deep red.
“I’m so sorry, oh my gods, I should definitely not have done that. I’m so sorry Joel. I understand-” Jimmy rambles, flustered.
“Jimmy.”
“- if you don’t even want to talk to me again. Oh gods-”
“Jimmy.”
“I’m just so stu-”
Joel grabs the front of Jimmy’s shirt, pulling him closer, smashing their lips together in a messy but passionate kiss.
The brunet hears a quiet “Oh.” Squeaked out from Jimmy before the blond reciprocates the kiss, hands moving to Joel’s waist, holding him like he's his whole world.
When they separate it’s with red faces, panting breaths, shock, happiness, giggles, and continued with more kisses.
