Chapter Text
Angelica’s POV
My eyes snap open, my body aches as I look around. The walls are dark and damp, a shiver runs down my body from the cold. I can feel my blood seeping out of my body, forming a blue, glittery puddle beneath me.
I realise I’m in a cave. Now, I bet you’re thinking, Angelica, how’d you get here? Well, let’s rewind-
“Auntie!” I hear Lucielle’s familiar voice shout. What is she doing here?..
”Lucielle?..” I ask, going to sit up but my body refuses to.
Lucielle stands over me, her strawberry blonde hair falling into her deep green eyes. She scoops me up with surprising strength.
”Shh, Auntie, I’ll take you home. You rest.” She says. My body betrays me and closes my eyes for me again.
When I wake up, I’m in Lucifer, my brother’s, bed. His familiar black, gothic style a comfort. I can feel bandages wrapped around my chest tightly.
”Blasted Decay…” I mumble.
”Is that what did that to you?” Lucifer pipes up, sitting on the edge of the bed.
Lucifer is a 6 foot seven inches tall blonde haired man. He’s rather skinny for his height. His eyes are a familiar pink and he has his blonde hair pulled into a pony tail. He wears his usual combo, a unbuttoned suit and a white button up top.
”This? Oh, no. Just ripping through time and space reopened the wound they left…” I say, the previous events clear as day.
Lucifer tuts then says, “Where have you been? You’ve been gone for another thousand years.”
”I’m… sorry, Lulu. I got mixed up in some stuff and lost track of time.” I say sheepishly. Lucifer’s eyes soften.
”I.. forgive you… but the girls have been worried sick.” Lucifer says. I look to the door and spot all four girls, Elara, Lucielle, Lyra and Rhiannon. Lyra steps forward, her blue curly hair framing her face.
”We missed you, Auntie.” Lyra says softly.
”I… know girls, I’ll make it all up to you once I’m healed.” I say, bitting my inner cheek.
”Do you have any cool stories from where you went?” Rhiannon pipes up from the back, the other three girls groan affectionately.
“Course! Come here, I’ll tell you all about how I got my arse absolutely kicked by Kronos.” I say.
Lucifer hits my arm playfully. “Angelica! Language.” He scolds.
The rude language is lost on the girls as they run over, climbing onto the bed like they all used to do when they were younger.
“You fought the god of time?!” Elara asks, eyes wide with curiosity.
”Yep, and lived.” I say, leaving out the fact that I only lived because he let me.
Lucifer stands up and walks into the kitchen as I began to tell the girls the story.
What are you still scrolling for?
Do you think I have more to say?
Let me out.
Let me out.
Let.
Me.
Out.
