Pomni: “What would you do if I abstracted tomorrow?”
He turns around and looks at her.
Jax: “I'd move on, and probably forget about you.”
His right eye glitched and it was all black. A red text appeared in the middle of his eye. Pomni looked at it and started reading.
>Error:
> I'll always be alone. They don't care, they never did. I should just let her shoot me. She can win. I give up.
The glitch disappears and his eye turns back to normal. Was that real? Does he really think that?
Pomni: “Uh-”
Jax bends down and pulls the gun towards his head.
Jax: “Just pull the trigger. I'll be fine.”
Pomni looks at him and the gun in her hand.
> Do it. Do it. DO IT! I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING LEFT! HE'S GONE AND I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE ANYMORE!
The jester shoots him in the head. He falls backwards and hits the floor. Black liquid spills out on the tile and gets on Pomni's shoes.
She looks down at Jax. Somehow, his smile burns brighter in death. He looks happier.
Pomni: “No! Don't leave me! Jax, get up! You have to get up! Please, I need you!”
Caine appears and floats above the stage.
Caine: “And the Winner is- Pomni?”
Caine slowly flies towards her and puts a hand on her shoulder.
Caine: “He'll be okay. He's not dead, Pomni. It's only a few injuries, nothing we can't handle.”
Pomni pushes him away and runs upstairs to her room. The other members are teleported back to the main room and look at the purple body in front of them.
Ragatha: “What happened up here?”
Caine: “Uhh- It's nothing!”
He snaps his fingers. Jax is taken to the digital hospital. A group of mannequin NPCS appear in front of the stage and start cleaning up the mess.
Kinger: “Where's Pomni?”
Caine: “She left!”
Zooble: “She left?”
Caine: “Yeah, she's……”
Ragatha: “Is Jax gonna be okay?”
Caine: “He’s in the digital hospital right now."
Caine snaps his fingers, opens a portal, and sends them to a world that has a big white building in the middle of it.
Kinger: “Let's go see if we can find his room.”
The four members walk through the hospital and start looking for Jax's room.
The Amazing Digital Hospital
Room 001 - Jax
Ragatha opens the door to the small room.
Ragatha: “I found it.”
The purple rabbit is sitting up in the hospital bed and slowly turns his head to look at her.
Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, and Kinger walk in and sit down on the light green chairs that are standing in the room.
Ragatha: “Hey, how are you?”
Jax blinks and doesn't answer the question.
Ragatha: “Okay, um… Zooble, is there anything you want to say to him?”
She turns towards them and they nod.
Zooble: “What happened out there?”
Jax: “......”
Zooble: “Ugh, this is a waste of time!”
Zooble stands up and walks towards the door. Ragatha follows them.
Ragatha: “Zooble, wait!”
