Chapter Text
Lucy
Long pink hair (naturally platinum blonde), slightly curly and a bit messy
Dark eyes comparable to looking into an empty void, they have no light
Pale skin and freckles
15yo
5’2”
94lbs
Had a twin named Eliza, both kidnapped at 6 years old to take part in an underground black budget research program (project sunflower), with the goal to make “emotionally stabilized assets”. The idea was that if soldiers could remain calm, likable, and obedient they’d make for ideal tools.
Eliza had her ends dyed a fiery orange while Lucy had hers a pastel pink by the facility so it was easier to tell them apart
She was put through intense experimentation and psychological programming, could be comparable to torture
She was trained to react to intense situations with calm or cheer, crying or acting out of the desired result would be punished
When not being trained or cared for, the facility kept their subjects in dreamlike state (“floaty place” as she called it) to maintain control and decrease risk of aggression
it was basically an induced state that completely replaced normal sleep, so that the scientists could keep a closer hold on their mental and emotional states to prevent negative emotions while sleeping (it also basically stopped natural dreams from ever happening)
She was also put through intense cognitive and behavioral training
She oft wore a medical gown with cute patterns, bunnies, bows, or stars. Was made by the doctors with intent to make it less scary for the children.
She remembers getting gold stars for “good behavior”
Eliza was resisting too much, crying, fighting back, trying to protect too much, and so she was deemed as weak and a failure, her twin was then “punished”, her death being used as an example of obedience for Lucy.
(Lucy was made to watch as they beat her twin sister to death. It was one of her “corrections” that she couldn’t hold in her anguish for—and was later punished severely for it)
Lucy was deemed worthy enough to be “promoted” to stage 2 subject. As things were going, she was their prime soldier
Stage 2 consisted of biological/neurological experimentation to expand her abilities, while still keeping a tight leash on their control
Immuno-conditioning, brain rewiring, altered sleep cycles, and physical enhancements (mainly in the form of adrenaline, reaction time, and speed) via injections, surgeries, gene splicing, and other such experiments
They would also inject poisons into her for the sake of building up tolerance and testing current immuno-tolerance (i'm bullshiting vocabulary rn)
Lucy was always the more cheerful one while Eliza was the more defensive, defiant and even angry one, which is why her defiance couldn’t go unpunished.
Eliza was the 🌻🐝⛸️💣
