Chapter Text
Jax had left the show early, with a blank face and trembling hands, locked his door and collapsed on his bed, fighting tears and thinking about how much of an ugly crier he must be.God he was pathetic. His head stung and he felt nauseous but he'd rather pass out and not have to think about how horrible he is. He stared at the ceiling for a moment, just a moment. And a tear slipped and melted into his pillows, his face was still, no emotions showed the only sign of remorse was the tear stains beside his eyes. Had he realy made this mistake again? His breathing grew ragged but he stopped himself. "What's the point." He grumbled as he frowned, and closed his eyes. He hoped maybe if he abstracted in his sleep, no one would find him for at least a few days. It was early in the morning, or at least from what he could tell, when Jax heard a strange sound, he attempted to ignoring tossing in his covers, his face still wet from old tears, he groaned as he sat up in his bed and admitted he wouldn't get any sleep like this. Annoyed he stood up and rubbed his eyes as he sluggishly opened his door. His ears twitched as he attempted to figure out what it was.
His eyes widened. He stopped in his tracks, stumbling slightly. Sobbing. It was sobbing. Coming from Pomnis room. His vision grew blurry as a memory stung harshly in his head. Ribbit's cries and loud clashes and clangs echoed through their room as he stood there. HE. JUST. STOOD. THERE. His hand gripped his face as his breathing quickened. "No.. no no no" the words barely left his mouth sending his mind spiralling. Hes done it again. He's killed her, just like the others, thats all he does, is hurt people, he hurts and hurts and hurts. His breathing was as rugged and sharp as his cruel words. His heart and brain fought eachother as he tried to make sense of anything. Suddenly he realised the crying had stopped. He stumbled over leaning on her door his head staring at the floor like it was the only thing to cling to. "No... I-I cant lose her too-" his voice cracked as his body started to tremble. His knees met the ground as he toppled over struggling to breathe he huffed both his hands gripping his skull as if to rip it out and order his thoughts manually. He saw it in his head, if he opened this door, she would be...Pomni would be- no he has to try, he has to or he will end up regretting it forever. He stood up shakily his whole body felt weak, and took a long deep breath, closed his eyes, and pushed ever so lightly on the door.
