Summary
You rested the left side of your face against the cold window and continued blankly staring outside when something caught your eye. A kid, one you hadn’t noticed before, seemed to be sitting on the floor. They had their knees to their chest and their head downcast, obscured by the arms wrapped around their legs. You found this strange because this was your first time seeing a kid around your age doing this.
You stared in confusion at the scene before looking over at your driveway and then going to your closet. You slipped your shoes on and grabbed your translucent raincoat. The raincoat was fairly easy to put on and was also a little big, but it was a raincoat, so you didn’t mind. You scanned your closet before grabbing your small purse and an umbrella.
