The question on how Cole was single after all this time was a common one to the ninja but rarely asked. It seemed like everyone had someone, Zane and P•I•X•A•L, Jay with Nya despite jay's memory predicament, Kai had skylor, and even if he'll never admit it to the ninja when they ask (and already know) Lloyd has Akita. But Cole?
Sure Princess Vania was at one point but unfortunately he wasn't able to see himself in a relationship with her.. or any woman in general.
But after the merge and with how close he had gotten with the finders, the way the were his family and how Kai saw Cole react to the finders going hollow then how Geo reacted when the same happened to Cole the fire ninja began to pay more attention to the two
(We are pretending once they beat thunder fang for the second time nothing bad had yet happened)
Once everything was calm again Kai spoke to Cole while after her brothers nosiness managed to rub off on her, Nya went to talk to Geo.

"Come in" cole called back in response of the loud knocking on his door, unsurprised when Kai came in and immediately sitting on his bed
"Question" Kai started, not waiting for Cole to say anything before continuing "what's going on with you and geo?"
Cole turned from his desk to Kai, slight shock from the question lingering on his face "what's exactly do you mean by that?"
"You two a thing or what?"
Cole felt his face heat up but chose to ignore it, playing the oblivious route instead "a thing? I'm not sure what you mean"
Kai rolled his eyes as he flopped back on Cole's bed, "yes you do, if you not dating do you at least like him? Or I should ask if you've come to terms with it since- "
"Yes I know it's obvious but he doesn't know somehow. Does that answer your questions?" Cole sighed, burring his head in his hands. This whole conversation was pointless in his head, all it did was give Kai to talk about
"Almost, last one Kay?"
Cole gave no sign of response
"Taking that as an ok, last question is what you're going to do about it. If geo is dense you should take a good look in the mirror" Kai asked as he sat up, watching as Cole removed his head from his hands to look at him
"What- what are you trying to say Kai?"
"That your elemental powers are fitting because you are as dense as a rock. Make a move dumbass!"

Nya sat on the porch next to geo, handing him a cup of tea "don't worry, Zane made it, not mr. frohicky."
The reassurance caused geo to laugh before he thanked her "thank you, dose this have caffeine in it?" He asked
"Yeah? That a problem?"
"No no, I was going to see if spitz or Fritz wanted some but as you can see they already have plenty of energy" geo laughed again as he gestured to the two kid frack was trying to keep entertained
Nya smiled as she watched them for a few minutes then turned back to geo "I actually had a question about them"
"Oh? Ask away then"
"So.." Nya started, not knowing how to ask without it coming off weird "you're kind of like a parent to them right?"
Geo smiled at the thought "I'd like to hope so, and I think Cole thinks the same"
"Right, Cole is kind of part of my point here. So you two are their parents for the most part? Or I say that but pretty sure I hear them both call you and Cole dad atleast a few times" Nya chuckled as she corrected herself
"Yeah, I'd like to be able to call us that.. why do you ask?" Geo questioned, slightly confused at the water ninja's curiosity on the subject
"Well- and before anything I'm clarifying Kai has me up to this. Anyways, if you see yourself and Cole as there parents, dose that imply you two are together? Like romantically"
"God I wish- I mean.. he's-" geo started before realizing what he had just said then failing miserably at covering it up
"I'm taking that as no you not together" Nya sympathized
"Yeah no, we're not" geo sighed
"I may not be the best person to take relationship advice form right now seeing as my fiance dosen't even remember who I am.. but I think you should try talking to Cole. Maybe ask him on a date?"
"A date??" Geo sputtered, causing him to spill some of his tea "no no no, I couldn't do that, I can't risk messing everything thing up with him Nya" geo spoke quickly due to the slight panic
Nya raised her hands in surrender "didn't say you had to, but if I'm honest what are you scared of loosing? Even if I didn't know that your respectfully both dense as hell Cole wouldn't just up and leave you. I don't think you understand what I'd do to him if he lost you all"
"I do understand, that's why I can risk messing it up, I can't do that to him in case it goes wrong. Plus I don't think I could handle loosing him.." geo sighed as he turned his head to continue watching spitz and Fritz
"Geo, I understand your concerns but I do think you should trust me on this one" Nya hummed as he stood up "I'm going to get more tea"
And just like that suddenly geo was alone with his thought again, now this time nya's had gotten poured into the mix

Awhile after diner geo decided to go talk to Cole before calling it a night.. to no influence of a certain fire ninja what so ever.. cough

Unlike someone, geo nocked softly on the door "Cole? You still up?"
"Yeah, come on in geo" Cole hummed, smiling at the sound of the munce's voice
Cole was siting up in bed when geo walked in, noting he was shirtless he choose to focus on the décore of the room.
Had geo seen Cole shirtless many times before? Yes. Did it make it any less.. distracting? No.
"You can sit down you know" Cole chuckled as he patted as spot on the bed next to him
Geo sat down, the comfort of the mattress beneath him reminding him of how tired he was "not that i have anything wrong with it but your brothers (and sister) are pretty nosey Cole" geo chuckled
"Oh god, were they bothering you to? Kai came in here and bothered me about- .. something's for like an hour, I'm sorry man" cole sighed, not yet wanting to say about just in case
"It's ok, Nya and I only talked for a little bit, also an hour is ridiculous, especially if it was about the same things"
"I know right?? Like I get it already man- anyways, what did you and Nya talk about?" Cole asked, trying to get of the subject of Kai calling him a dumbass for an hour
"It was about me and you if I was being honest, how she noticed we were kind of like spitz and Fritz parents" geo started, finally bringing himself to look at Cole
"I'm guessing we had similar conversations then.. your lucky you got Nya to interrogate you" Cole sighed though carefully took geo's hand in his
Geo didn't pull away. "I think it was more a gentle nudge, but I think it might have worked?"
"I don't think my nudge was very "gentle" but I'll be the first to stop dancing around the subject." *
Cole took a deep breath and made a silent prayer he didn't fuck this up
"I really like you geo, and from what I've heard I think you think the same but was scared to be wrong"
Geo tightened his grip on Cole's hand as a smiled spread across his face "I do feel the same.. like exactly" geo laughed "we're to focused on losing eachother that we miss all the time we could have been together.."
"No time like the present right?" Cole grinned as he leaned forward to wrap an arm around geo, gently pulling the munce closer "may i?" Cole asked once their faces were barely apart
"Please do" geo smiled before his lips were pressed against's coles, the kiss didn't last long but it said what it needed to
"Any chance I can get you to stay in here tonight?"
"I'd love to, can't say it'll be easy making me go back to sharing with spitz and Fritz after though" geo joked causing the two to laugh
"Yeah right, like I'm letting you go back, now lay down, it's past my bedtime"
"Isn't it like ten thirty?"
...
"Yes. Yes it is."
