Summary
After Leona's overblot and attempted murder of the remaining heir of the Valley of Thorns, Farena and The Queen of the Afterglow Savanna pay Queen Maleficia a visit in order to calm the quelling storm between the two unallied countries. When the meeting ends, they agree upon their best warriors to guard each others beloved princes to exemplify trust in their kingdoms and encourage a strong bond between the two princes in the future. Lilia Vanrouge is assigned to protect the resentful, Leona Kingscholar, who sees Malleus as his greatest enemy. While they walk the school grounds together, they find that the two are more alike then they previously had thought and begin to rely on each other more without realizing it.
