Hermione snuggled closer into his chest, nuzzling her face into his naked chest as he snoozed in his sleep. She felt at peace for the first time in the longest time ever. Hermione had never felt like this as she snuggled herself closer to her boyfriend, sighing as she kissed the scars all over his chest, making sure that her love sunk in and he knew that she still loved him.
She had still loved him through everything that had happened.
Hermione had still loved Draco even when he couldn't remember who she was.
She had memories flash through her as they stood opposite each other, metres from each other, and there was nothing. No recognition blossoming behind his eyes as he continued to walk away, his arm wrapped around his fiancée, Astoria Greengrass.
That was no more.
His father was rotting away, whether he had ended up after the revelation that he had been affecting and taking away his son's memories, to drive away the relationship that he had with Hermione Granger.
Narcissa had announced her divorce, and the support for the Malfoy woman was vocal. She was applauded by the public for finally bringing back the "Black" name. And the public would support her through anything and everything.
However, her sights were on helping reconnect her son, Draco, with his girlfriend, Hermione. That was at the top of her list.
"Mmm, good morning, my love." Draco stretched from beneath her, yawning as he wrapped his arms securely around her body. He squeezed her in a tightening hug, which had always been her favourite hugs from him. She snuggled deeper, sinking into the mattress material as she nuzzled herself even closer, practically forcing herself into his skin.
"Good morning, my darling." Hermione kisses him gently. "I've missed this." She sighs, rubbing at her eyes and scratching at the sleepy dust that had developed overnight in the corners of her eyes. This was also the best she had slept in years, and it was all because he was back beside her in their bed. He was back in their home. They were back together again, even Crookshanks had noticed a difference in the change of atmosphere in their Bath apartment.
Home.
He was home.
He was back in her arms, and Hermione wouldn't go wishing for anything to change.
Not when she had just got him back.
Hermione and Draco were back together again.
"I've missed you so much." Hermione kissed him, pushing everything through her into his body.
"I fucking love you." Draco sighs into her body.
