It was a mystery to Kai why his sister had chosen Cole. No, he fully approved of her choice. He was happy for her. And their relationship with Jay had become more like the boy becoming the couple's best friend. But Kai was a little bothered by the lack of words of love between Cole and Nya. However, watching them, he noticed something. Something that spoke of love without words.
Every morning, before training, Cole made a large cup of coffee in a thermos and brought it to the girl's table in the workshop. Then he would take a bottle of water and some sweet treat and put it in Nia's cupboard.
If she was in a bad mood, he would cheer her up with a hug or just by being there. Sometimes he would hum something or read books aloud.
Cole could tell when she was cold, so he would bring her a blanket or give her his hoodie, which he seemed to be wearing for no reason.
Once, Kai found them dancing. In silence and without music. He was surprised because Cole had said after unlocking his potential that he had stopped loving to dance after his mother's death. He didn't feel harmony in dancing, but now he seemed happy in his sister's arms.
He also noticed changes in Nya. She smiled more often and hugged him. She constantly found moments to touch Cole. It was a little unusual, but somehow it warmed her brother's heart.
She constantly whispered something in Cole's ear, after which he either blushed, smiled, or kissed the girl. They talked constantly. It seemed like they never ran out of things to talk about.
Every Friday, they would tell the team and go on a date without any gadgets. No one bothered them. Seeing his sister so happy after these dates and her equally happy boyfriend filled Kai with happiness. But then, everyone around them was infected with this happiness.
Sometimes you don't need to shout about love, you just need someone who loved and appreciated you as much as you loved and appreciated them.
