After five unsatisfying years in Zuzu City, Adelaide Morgan needed a change. Luckily, she had the perfect escape—an old farm left to her by her grandfather on the event of his death. So, she packed up her life and moved to Pelican Town. Overall, the town welcomed her with open arms, with one notable exception: a surly, dark-haired boy who could not understand for the life of him why someone would abandon life in a big city to live somewhere he was desperate to escape from.
