   Summary

   “Who the hell are you?” He hissed, voice hoarse and weak. Hakuji had half the mind to fight the man, but his arms were heavy, not unlike a sack of lead. On top of that, his legs were shaking. Not like any of that mattered, though. He realized quickly, the will in him to fight, was gone. He couldn’t be bothered to care.

   “…Apologies, I am Himejima Gyomei. I truly hope you do not mind that I brought you here, for It wouldn’t have felt right leaving you where you were. Covered in blood, and out cold… Truly a harrowing situation.” The man spoke, voice deep, but not threatening.

   Before Hakuji could think of a response, the man— or, Himejima as he’d just learned, started to cry.
